Chương 7: Rampage
Cedrick decided to sneak and used shadow manipulation and entered stealth. He doesn't want to catch the attention of the monsters and be ambushed again.
When Cedrick controlled the shadow to become part of him, his body began to fade away, and he vanished from his current location. He became invisible like a specter and continued searching around.
Cedrick arrived at an open place that was filled with goblins that were doing sword things, target practice with bows and some who were trying to cast some spells.
Cedrick observed them before doing anything.

Cedrick was considering his options in this circumstances, as the goblin warriors counted in the hundreds, while the goblin rangers numbered just less than hundreds. There were goblin mages numbered twenty five.
Cedrick thought of how few the mages because the talent for magic is not common in this world. As Cedrick was about to get closer, he stopped because he fell something different.
"It seems the elites were having a meeting in a tent."
Cedrick made the right decision for not going closer as their is a goblin mage who can sense mana flactuations which would alert the other goblins.
Cedrick took a deep breath and he went towards the center of the training field. Cedrick wanted to test a theory that he just thought right now and that is to test if he can really use other elements.
Cedrick thought this was the perfect skill of this situation as black void formulated in his palm and it slowly rise upwards to the training ground.
[Draconic Magic Activated.]
"Void Style: Vortex."
The goblin warriors and rangers did not feel a thing but the goblin mages suddenly feel a mana fluctuation somewhere in the training field but could not detect where it from.
With a snap of his finger, chaos started among the goblins. When Cedrick snap his finger, a sound like a glass breaking was heard but actually there were no glass around but space itself. Giant black hole in 15 meters in diameter appeared and pulled everything around it's surrounding.
Cedrick smiled as his theory was effective. He has the ability to use all elements and he just need a proper image of the spell. He was impressed with his draconic magic's capability as he can see the sheer power of the vortex he created.
Not only did it pull the goblins, but even the equipments and fences around were not able to escape. The goblins who were caught off guard were not able to withstand the pulling force of the vortex.
Numerous notification pop up in Cedrick's view.

After a few seconds later, Cedrick ignored the notifications as the tent itself was also sucked by the vortex and revealing a robe goblin who was conjuring a barrier to prevent the five of them being sucked up.
Four guards plunged their weapons on the ground to serve it as an anchor to prevent from being pulled. Cedrick was amazed as all hundreds of goblins were fitted in the vortex but they were actually sent into the vast and infinite space. He felt pity for them but didn't dwell on it much longer.
[Roar of the Arcane Dragon.]
Seing that the vortex was about to disappear while there were still many goblins on midair that was about to be sucked inside the black hole. He directly fired his roar into the black hole as sound of explosions were heard inside the blackhole.
The five remaining goblins looked at Cedrick with hostility as they want to avenge their fallen comrades. Soon the vortex disappeared along with the hundred of goblins with it. No corpse were seen on the ground.

Hundreds of notification pop up in Cedrick's view but he ignored it all. Even annihilating hundreds of goblins, Cedrick wasn't able to level up as the experience wasn't enough.
The bigger one of the four guards emitted a loud roar as he had seen the massacre of his kind.
[Enemy Goblin Berserker has activated Berserk Cry.]

It was fuming with rage as it charge towards Cedrick but Cedrick didn't care as he knew he won't be in trouble. The others also arrived near Cedrick but Cedrick did not care. He inspected everyone of them at the same time.

To Cedrick, these goblins were not threat to him at all but the one at back and started charging towards him.

An evolved species of goblin warrior and known for their robust and immense physical force. The goblin champion is the fifth strongest among the goblins just below the goblin chief. It knows how to lead the goblins to assault town and villages in an orderly fashion.
They all simultaneously attacked Cedrick into five direction. Cedrick manipulated the air around them which lead their attacks to miss him. Cedrick didn't let go of the chance and counterattack as his speed was much faster than theirs, appearing in front of the berserker.
Cedrick used the momentum and landed an attack in the abdoment followed by his elbow strucking the neck.

The others were enraged seing this and charged at Cedrick. Cedrick could now see that they were coordinating. They were also buffed by the Goblin Champion.

[All enemy goblin will have 15% stats increase and will deal 10% more damage.]
The goblins did not hold back as they were determined to finish Cedrick. Cedrick on the other hand smiled as he was enjoying the battle. He was exhilarated as he can see that he was adapting to fighting.
Unlike before he was having trouble reacting to Clark but now it is different. He was unleashing attacks to the goblins who got neared him before they could attack.
Seing that they were being pushed back, they retreated. Cedrick who saw tried to give a chase to the mage but was stopped by the other two. Cedrick was amazed as they coordinated well.
The mage fired a spell to Cedrick but he didn't dodge at all. Instead he rushed towards it.

Seing that Cedrick was fine after that. All eyes were of the goblins were wide as they couldn't believe that a magic spell is useless. As he was nearing the Hobgoblin Mage, the buffed berserkers appeared in front of him. Cedrick looked even more excited than being scared.
Seing that this was a perfect opportunity to learn. Cedrick didn't use any more magic as he tried to familiar himself into combat.
Facing two goblins who were good at combat, Cedrick leap in the air and spin around as he pass through one of them. He immediately launch a heavy kick towards the nape.

After killing one of the berserkers, as soon as he landed, he immediately crouched down and kick the feet of the other making it fall. Cedrick then grabbed its neck and gathered his force in the hand and crushed it. Sound of crack was heard but Cedrick followed a punch on the goblins face finishing it.

The goblins who were not targeted by Cedrick tried to stab him in the back. Cedrick sidestepped allowing him to barely dodge. Cedrick then bashed his fist. Due to his momentum from attempting to stab him, the goblin were not able to dodge in time and was thrown three meters away.

Sensing that the remaining goblins were about to go berserk seing that their comrades were dying one by one, Cedrick started to getting more aggressive rather than focusing in defense and evasion.
He kicked the head of the mage which made it fly upwards. Cedrick quickly attack his next target. He twisted his waist and punched to the hook towards the Goblin Champion.
The goblin was able to dodge it barely due to it's instinct, but Cedrick wasn't done yet. Cedrick twist his legs and launch a kick hitting the neck. Cedrick followed it by a jab towards the jaw.
Cedrick didn't let go of the Goblin Champion until it fell down not being able to undure Cedrick's barrage of attacks.

Cedrick then charged towards the mage but got slashed by the remaining berserker.

Seing that his comrade created an opportunity for him, he started casting his best spells and fired it to Cedrick.

Cedrick retreated and grabbed a sword from the ground. Seing him grabbing a weapon, the two goblins stared at him warily. He had dealt with them even his bare hands that's why they were so alert now he is holding a sword.
Before the goblins could react, the sword slashed their neck in a cresent wave. Two heads were sent flying with the body began to fall on the ground.
Cedrick was now the last one standing. He took a deep breath as he look at the notifications.

"I had annihilated more than a hundred of goblins yet I didn't level up. The experience were so stingy. I feel like I wasted my efforts though."
He grumbled and complain on how pitiful the experience the goblins give. Seing that Goblins almost gave no experience, he thought he should avoid them next time.
Cedrick then continued his journey and search for other monsters. He didn't want the feeling to he had felt on the fight to disapper.
