the city with the rest of us. Nea had fallen asleep a long time back while Aki was skirting between being awake and asleep. Vanessa sat across me with Kou on her lap while Mylene was next  to her, nervously nudging her feet up and down. 

Chandan had taken quietly to the other corner of the place while Eric was also trying to doze off, but the bags under his eyes intensified by the second. He probably wasn't going to make it all the way to dreamland this guy. Sucked.

"That child..." Vanessa suddenly spoke up.

They had avoided the topic till now, tacitly understanding that something had happened. But the truth was much worse than what they were imagining.

In this time, it would have been better to provide everyone with closure and let them know of what happened, but seeing Eric each time made my halt in my words.

This time there was no chance of not speaking up for me though, I had to explain things.
