Chương 189: Marco versus Mathyas
Ramse ran thru the dark forest. He thought about Sienna and a beautiful couple of golden-haired children. It felt sweet and he felt his heart warm up. "I will do anything for it to happen." he nodded in his head. He carried heavy sacks with things for Sienna from her treasure cave, but his feet were springy and run soft.
Suddenly he heard an eagle screech. Ramse stood abruptly and looked up. Bran with Cosimo landed right next to him and behind them, cold Marco.
"Bran, King Marco, Cosimo."Ramse noted."I'm glad to see you. Especially you Marco," he sighed. "We need to talk."
Ramse found a hidden spot and told them what happened. "We are waiting for Sarcos to come back. I and Xander are helping Sienna to survive there. Mathyas is quite weak in his ways but cruel to her. He almost killed her."Ramse sighed.
"She seems a bit wild. She needs to learn who is her master, "Cosimo just noted coldly. "Is better the queen stay with Mathyas, he can protect her." he nodded.
Marco went half crazy. Ramse never saw the cold eagle so enraged. His eyes changed colour to red! He was about to lash at the old scorpion and kill him.
Ramse coughed hard and looked into Marco's cold red eyes. He shook his head and showed him to wait.
"I think it will be better if Bran takes Cosimo first to visit Marath and Mathyas. Cosimo might find out more about Sarcos, as he is the one who made the weapon to kill him."Ramse noted. "Marco can stay here with me for a little while and calm down." Marco looked at Ramse."You might be right, I feel I need to kill something first."
Cosimo chuckled and went with Bran to the fortress.
Marco looked at Ramse."Why did you keep me behind?"
"I do not trust Cosimo, he is too stubborn old. He might try to halt our plan."Ramse whispered.
"What plan?" Marco asked curiously.
"To free Sienna of Mathyas of course," Ramse said."He is a kiddy lunatic sorcerer. He almost killed her."
"Why should I trust you?" Marco noted coldly.
"Smell here."Ramse pointed at his cheek.
Marco did not even need to get close to see Ramse being kissed by Sienna. He saw it as a big red smell splodge on his face.
"I got a kiss today from her for saving her life again. Me.Who she hardly stands as a friend before. I get hugs and kisses on the cheek every day now because that guy is a monster."Ramse raged."He got magic like Sarcos. He could kill anyone with the flick of his finger, though he calls Sienna heavy. He is so enraging."Ramse sighted.
"He called Sienna heavy?"Marco looked in shock.
"Yes! He got power, but no strength, and no conscience, he is unpredictable, impatient and cruel. Sienna got almost eaten by his savage mother. Twice! And his father wants her for himself too even though he is not a king!"
"What?" Marco hissed."Are you sure you are not crazy?"This seemed too unreal to him!
"I wish it was not real! Sienna is going crazy. We have to save her! We have to save her and made that monster king kill Darren's king for us. He wants her too."Ramse noted.
"Sure." Marco nodded."I go see Mathyas in the morning."
"Just don't fight him or you will be dead. We have a secret tunnel to get her out of the garden."Ramse noted. "Go see him, and after we will meet here at night, to see when we strike, hm? "Ramse said to the cold eagle.
"Sure, "Marco nodded."I will do whatever I want anyway!" he thought and flew to meet Mathyas.
When Bran drop Cosimo at the fortress it was just twilight breaking. Cosimo went straight to Marath's laboratory. Marath welcomed him very kindly. He was overjoyed by his son's victory and was keen to look into the old scorpion's sad face.
A few minutes later Mathyas heard a commotion at the gate, so he went to check it out. The huge sea eagle descended from the sky and changed into a strong warrior." I like to talk to Mathyas," he said coldly.
"I'm Mathyas. What do you want eagle, "Mathyas asked a bit expectantly.
"I'm Marco, the Sea Eagle King, I came to see my queen Sienna," Marco said coldly staring into Mathyas's red eyes.
"She is mine now," Matyas smiled victoriously."I killed Sarcos and the deal was, she belong to me afterwards."
"I made no deal with you."Marco stated coldly."You can keep Sarcos's weeks then, but not mine."
"I'm keeping all the weeks. She is staying here forever or till she is dead if she will enrage me too much."Mathyas taunted the eagle."I will kiss her, mate her and have a bunch of gold-haired babies with her."Mathyas said chuckling.
"My week is starting in two days, "Eagle noted coldly.
"Sure, feel free to come and fight for her. But if I will kill you, you will be not able to see her once a year for a visit like her other mates. Tiger and my uncle Sharchan."He chuckled."I'm actually mating my aunt." he chuckled."Ridiculous!"
Marco looked at the lean Mathyas."How strong can he be?" he thought. "Come out and fight now." he looked at him coldly.
