Ava woke up feeling refreshed. Her body felt light. And when she saw Matthew who was sleeping so close to her, she couldn't help but move a little closer and snuggle into his embrace.

She felt cold and Matthew's arms were the exact opposite of that.

Wolves, she thought inwardly.

"You know… " Matthew suddenly said. "I thought a kiss would be a good way to wake me up but a snuggle is definitely something that I didn't know I wanted more than a kiss."

"Did I woke you up?" she asked.

"Not really. No."

"What time is it, anyway?"

"Half past noon," Matthew said. "Shall we go and get some dinner?"

"You know what?" Ava leaned back and stared at his handsome face. How could someone be so good-looking when they just literally woke up? "I think you have much better things to do."

"Better than spending time with you?"

"Your father, the queen, Ulva and Drigo."
