Chapter 88: Inside Anton's World
Emily's POV
Few hours earlier
I strolled to the garden to take a walk and get away from the sudden loss of my beautiful eyebrows.
I chose the garden not just because of its beauty but because of the lack of mirrors and transparent things to remind me of my misfortune.
I would have been amused at my brother's behavior if I wasn't currently looking like an orphaned bird caught in the storm.
I sat down on the bare floor wishing the stars were out so I could stare at them. I had no friends nor freedom to move freely.
Apart from palace duties that took Zuri and I outside the palace, I wasn't allowed to leave, not that I knew where to go even if I wanted to.
The sounds of footsteps made me sit upright. At first I thought it was my brother coming to apologize (I know it's highly unlikely) but I made that assumption because it was a royal garden and only Family members were allowed.
