Chương 2: Prologue: God vs Devil

We start this tale at the Magic Knights entrance exam venue, which was a giant colosseum. There we see the nine magic squads and magic knight examinees watching as two people stand up to get ready for the final fight of the exams.

The Captains are as followed: In order this exact order of sitting
William Vangeance is the first captain of the Magic Knights' Golden Dawn team in the Clover Kingdom. He is thought to be the most likely candidate for the position of Magic Emperor. William is dressed in a helmet that also serves as a mask, covering the upper portion of his face. He wears a long red cloak that reaches his ankles beneath his robe.
Yami Sukehiro is a tall man with a strong physique. He has gray eyes and medium-length black hair that is combed backwards and sticking outwards. Yami wears a black banner with the Black Bull squad's symbol on it over his right shoulder and two strings over his left shoulder as the squad's captain.
Charlotte Roselei is a tall woman with braided upper-back long blonde hair, which she normally ties back into a bun. She's wearing a fancy ornamented helmet with a single shark-fin-like fin projecting from the top. When she isn't wearing her helmet, her beauty is recognized across the Clover Kingdom, and she is regarded as the most beautiful lady.
Fuegoleon Vermillion is a nobleman and the first son of House Vermillion, one of the Clover Kingdom's royal families. He is also the captain of the Magic Knights' Crimson Lion squad. His outfit consists of a white tunic with long sleeves and a high neck, which is covered with a dark blue shirt. He also has a diamond-shaped mark around his eyes and a pair of ruby earrings. He wears a purple belt around his waist to hold the top in place.
Nozel Silva is a nobleman and the first son of House Silva, a royal family in the Clover Kingdom. He is also the captain of the Magic Knights' Silver Eagle squad and a member of the Royal Knights. Nozel is dressed in the Silver Eagles' traditional robe, which features a short fur mantle and frilled panels that reach down to the elbow. Nozel Silva is a slim, fair-skinned man with little brows and narrow purple eyes. Other characters occasionally comment on his pale, silver-white hair, which he wears in a very unusual style. Nozel dresses in the same way as his siblings, in a loose-fitting shirt with a high collar that is left open below to reveal his collarbone.
Dorothy Unsworth is the captain of the Magic Knights' Coral Peacock squad and a witch from the Witches' Forest. Dorothy is a young-looking, fair-skinned woman with lavender hair who is somewhat shorter than usual in height. Dorothy is dressed in a pointed hat with a wide brim and a garland of wildflowers encircling the base of the cone. A flower-shaped brooch secures her outer coat.
Jack the Ripper is the Magic Knights' Green Mantis squad's captain. He has gold eyes and loose, medium-length black hair and is a tall, thin man. A small, red scar (or birthmark) runs from his forehead to his chin on the left side of his face.
Gueldre Poizot is a tall and obese man, who wears a mask and the Purple Orca uniform.

With the Captains
"Kekeke, so who do you think is going to win?" Jack asked with an excited smile on his face as they watched the two examinees walk to the arena. All the captains were interested in the two examinees, mostly because of the amount of magic power being sensed from the two.
"Don't know, Beanpole, but my money is on the blondie with orange down there," This was Yami, who was watching in a way that looks lazy, but you can tell that he was interested. He was also smoking.
"Glad that you picked her, Yami. She is my younger sister after all," Fuegoleon explained with pride, causing all the other captains except Nozel to look at him in shock. Even Dorothy woke up to watch the fight after hearing that.
"Yes, though she is wild and uncontrollable to the same level as her older sister. Watch her mess this up in some way," Nozel said coldly, which caused Charlotte to flinch slightly, while the others tried to get far away from Fuegoleon, who looked like he was about to explode.
"Excuse me? Do you dare to repeat that, Nozel?" Fuegoleon asked with rage tinting his voice. The two glared at each other while releasing their mana pressure, trying to one-up the other. This caused the other captains to grow nervous, and try to back away from them.
Suddenly…
*Crash*
… A black blazing halberd with an inner white struck right between them, causing them the break off and look toward the one who is to blame.
The one who was to blame was Leone Vermillion. She is of average height going at 5"6', at least a c cup size, with a slim waist and hips and buttocks. Like a swimmer, she has a slender but powerful body. Her hair is spiky and blonde with a single orange streak, and it reaches the small of her back. She also had red eyes that bore into your soul and made people think she was insane.
