Sly shrugged, "I don't see the use of staying here any more. I was planning to relocate to your city so I can be near you."
"You stupid man!" I close the distance between us and enveloped him in a hug. "Why will you want to sell the house we have our most memories in?"
"It's nothing to me if you are not here with me." Sly touched my hair as he hugged me tighter, "without you there, our home seemed like a house."
"Daddy, why are you hugging the ice cream man!" Ryn shouted.
"Oh." I chuckled as I broke up from the hug, to face my kids, who have a perplexed expression on their faces.
"I'm sorry, kids." Sly took a squat in front of them, "just a glance at your daddy, and I forget those around me. I'm sorry."
"When are you taking us to get ice cream?" Ray placed both hands on her waist as if she were interrogating him.
"We can do that tonight. It's—"
"Is this your house?" Ryn frowned at him.
