Neveah searched through the office, looking for any thing that contained information related to the secret dealings the waterfall inn was involved in.

A ledger, a note, a letter, anything that could provide a better grasp on the situation with Lord River.

The innkeeper was still unconscious and no one else had come, but Neveah knew it would not be long before they would come searching for him.

There was nothing of interest on the desk and Neveah had begun searching through the shelves, just when she was going to conclude that there would be nothing here, Neveah caught a glimpse of a small book tucked away behind other books in the shelf.

Neveah pulled it out and opened it, glancing through it. There were dates scrawled down in the pages, as well as names.

Neveah was not certain what it meant at this time but for it to be hidden away, she guessed it would contain information they did not want to share.