She was glaring at the two captains, causing them both to stare back before turning away grumbling slightly. This caused Jack, Yami, and Dorothy to burst out laughing while the others were either smiling slightly or covering their mouths trying to prevent themselves.
"I quite like her. She is strong and knows how to put men in their place," Charlotte said with a smile, causing Fuegoleon to make a noise of agreement, while Nozel grunted.
'I can't believe I'm sitting here next to Yami!!! Oh, this is like a dream come true!!!' Charlotte thought with a light blush on her face as she subtly peeks at Yami. Yami took a deep breath of his cigarette, and breathe out, causing a cloud of thick smoke to come out, annoying some of the captains.
"Of course you do, Prickly Princess. Though I wouldn't mind having her with my squad either," Yami replied. 'Especially since her magic seems similar to mine,' Yami thought as he looks at the flaming spear that was slowly fading away, leaving a 'burnt' hole where it was. Hearing Nozel scoff, Yami turned to him in annoyance which Nozel returned with a glare.
"As if such a high-class Royal would willingly choose to join your backwater of a squad, Foreigner," Nozel replied still glaring at Yami, whose eyes squinted slightly at the insult.
"Kekeke, I wonder if she would like to fight me after this. I want to see how hard it would be to cut her up!" Jack said with a maniac grin, while also having one of his severing blades out.
"You can try Jack, but I will say that unless you beat her quickly, it will take you quite a while to beat her. And even then, you might still lose." Fuegoleon replied, his face stoic, while every captain stops and looks at Fuegoleon as if he had suddenly grown two heads. Except for Jack, whose maniac grin grew so big that it threatened to split his face, and started cackling like a mad man.
During the entire time the other captains were talking, Gueldre was staring at Leone as if she was a tool rather than a person. The only one who noticed this strange behavior was Charlotte, who was glaring at him, though he didn't notice.

At the same time
"Hey, didn't she cause those crazy accidents during the trials?"
"Hey yeah, you're right!"
"I heard that she is a Royal from the Vermillion family!"
"Those lunatics?! Great, just what we need, a crazy fire person."
"What the hell are these guys going on about?" The one who said this was a man with a lean build and two different colored hair, a light grey hair at the top, black hair at the sides. Additionally, he also sports a black mohawk. One of his facial signatures is a straight line mark surrounded by three pairs of dots on his left forehead. This was Magna Swing, a commoner fire mage with insane control.
"Don't know, but I heard that most of the Vermillion family are crazy pyromaniacs. Well maybe two," replied a tall, young woman with green eyes and brown skin. She sports long, ruffled black hair, that reaches her neck. This was Sol Marron, a powerful earth mage. As Magna turns to her, she gives him a scathing glare, causing him to flinch and turn away.
"How quickly is the Vermillion girl going to beat that commoner?" Asked a tall man with a slender build and slanted light fuchsia eyes. His light blue-colored hair is short and pushed to the sides and back. He wears a pair of gold, hooped earrings and dark glasses with rectangular frames. A diamond-like shape protrudes from the bridge of these glasses. This is Klaus Lunettes, a royal steel wizard. He hears someone scoff next to him and turns to them.
"She wouldn't, she enjoys fights so much, she would usually weaken herself to their level, so she can enjoy the fight," replied Solid. "Except those she doesn't like," Solid muttered to himself trying to be quiet, though Klaus heard him and raises a brow at him before he turns back to the fight. Solid is a tall, young man with a slender build. He has long, silver-colored hair and a pair of blue eyes. He sports his hair in a Dutch braid hairstyle but leaves his fringe and the hair at the top section of his head in a loose, messy hairstyle. He is the second son of the Silva family and cousin to Leone. He is also a royal, water wizard.
In a corner, away from everyone else, was a young man with spiky, aqua-colored hair in a messy mound atop his head. He was busy in the corner painting on a canvas he pulled out of nowhere. He was murmuring about how it should look. He was so occupied, that he didn't even notice how people were looking at him as if he was a weirdo.

In The Arena
We come to the arena, where Leone and her opponent are standing, getting ready to fight. Her opponent is a young man of short stature with blue eyes and medium-length messy blond hair. His hair is long enough to cover both his ears and forehead. Luck's outfit is very simple and consists of an aqua-blue tunic with long sleeves. He also has a maniac smile on his face as he bounces from one foot to the other. This is Luck Voltia, a commoner with Lightning/Thunder Devil Slayer Magic.
"Come on, come on. Are we going to start this fight already or what?!" He asks as he bounces, causing Leone to smile at him.
