Neveah heard a soft knock on her door and then her door came open and the sound of footsteps on her floor board reached her.

However, she did not react as she lay in her bed, her eyes closed as though she was asleep, Neveah had been in this position for hours, over half of a day,

And yet, all along, she had not been asleep for even a moment... how could she think to find sleep when her heart was so uneasy?

Neveah was positively exhausted, after the scare from her father's gift and the intentions behind them and then came Lucas finding his mate which kick-started a string of excitement and jubilation.

It seemed Lucas's mate was the daughter of Alpha Dane's head warrior, she was a warrior herself and born to a prestigious family, a bloodline worthy of being the Luna of Eclipse Claw.

The head warrior had immediately declared a celebration as the girl Meira was his only daughter, yet had not found her mate up until her 24th year.
