Chương 3: 03 It's Cheat Time!
Pielle Maladonut, the man who used to conquer this world (game) with his talent in football. He is the greatest player in this country, by the way, this country name is Sakura. He lead this country to the first ever World Cup, while he is only 23 years old in that time. Sakura team in that time, gain their first trophy, even defeated the most winner of time, Golden Trumpet in the final. Afterward, he's getting plenty of offer from biggest clubs in the world and a huge paycheck on that. He didn't stay long for one club, jump another to another, collecting the silverware and championships, to add in his resume. He created another record after become the most expensive player after the giant football club from Red Carnation nation, Raal Madrid pays huge amount for his transfer fee.
I know, his name came from the combination of two legendary footballer in our real world legend, so it's Mr. Obvious that this guy held the peak of glory in this industry. Although he apparently become fallen star after he been accused for match fixing scandals. None of the charges are true as he actually won the trial in court. Although he won the battle, but he losing the war - the propaganda to let him fall and never rise again already too late to be corrected.
His future suddenly become bleak, just like John Dip case, a famous actor that lost his job because of his notorious ex-wife. He been accused with wrong accusation by his wife, leading to hi demise. He cruelly fired and terminated his contract by his employer, but still he getting support from public. The talented actor screwed by the accusation, so he getting lots of sympathizer and moral supports. No wonder the new movie that he should be star on it has the lowest collection than the first two movie after he been replaced. Back to our story, Pielle, after found not guilty, felt that his passion in football become lukewarm thus taking decision to retire, and letting this country lost an ultimate ace. He become jobless, making the old temple as his home now.
As for this game, he will appear as the first any recharge bonus, to grant you special traits in football. The traits is very, I mean, very very useful as it's also give you stats up - a superb 30 points buff on that. As example, let's say you been granted the 'Magician' special trait, automatically your dribbling stat will upgraded to plus 30 points. It's a stats for a month training! Not only it's guarantee your place as sport scholarship student, you can even get in first team as early as possible. Getting scholarship didn't mean you can get in to first team. That's why you have to train harder in order to increase you technical ability by level up your skill.
Yet, to win this game, you must get good score in academic achievements. You must reach at least 80 points for all subject, before graduate in the third years. Football or academic, you must know how to balance your time in this three years in order to win this game. If you too focusing on the sport, your target will ignore you completely and due to your low grades could lead you to bad end. Vise versa, if your too focusing on academics, you will lose your scholarship and will drop out from school, thus a bad end too!
So, as conclusion, Pielle existent is cheat like! If I could meet him after living in this world, that will make my day! Without any hesitate, I using my bike, racing to the old temple, climbing up the long stairs and here I am now, after three chapters! And he didn't appear!!!! Of course not... He living behind the temple, so I have to move there. The temple quite large by the way, because it's used to be the place where the monks trained. The legendary guy a.k.a my cheat person living in the monk quarters. But hey, even though this old temple were abandon, but the place still nice and well kept. Maybe that guy work, who knows?
"Mr. Pielle?" My mouth spontaneously speak those words, after that guy image entering my sight. He chilling alone while sitting at the bench.
"Yes.... Who are you?" He didn't startle with my sudden appearance, still in relaxing mood.
"You biggest fan! Can you show me how to become a good footballer?!" Like the game dialogues, I sprout out the sentences. He show some interest after listened what I said.
"Oh... Well, I could teach you one or two move..."
"Teach me who to dribble ball!" That is the keyword to learn the special traits called 'Magician'.
"Sure, why not?" Mr. Pielle stand up and went to the place where he kept the ball. Then, he come back and started to show off his skill like the freestyle footballer show. The show only take few minutes, but I know that I already learn it by listening a sudden announcement in my head.
[Magicians Special Trait learned.]
I feel so happy because I get the cheat option even though I didn't recharge (like in the game). Well, I couldn't see my stats right now, but my dribble level should be 40. To reach that level, I would take about three years of this game time period, while sacrificing another stat. Lucky me! There another place should I go after this. So, it's time for farewell to that guy, Mr. Pielle.
"Thanks, Mr. Pielle...."
"Don't mention it..." He already sit at the same place, smile at me.
"I will take my.... WHAT A MINUTE!" I remember something that should happen after I learn the special trait in the game.
"What?!" Mr. Pielle startled when I suddenly rise my voice.
"You, you didn't disappear?"
"What are talking about, brat?" He look me with a weird face, thinking that I going crazy. Sure, why he must disappear after teaching me a skill? That's actually happened in the game, but for me now, its a real life. This is my new reality that I should accept. Although, the stats and parameters still follow the game.
"Ah, I'm sorry Mr. Pielle for my bad behavior... I'm so sorry...." I'm bowing to him, showing my regret saying those words.
"I don't get it, but I will accept your apologize...." As expected the former footballer star. I pretty sure he will regretted that words as I continued my speech.
"Can you teach me another football skill, Mr Pielle? I really wanted to become a great football player like you! No matter what people said in the past, you, only you, my idol and inspiration for becoming a footballer!" Using ultimate begging, a dogeza, I said those words with pathetic pleading tone. I don't care about pride, I need CHEAT. What is pride? Can you eat it?
"... Fine. I will help you achieve what you wanted. Rise up...." After a few pause moment and pondering, he finally give up. I won....
"Thank you Mr Pielle!"
Surprise! I really having a great moment right now as I manage to learn all twelve special traits that available for player in the game. All of that happen in this morning. While in the game, you can learn only one and it's taking the whole morning period for that, just now, I learn all of special traits in one hour only, just by watching the Mr. Pielle demonstrations. I choose all the skills without second thought, and here I am, a great buff up! The special traits that been absorb by me are:
1. Magician (dribbling buff) - My first time with him. (Think positive guys)
2. Phantom (agility buff)
3. Power Header (heading buff)
4. Play Maker (passing buff)
5. Poacher (finishing buff)
6. Knuckle Ball (free kick buff)
7. Fox in The Box (off ball buff)
8. Long Shot Taker (long shot buff)
9. Flair (technique and flair buff)
10. Crosser (Crossing buff)
11. Engine (Stamina + Work rate)
12. Captain Material (leadership buff)
Too bad that I couldn't see what I gained after getting this cheat. I have to return home and use the large mirror to see my stats. Well, I have other place to visit, same like here, to cheat again, so it's not possible for me to return home immediately. By the way, Mr. Pielle already resting at his favorite place, taking breath after tired fulfilling my request. In one hour straight, he shown me his talents, that once shocked the world. I can see his smile shine after gloomy mood that he radiate in the first moment when I meet him. Once you love, you will always love it. His time with football will always in his mind.
"Thank you Mr Pielle for your teaching. I, Shujinko never forget about your teaching and will always regards you as my master in football. This pupil will show respected..." Just like the wuxia story, I cupped my hand, bow to him like a martial arts student kneel to his grand master. Mr. Pielle startled a bit but shown his smile, accepting my respect.
"I'm proud to teach you, as fellow footballer and hope you will use this ability to shine in this sport world. As for me, I proud to become your master, because you a quick learner, although at first, I never feel that your talented in this sport...." My guilty consciousness increased as his words stabbed my heart. I playing football to score the girl of my dream, so his words making me sweats.
"This student will always remember master wise advice..." I said it with straight face, making him happy.
"Sure child, go for it!" He encourage me with his words.
"This student will excuse his self. Thanks for your teaching again, master...."
"Off you go. Oh, if you have time, come again to this place at afternoon Sunday. I will ask for your help."
"Sure master, consider it done...."
