Chương 43: The Black Magic
"What about you my nephew? Do you want to be my follower now? I want to be kind to you because we still have a blood relations, "Binju said with an insulting smile to Woon.
"Never!" Woon pulled his two swords out from behind his back and put the swords together in the front to aim the weapon to Binju and going to stab him. He ran with all of his might and at a full speed with his sword drawn forward.
"Cranggg!!" suddenly the tip of Woon's sword hit something hard. The prince's sword had just been held by a metal plate that appeared out of nowhere.
Woon looked forward and realized that his sword had hit a hard object and saw that someone was standing before him holding a strong spear that was blocking Woon's attack. There is a woman with a beautiful face who has a beautiful green eyes and long silver hair that swayed smoothly by the wind. The prince was still silent in his position, both of his swords were drawn to the spear that the woman was holding. His pupils immediately widened when he realized who are the figure of the woman who had come and dispelled his attack.
"Pysche!" said Woon who was very surprised.
Pysche raised her spear higher and woven it towards Woon. The prince avoids the attack while jumping back and standing again next to Dan Oh.
"Hahaha...I brought another special gift for you, my prince...." Said Binju later.Suddenly there were the two new figures that emerged from Binju's right and left sides. A middle-aged woman and man were standing next to Binju while carrying swords in their hands.
"Father... Mother ... " Woon murmured softly as to see a familiar figure who appeared beside his uncle. Binju had just raised the illusion of Pysche's figure and Woon's parents used his black magic.
"How is it? Do you like my special gift? I bring back the people you love so much from the dead. Hahaha... What a sweet and touching family reunion isn't it?" said the king of darkness to the prince.
Woon just fell stiff in his place, looking at the three figures he missed so much. The prince looked at the three with his lost eyes. Suddenly the sadness that he had begun to forget about come to haunt him and being dragged back to filled all his soul and heart.
At that moment Pysche ran quickly while carrying her spear towards Woon and Dan Oh. The woman is ready to attack them. Dan Oh immediately took her arrow and wanted to shoot Pysche but her attack could be completely driven by the woman using her spear. Pysche then stopped on her place. Do not want to just give up Dan Oh immediately took back her arrow and directed it to the woman.
"Sraangg!" suddenly Woon stood before Dan Oh and dispelled Dan Oh's arrow with his sword. Woon made Dan Oh's arrow thrown away into the air.
"Woon!! are you crazy?!" shouted Dan Oh angryly at the prince.
"Don't ever hurt them!!" this time Woon shouted in a loud voice to Dan Oh. The little girl was stunned to hear Woon's scream at her and looked at the prince with a confused face.
"Prince Woon... Wake up! That's not the real of them, this is all just an illusion, they are all dead!" said Dan Oh tried to reveal the harsh reality before Woon to wake him up.
"Correct! They are dead, then do you want to kill them for a second time? Hah?" Woon shouted once again making Dan Oh speechless and running out of words. She was unable to understand the prince who became very irrational when dealing with the people he loved, when dealing with the girl he loved. The tears just dripped through her right cheek. Dan Oh, the girl is unable to explain her current feelings. Either she cried because of her sadness or because of her shock after received a very sharp attitude from the prince.
"Woon ... why do you...?" Dan Oh doesn't know what to choose to continue her sentence. It was very clear that Woon had not been able to completely give up on the three people he loved and make the man sink back in his sense of disrelief for lost them to the second time.
"Ch! This little girl... Don't disturb other people's family reunions, it's not polite of you ... " Binju told Dan Oh.
Suddenly the whole tower shook violently. A crack appeared on the floor between Dan Oh and Woon. Binju was using his magic power to split the tower into two parts, separating the two sides so that the two of them were far apart.
Dan Oh and Woon were very surprised to see what was happening, suddenly the distance between the two of them became farther away. They both tried hardly to maintain their body balance so they would not fall down. The tower seemed to shift straightly on the opposite direction. Binju has separated the two sides of different parts of the tower. The man made the distance between the two person reach five meters. How great was the power that the king of darkness had that he was able to split the thick and strong walls of this tower so easily.
"Ah... I can't be an unfair uncle who couldn't share my love for my nephew and niece properly. I will not forget to send a special gift to my beautiful, arrogant niece, " said Binju later.
At that moment he threw a black lightning from his hand into the air. The lightning moves as if it has the eyes and direction of the destination. The black lightning raised by Binju descended under the tower, passing through the cracks of the fighting troops below and sliding straight towards Gwi who was currently fighting in his human form. The lightning attacked Gwi's body and strike the man on the ground.
"Gwi!" Siera, who is aware of the sudden attack, immediately ended her fight and ran towards the loyal guard.