"Mathyas flicked his fingers and a little fireball appeared."Get lost eagle. I'm busy with Sienna today." he chuckled and threw it at Marco!
The fireball grew in the air and smashed into Marco's shield."Not bad for a little guy."Marco nodded."Can you do any more?"
"Sure."Mathyas smiled wickedly and flicked his fingers. Marco was suddenly floating in the air!
"Now, if I flick it again, you fell down dead."Mathyas looked pitifully at him."You will never see the little queen again."
Marco felt an invisible rope tighten around his neck. He could not grab it, but it was clearly there, strangling him slowly! The strong eagle started to lose his breath.
Just then Ramse came out of the forest with the heavy sacks." Marco? What are you doing here?" he play it up.
"He is about to die. Pity, such a hero."Mathyas shook his head pitifully.
"Please, Mathyas, don't kill another Sienna's mate yet. She will start crying again. I do not think I can take any more of that sobbing. Kill him after you mate her, hm?"Ramse asked carefully.
"How would she know?"Mathyas chuckled."I can kill you too."
"We have a deal Mathyas."Ramse shook his head."She is getting better, no? The eagle bracelet will fall off her arm and she will find out, it is different than the scorpion mark, you know!"
"Aha, clever ape again, "Mathyas noted. "Ok, then. I don't want to mate her sobbing. I will let him go off for today. Come in 11 months to see your queen. Once a year for 3 days. If I see you again before that, I will kill you for sure." Mathyas stared coldly at Marco. He flicked his fingers and Marco start falling down.
Marco glanced at Ramse and changed into an eagle in mid-air. He finally understood what Ramse was talking about! He spread his wings and flew out of sight rapidly.
"Ha, mighty eagle."Mathyas chuckled.
Ramse sighed and went into the fortress behind Mathyas.
"Where you went for so long anyway? "Mathyas asked him suspiciously.
"To sleep in peace, I told you she was too sick yesterday. I got exhausted." Ramse noted.
"What do you think about Marco?"Mathyas asked him.
"Well, I was lucky you found him first. If he saw me by myself he will beat me to mush. He can't stand me. He is boring and cold as an icy iceberg."Ramse noted.
"So how does Sienna likes him? "Mathyas asked curiously.
"He saved her from old crazy Eagle King, from upset Sharchan after he took her from me, he killed that Kraken with Sarcos and he still has a good muscular figure I guess. He can be burning hot at the times."Ramse chuckled nervously."He is a soldier, she doesn't expect from him that much."
"Hm, ok."Mathyas nodded."What about my uncle?"
"He is too possessive, she likes him but keeps running away from him when he upsets her and tiger is too busy, always working on his city. Actually, I think you will be quite the best of her mates. You have plenty of time, look handsome and have magic. If you are kind a little, she should fall for you again."Ramse noted.
"Ok, you might go," Mathyas nodded satisfied. Ramse went to put the food from the heavy sacks in the kitchen first.
Marath invited Cosimo to the laboratory." Come in. You can see the remains of your son." he said gently. He drank the sad look on the old scorpion's face.
"You should make your son immortal as me."Marath chuckled.
"Well, that decision was up to him, you know how strong and wild he was"Cosimo nodded sadly.
"Yes, almost pity he is gone. Beating you up from his 7 years. How humiliating. Your little squirrel warrior."Marath chuckled.
"Sometimes, I feel sorry that I locked him in that dungeon. When he got out his strength was multiplied thousands of times. Is almost as if he matured instantly."Cosimo sighed.
"Well, wild kids, I locked my son in the dungeon too. He did not want to go out, but his strength was the same."Marath nodded."If you are harder on him, he would be alive."
"You are right, might I stay alone with him to say goodbye to him?" the old scorpion said hardly.
"Feel free."Marath grinned and left Cosimo alone in the lab.
In the higher part of the fortress, Sienna just woke up in the morning and smiled in her head."Ramse's plan actually worked. Mathyas did not come! And Thyasse as well!"
"Good morning Xander."She smiled. Xander just growled. He was quite tired as he did not sleep the whole night!
Sienna went to the bathroom, and dress up in a warm red velvet dress, she brushed her hair and painted her lips bright red. She just felt kind of wild and longed for fresh air. She ate some grapes and decided to go to the garden.
Sienna walked with Xander down the corridors in quite a good mood till she bumped into Marath! He was just on his way somewhere and looked quite happy.
Marath looked at the beautiful queen and smiled cheekily.
Sienna curtsied slightly, "Good morning, Marath."
Marath came closer to her."Sienna, did you sleep well?" he asked her quite cheerfully.
"Yes. Thank you for asking." she smiled politely, she was a bit worried but he looked in a very good mood.
Sienna slowly went to pass him, when he suddenly turned and locked her in between his arms and the wall in the narrow corridor!
