Chương 7: Thing I wrote

Even though everybody, (including me...) Were worn out. We still had things to do. We brought everyone alive (that hasn't turned) in the seventh floor to the fourth.

[*ding

Welcome to the seventh floor, we have a total of ten.]

The moment we arrived, Rowan rushed to see Mia. I feel like there's something important that goes on at this point of.... no... ...

I ran to where Rowan went and saw him asking other people: "where is Mia?"

"Her face suddenly turned black like that man's" she spoke while pointing at Dean, "and went into our boss's office. She won't come out no matter how we talk to her..."

No...no... this... this is the scene where...

Rowan ran to the office, clearly panicking. He yelled louder as he banged on the door. "Mia! Mia? Are you in there? Open it, it's me-"

The door opened, showing Mia behind it.... covering her face....

Rowan immediately grabbed Mia, "what is it? Is something wrong?" His voice were gentle but he was shaking.

Mia slowly moved her hands... showing half of her face turning black... not fast, but still turning visible to the eye.

Noah and Dean entered the room after hearing Rowan's yelling. Mia were now visibly loosing control "bro¥,!]£th|£]+•er..."

"No... Mia... it'll be fine... I'll be... fi.." Rowan couldn't continue his words. He slowly stood up, carrying Mia. I woke up from the urgency on stopping him, I knew... what he would do next.

"Rowan-!" I was too late, he opened the window and jumped out.

I could've saved him, I knew it would happen... because... I wrote it for those two to have a ending like that... I..... I was jerked back when Noah grabbed me by my collar, he whispered, "we have to close the window." Shaking his head.

Rowan was someone Noah trusted, thought of as a friend... but I made him go through again and again, unable to save Rowan... seeing it right in front of him... and for making him go through that, the only ending I gave him was.... I made up my mind.

We all silently walked to the elevator.

[*ding

Welcome to the sixth floor, we have a total guest of four.] total guest of four... it feels like the elevator was giving us a blow, the heavy atmosphere only getting heavier.

The sixth floor were empty, only a black screens that were supposed to show the hall. Now connected to a cctv that are unable to film anything.

Nobody were here, not even the monsters. There were only a note at the desk: 'I'm going to check on the null floor.' The note seems to be old. That was when a loud notification sounded from Noah's pocket.

[you are the only one I could reach, we will send people to rescue you-] the connection was slowly getting cut off. Before it did, Noah sent one text 'we have someone that didn't fully turn into a monster, possibly immune.'

[someone with immunity? .... I see, we will send some people quickly as possible.]

The connection were now fully cut off.

"Before we go." Noah walked over to where the screens are, grabbing a microphone that was on one of the desk, ["we have gotten in contact with the people outside, they will send people to rescue us very soon"] Noah gave everyone that listens to the announcement their last hope, as he walked out.