Gwi's shirt has caught on fire and a breakthrough shows a bare skin on his chest and stomach. Gwi groaned loudly while rolling on the ground and holding on to his stomach tightly. The black lightning has reactivated the black magic poison that Gwi received from his previous fight with the O'lik Daraxt creature some time ago. The wound in his stomach seemed darkened and spread throughout the whole body making him fall even more in pain.
"Gwi!" Siera tried to reach Gwi's body and hold the man's arm. But suddenly he swung her right hand firmly and hit Siera's body.
The princess smashed far into the air and fell to the ground hardly. Eros immediately approached her and helped her to stand up. Siera can felt an extreme pain on her right arm. Gwi's sharp nails just tore her skin and left a deep wound on her arm.
Siera and Eros turned their eyes to Gwi and saw that the man had just changed again in his terrifying wolf form. But there is something that is different from his form of the wolf. Gwi's eyes glowed bright red and there were splashes of black lightning surrounding his body. Wolf Gwi walked slowly on standby toward Siera and Eros while raising a threatening moan. He no longer recognized his master, he did not recognize the princess he had served. The black magic has take control over him.
On the other side, Ryu and Key have yet to find a way to defeat the giant monster they fought. The disorganized attack made both of them start to feel stressed and exhausted because it didn't make their huge enemy surrender or even fall. Ryu suddenly got a brilliant idea that he got after observing the movements of the giant in front of him.
"Senior! I'll distract him, hurt his leg severely!" Ryu's scream from another corner of the room echoed throughout the corner of the tower, which no longer seemed to be flush with the walls.
There were several arches formed on the tower wall and leading out of the tower caused by the impact of the giant hammer. But the monster's punch didn't seem to be able to make the strong tower collapse. The wall which as thick as Ryu's body was really hard to just punch holes in it, let alone destroy it.
After listening to Ryu's instructions, Key focused her attacks on the monster's feet without giving much comment. It was the only faith she had to believe in her junior's idea. While running towards the stairs, Ryu threw his axe at the giant's face and hit the big creature's nose. The wound didn't ooze blood, there was only a little mucus dripping and wetting Ryu's axe.
"iiiuuuh" Ryu said disgustedly when the ax he used to hurt the creature slid back towards him.
The axe was drenched in a disgustingly sticky slime. The giant who felt that he had been injured immediately became angry and looked for the main culprit who made his nose hurt. He saw Ryu was holding the axe with his slime and he knew, he was the man who did it.
The giant was furious and attacked Ryu blindly with his big hammer. Ryu with his speed and agility tried to jump here and there to avoid the giant attack. He tried to climb the stairs to get a higher position than the giant. Ryu then jumped highly and landed on the giant's head. He began to hurt the giant's eyes to blind the giant's view.
The giant groaned in pain and tried to hit Ryu who was above his head, but before the big hammer held by the giant hit Ryu's body, the man jumped from above the giant's head and made the big creature hit his own head. A dizziness soon filled the giant's head, he was also no longer able to see clearly because his eyes had been badly injured.
Seeing the giant begin to focus with his upper body, Key immediately ran over and launched an attack on the giant's two legs. The woman used her boomerang as a sword to cut the giant's leg. She circled around the giant's feet while avoiding the stomping of the giant creature's feet to slash her weapon at the giant's lower body. She had to repeatedly jump to avoid the giant stamped that seemed to be starting to panic.
Ryu, who realized that the giant's eyes were blind and made it difficult for the creature to find his opponent, immediately joined Key and hit the giant creature's legs for many times with his two sharp axes. The two comrades continued to move and attacked the giant's blind spot relentlessly. At that moment it was clear that the giant was starting to panic and in a lot of pain.
He tried to attack in a blind manner in all directions without knowing his destination. Suddenly the ground around them shook violently, making the two comrades extremely shocked. They were not yet lost the sense of shock caused by the vibration that appeared, suddenly the ground in front of them split open. It happened as a side effect of Binju's black magic splitting the tower into two parts up there.
The giant, who was mad and didn't know where to go, finally fell into a gaping hole that cut right through the center of the tower. The very deep and five meter wide hole engulfed the giant into the core of the planet and left only the loud roar of the giant which becoming increasingly inaudible. Key and Ryu looked at each other and smiled because they were finally able to defeat the monster.
But suddenly there was another crack that spreading and made the ground beneath Key's feet sink down. Key's body immediately disappeared and fell into a new hole that was formed, causing Ryu to immediately feel panic and frightened.
"Keys!" the man spontaneously called Key's name and ran fastly into the crack in the ground where Key fell.
Ryu is able to see the magma blazing from a distance emerging from the core planet of Mirac. He couldn't see Key anywhere, the man panicked and started crying while calling the woman's name for many times. He never imagined that he would watch her suddenly have to leave his life like that. His world was spinning, his heart was beating faster, everything around him seemed to be falling apart.
