Feeling comforted that he was already in his grandmother's domain, he went back to sleep knowing that he wouldn't be able to find Aurora and the driver if he will leave tonight.

The following day.

Brent woke up late to the smell of delicious breakfast floating in the air. He glanced in the corner and saw his grandmother arranging the delectable dishes on the table.

Grandma Sue looked at the bed and saw her grandson already wide awake. A bright smile appeared on her face. "Join me for breakfast, son!" she said cheerfully.

Brent immediately obeyed and left the bed, joining his grandma at the table.

"How's your injury?" asked Grandma Sue.

Brent looked at his injured arm. "It's healing well, Grandma. Thank you so much for your help," he said in a grateful voice.

"That's good!" Grandma Sue remarked pleasantly. "Let's eat breakfast first and then fill me in with the details on why your arms got injured..."