"Yeah, yeah. Just wait a little longer," Leone replied trying to calm Luck down, to no avail. She also had a smile, but at a much smaller size. After she does, William stands up and everybody but the two fighting looks at him.
"Everbody ready?" He asks, with Leone and Luck releasing their elements as auras around them, causing people to feel the pressure of their magic. Almost immediately, several people fainted from the force easily, including Solid, while the rest are either barely hanging on or aren't affected by it much. This also caused Rill to stop painting and to turn towards the fight to see what was going on, his curiosity getting the better of him.
"Damn, those two are monsters," Yami said with a sweatdrop, as all the other Captains couldn't help but agree with him. Jack is shaking in excitement and anticipation as he watches the two about to square off.
"... Begin!" William announced after a short pause, from the shock of the magical energy being felt. Immediately, Luck's Grimoire floats in front of him and opens.
"Thunder Demon's Boots and Gloves!!!" Luck shouted as pink lightning formed around his arms and legs, creating a pair of gauntlets and boots.
The boots have a rough surface design rather than a smooth surface. Additionally, the tip of the boots are pointed and the shaft goes up to their knees. The collars are much wider in circumference than the rest of the shaft, and the front seats are lower than the rear seams. The front seams also have a V-shaped design at the center. The toes are pointed, the heels have a blade sticking out the back, and the collars have horns that rest on both sides of the knees. The gloves were clawed and extended to the elbow.
After they were formed, Luck charged straight at Leone with a strike from his right glove.
"Flame God's Blazing Fist!!!" Leone ignites her right hand in black fire and counters Luck's attack. As the two attacks clash, it creates a shockwave of black fire and pink lightning, sending those closest to them flying away, ad the rest try to grab bearings. While Rill watches on with an ever-growing look of awe along with everybody else.
"My goodness, those two have so much power!!!" Klaus says, as he uses his left hand to use magic to keep him standing, while he fixes his glasses with his right.
"HELL YEAH!!! THAT WAS WICKED!!!" Magna exclaims at the show of power the two displayed.
The two continue their deadlock, though as they continued, Luck noticed that his glove was slowly being destroyed the longer they went, so he jumped back. He then fixed his glove and concentrated his magic into two balls of lightning in both of his gloves before pointing them at Leone.
"Thunderbolt Destruction!!!"Luck shouted as he launched both balls of lightning at Leone, who swings her flaming fist upwards to the left, turning the 'fire' into a cloud.
"Flame God's Cloud!!!" Leone exclaimed, as the flames protected her from the balls of lightning, which explode on impact. During the explosion, Luck used his speed and circled the cloud to the left of Leone. He charged at her with a dropkick, who dodged it with a slight burn mark on her shirt.
Leone moved her left hand, and the cloud morphed into a medieval halberd. Luck saw this and jumped back to try and gain distance.
"Flame God's Halberd!!!" Leone exclaimed as she thrust her fist and the halberd launched at Luck, who dodged it with his enhanced speed. He then charged at Leone again and punched her in the face. Unfortunately, all that did was make her move back a few inches, before she grabbed his hand, with her right hand, and threw him across the arena. On her face, there were a few scratches on her nose from where Luck hit her.
*Whistle* "Those two are going at it. At this rate, one of them is going to get seriously hurt," Yami said, watching the fight. He was stunned by the amount of control Leone had over her magic. The other captains, even Fuegoleon and Nozel, were the same.
"Kekeke, damn Fire Lion, your little sister is quite the prodigy. I can't wait to cut her up," Jack said as he licked his lips while his grin never faded. Fuegoleon glances at Jack before looking back at the fight.
Leone engulfs both of her hands in 'fire' before she rushes at Luck. As she gets close to him, she tries to hit him as Luck dodges and counters. The two clash fist for a glove, boot for a kick. For every punch Luck lands, Leone lands an even stronger punch. Every clash caused a small shockwave, each piling up and getting stronger slowly until they caused shockwaves strong enough to cause craters in the arena where they clash.
They stopped clashing with each other and backed away from each other. They stopped until they were a few feet away from each other. Luck sported a busted lip, a black eye, a ton of scratches, and was breathing heavily. While Leone had a few scratches on her and that's it. They both were grinning as if it was Christmas.
"Not bad kid, but let's see how you deal with this!!! Flame God's Hellhound!!!" Leone exclaimed as black fire formed in front of her and took the shape of a ball of fire before it changed shape into a giant (between 2‒4.5 ft (0.61‒1.4 m) high at the shoulder) black wolf with a flaming white mane, eyes, and tongue. It also had a spiked collar around its throat. It growled at Luck, who stares it down with a manic look on his face.
