Chương 28: What Can You Give Me

When she heard his words, a glimmer of hope was ignited in the depths of her heart, and the first thought she had was, 'Is he a warrior?'

Seeing his confidence, Rosalie hesitated and asked, her brows furrowed, "How can you be so sure? Do you know a peak novice warrior?"

Even though she asked this, in her heart, she knew if he really knew a peak novice warrior, he wouldn't be living in the slums. But as they say, desperation makes people do things they normally would not.

She was desperate. Normally she would've thrown him out by now, but now she was really hoping he wasn't lying to her. After all, he probably was her first and last ray of hope.

She knew if she went to that noble, she most likely would never return alive because once the noble had his way with her and fulfilled his twisted kink, he would get rid of her.

Gulp!

She gulped in fear at the thought. She didn't want to die. No matter how hard her life was, she wanted to live.

"Yes. I do know someone like that." Eric nodded, and knowing she wouldn't believe him if he said just this, he continued.

"I recently accompanied some young warriors to the forest, and by a stroke of luck, ended up saving one of their lives. This guy, who I saved, is the young master of a noble family that has close ties to the Kroft family."

"He promised to do me a favor as repayment for saving his life. So, if I ask him to take care of your matter, he will definitely help me."

"Of course, this is true as long as this noble that wants you doesn't come from a stronger noble family than his." He added,

Rosalie went silent upon hearing his words and stared at him, trying to see if he was lying or not, but his expression was calm and confident.

After a few seconds, she took a deep breath, and the flicker of hope was reignited in her heart.

'He is not lying.' She told herself.

Of course, in the back of her mind, she still had the thought that he might be lying, but as stated earlier, she was desperate and had no other alternatives but to believe him if she wanted to survive.

"No. Although he comes from a noble family, it seems to be among the weakest in the core city. So… if you are not lying, that young master can really help me."

She said before biting her lower lip and asking in a much softer tone, "But… are you really speaking the truth?"

Eric frowned in displeasure, "Of course, I am. If you don't believe me, then forget it."

Saying this, he began to stand up, but Rosalie hurriedly pressed him down, "Please don't be angry. I didn't mean that."

She then went and closed the door before returning.

Eric's gaze flickered seeing this.

Standing in front of him, Rosalie clenched her fists and asked in a low voice, "What do you want in return for helping me?"

The moment he heard this, Eric knew he had succeeded and relaxed before becoming excited. Not only because he would be able to begin his cultivation journey now, but because… the thought of fucking this mature, hapless but the woman who had said those demeaning things about Riya that day thrilled him.

"What can you give me?"

He asked, trying to suppress his excitement, but his eyes were scanning her matronly body with a hungry glint in them.

Seeing this, Rosalie sighed. After hesitating for a few moments, she slowly slid the straps of her blouse off her shoulders before pulling it down, revealing her breasts, glistening with her sweat.
