Maybe Stella is that smart.
Maybe Lexi is actually oblivious to what happened.
And it was too late when Lexi found out about it. Everything is already working on its course.
That's why she was shocked and find Stella right away.
Lucien wanted to open the door and climb down, but before he could move, somebody from the other side made some movements, and he immediately stopped.
Footsteps are climbing up the stairs. It was light and not obvious at first. But when you listen closely the soft footsteps are getting closer to the door.
Lucien and Keith glanced at each other before they tacitly searched for a good place to hide. Lucien squeezed himself at the small crack behind the shelves while Keith crouched down at the opposite side, right where the pile of boxes was the thickest.

A/N:
*sigh* Was it really wrong to trust someone you don't know personally? I'm at a loss for what to do. *depressed* This novel's book cover is commissioned together with my Drifter book. The art is good right? I really love it a lot. And I decided to make this artist draw my other book covers in the future.
So yeah, that's what I did. For this year's WSA, I plan to write another BL book and also that another book I planned to publish on diff site. I commissioned her and paid upfront because... I was a loyal client? Hahaha, she draw two covers that satisfied me a lot so I trusted her and make a payment in full after explaining what I want. That was way back in January. On february I contacted her and she did not reply. I thought she was busy or something. She's a student, I think? And I got my hands full with my job (that requires me to work 12-16 hrs for 2-3 days a week grrr). Anyway, I contacted her again in March. Still nothing. Then April, May… This month I received the contract for my new BL novel for WSA but still… I did not hear anything from her. So I searched for her insta, and twitter and email and messaged her in all platforms I could find. But she deleted her pfp in fb, never once seen my messages, can’t message her in twitter, and receive no reply in email. So… At this point, I don’t know what to do anymore. Haha.
I don’t hate her for doing this. She must have a reason why she ghosted me. (Bruhh, why do I feel like this mentality is the same with how white lotus shou wait for their scum gong? GAHAHAHA XD) Anyway, if you guys are in this situation what’s the best thing to do? Publicized everything on social media? But I don’t believe doing that will solve anything. Huhu. I just want to talk and settle things privately. Not get public opinions involved and further complicate things. (Sorry, this note is long huhuhu this author is just ranting hehe,)
