Chương 22: I’m getting blind
The halal's member disappeared from the party before the authorities of kahmaar appears.
They all entered in the saloon . Iris, which was the last person to entered in the saloon noticed that all the members of halal except Lysandre had their eyes fixed on her, she stopped near the door. Looking her with astonishment.
''What's wrong?'' She asked feeling uncomfortable with their eyes on her.
''He called you sekhmet! '' said Dana
''He called you goddess'' said Farouk and Farshid uniformly
Iris was getting irritated that people keep thinking that she is a goddess or something else. She never had so much attention and got interest on her all these 21years in her life, it was so weird for her.
The young girl sighed heavily as she approaches them .
''Don't you have eyes all of you?You all saw that he was drunk. Wasn't he?'' She said
''You know, they're two sorts of people that always tell the truth, children and drunkers'' said Lysandre with no expression.
Iris rolled her eyes after hearing the words of Lysandre.
''That man was just someone that drank too much , it's all'' she added
''But it's kinda strange '' said Hashem
''I'm tired, I just want to sleep and forget about this journey. Good night everyone '' said Iris leaving them in the saloon.
''Boss, do you really think she's the reincarnation of Bastet? The great sekhmet?'' Questioned Ervin
Lysandre nodded.
''Bastet was a great warrior, ferrous, strong, powerful.She wasn't softhearted,fearful, shy like Iris'' Farshid said
''She was also a soft goddess , kind with the just ones'' said Dana
''But still! I don't think she's the 'one' " added farshid
Lysandre who said nothing since .
"Prepared yourself for tomorrow we're leaving early in the morning , so, go to bed" he said as he left too.
They were all wondering, why are they leaving this early kahmaar. It was true that the authorities of kahmaar were alert of their presence here but Lysandre never left a city in that a hase.
Obeying to the orders of their boss they directed to their respective rooms.
•In the night
Dana went to the kitchen to search for some water since she couldn't find sleep. She thought of the nearness of Lysandre and Iris during the party, she then immediately shook her head to forget the images.
''You're mad Dana, they're not getting closer. I never saw them talking of anything for even 5minutes, it's just my imagination''she said
''Plus, I think that Iris has crushed for the prince Leigh'' Dana tried to convince herself .
She arrived at the kitchen and saw farshid eating like a pig at almost 3:00am. Dana looked at him with disgust, the young man didn't even noticed the presence of Dana, he was too concentrated to eat his food until Dana opened her mouth.
"Why do you like to eat like a small pig? " she asked
'' It's because I love food " he responded while eating
She sighs heavily and sat next to him , pouring the water in her cup. She stood there silent. Farshid noticing that she was too calm and that it wasn't her attitude to be so calm , hd knew something was wrong. He stopped eating and asked.
"Are you okay?"
"Hhm " she looked at him "yeah, why are you asking?" She added
"It looks like something is bothering you"
She stayed silent for awhile then finally broke it "Do you think the boss has changed?"
"No "
"Since the arrival of Iris. He's strange. He's just thinking of her, if she's the reincarnation of any gods"
Farshid smirked when he heard the arguments of Dana.
"You're jealous!" He said
"What are you saying?!" She blushed
"Since you were the only girl in the crew and now you are afraid that she takes your place"
Dana sighed in relieved.
"You're wrong. I just think he's becoming weird"
"Stop having silly thoughts and go to bed" he said, getting up from his chair.
"Good night" he added
"Good night Farshid "
In the morning, the sun was already at the peak it was still 5am. Everyone was up, arranging their luggages when suddenly they heard a loud yelled coming from Iris room.
Lysandre was the first to entered in the room .
He saw Iris in panic , almost trembling.
"I'm blind! I'm blind!"
"What happened?" He asked
At the moment he asked that question the others arrived.
"I woke up and all I saw was just darkness!"
They looked at each other.
They placed Iris in the flying carpet , Farshid, Ervin, Hashem were already on the flying wearing their shawls. On the ground remains, Lysandre, Dana and Farouk.
"Thank you for everything Farouk " said Lysandre with a little smile
"No, it's nothing. It has been a pleasure " he said
Farouk then gazed at the flying carpet.
"Remember, when you will see the witch, don't trust to the first words she will tell you but trust me she's the only person that could help Iris " he added
Lysandre nodded and directed himself to the carpet.
Farouk then looked at Dana.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay here?" Farouk asked to Dana
She smiled and said "No, I can't! Iris is not well and I can't abandon her"
"You know, he is lucky to have such a girl like you with him" Farouk smiled
Dana blushed.
"But know that you're welcome if you want to join my group in kahmaar " he added
"Thank you" she said with a smiled and hugged him.
She ran to the flying carpet and climbed.
Farshid waved his hand with a big smile, Hashem too waved his hand, Ervin just looked at Farouk while Lysandre just Nod his head to tell him goodbye. As the carpet was getting high , Farouk waved his hand too.
"Good luck my friends "
On the flying carpet, Iris has her head on Dana thighs sleeping.
"Boss , were are we going to find that witch?" Ervin asked
"At the east of the continent, It's where Farouk indicated me"
Ervin eyes widened.
"In Bodrum??!"