"I'm not done, Flame God's Scythe!!!" Leone exclaimed as she engulfed both of her hands-on fire and clapped them together, before she separated them, the fire sticking together and forming a pole. She then used her right hand to create the blade, making a scythe around her size. Luck watching this created two Thunderbolt Destruction orbs in his gloves and pointed them at Leone but not quite firing yet.
"HOLY COW!!! THAT IS SO COOOOOOL!!!" Magna yelled out as he watched Leone show off a bit. Though most other people's thoughts are more focused on how much a noble is letting loose against a commoner.
"Don't kill him," Leone commanded before she and the Hellhound charged at Luck who fired a barrage of Thunderbolt Destruction orbs at the two. Leone countered this easily enough though.
"Fire God's Explosive Flame!!!" Leone shouted as a big black flame formed in her left, unarmed hand and then thrust it out at the barrage, where it exploded into a giant blaze, protecting the two from most and giving them time to sneak around.
"Hey, I know you're there, it's pretty hard to sneak up on me, especially with the amount of magic you have," Luck said before he spread his arms out to both sides of him, and shot another Thunderbolt Destruction barrage. As they fly, Leone and the Hellhound defended themselves from them. The Hellhound was using its claws, which were coated in the black fire, to destroy them, while Leone used her scythe to slice through them.
As the two were defending themselves, Luck used that chance to charge at the Hellhound and dropkick it in its face, plowing straight through it and killing it.
"BASKERVILLE!!! NO!!!" A little girl's voice sounded out in anguish as she watched him tear through her friend. Luck looks towards who said it and smiled sheepishly. He then swiftly jumped to the right, dodging the swing of Leone's Scythe as well as watching how it easily cut through the ground as if it was butter. He then jumped back as Leone swung it back at him, though this time his shirt got caught by it and got cut, without getting hurt.
Leone smirked as she watches Luck jump back before launching a much bigger Thunderbolt Destruction, about a fourth of his size, at her. She easily cuts through it with her Scythe, though she wasn't expecting him to punch her in the face again. She lost focus and lost her Scythe because of it.
"GAAH!!! Why is it always the face?! Flame God's Blazing Kick!!!" Leone exclaimed as she was again hit in the face, which she retaliates with a kick engulfed in the black flames. This launched Luck a good distance away, as Leone wiped her face, to make sure there was no blood on her face before she smirked at Luck.
"Haha, you're a lot of fun to fight Luck, but I wonder how much longer you'll last if I turn it up even further?" Leone asked before she took a deep breath, sucking a lot of air into her lungs. Luck seeing this gets even more exciting, before doing the same thing. Everyone conscious could hear them both taking a deep breath. It went on for a few seconds before they both stopped with puffed-up cheeks.
"Flame God's…"
"Lightning Devil's…"
"... Bellow/Rage!!!"
They both released their attack. One a giant inferno of black fire, the other a giant bolt of pink lightning. They watched as both come closer and closer to each other.
"Oi, you brats! Turn down the power!!! You're going to kill someone!!!" Yami yelled as he and the other captains went down to protect as many people as possible with their magic. As the two attacks clashed, it caused a massive explosion engulfing the entire arena and beyond, but contained just enough to only affect the ring and not rise any higher.
There was a huge cloud of dust and in it, we can see the captains with massive amounts of magic being used to protect many people. In the arena, we can see that Luck was passed out on the floor with a bright smile on his face. Looking down at him while standing was Leone, who picked him up and carried him off in a fireman carry. She walked over to the closest captain, which happened to be her brother, and laughed sheepishly at the look he was giving him.
"Haha, sorry?" Leone said though it came out more like a question. At the same time, a large rock fell from the arena and struck the ground, creating a loud crashing sound. Leone didn't need to turn around to know that she was in big trouble.

Sorry for the wait everyone, I recently saw some Black Clover clips and episodes, so I thought I could create this since I had no idea what to do for my other stories at the moment.
Sorry if the characters are OOC, I tried to do it as close as I could to how I see them, while also adding the changes my character could've made.
Also, Leone only used about a third of her total spells.
P.S. If you didn't guess, the little girl was Noelle. If you look her up on the Black Clover Wiki and look for her child self, that is basically how she looked, but with a necklace with a silver dragon wing at the end of it.
