Chương 8: (ch~8)
Lucas pov~
The movie was over at last. I looked at Kai, he was all ready asleep.. and MAYA she was too. She held my arm like a little kid. She looked as cute as always even while sleeping...
I picked her, went to her room and put her on the bed carefully making sure she doesn't wake up. She was sleeping on the bed while I tried to keep all my temptations to kiss her cherry lips.
I touched them slowly. They felt soft. Then I looked at her. She is beautiful. I tilted my head downwards towards her... and was going too... when suddenly I backed up as I heard someone.
"Lucs what you doin here?" Kai said while rubbing his tired eyes.
"Well I came to drop Maya to her room... she must be tired" I said.. in a little tensed voice.
"I see... I'll be heading back to my room then.. goodnight." Kai said.
I looked back at her and told my self to snap out of it... maybe it's just the liquor.
I'm back in my room now, laying in on of the sides of the bed thinking. Maya.. I met her first on my first grade. I was treated like an outcast as I am an American~asian.
But the only person who took care of me talked to me... was her. I really grew found of her... like a friend ofcourse. But then she was suddenly gone one day. It turned out there was some family emergency.
I thought I'll never see her again. But we met again.. after 6 years. She was back living with her grandma now.
When I heard she was back ..there was this odd feeling inside me... I wanted to talk to her. ...hug her tight in my arms and never let her go again..
But I couldn't. Cause by that time I was really popular in both wrong and right ways. And there was this incident where I once slept with one of the girls at school and she claimed to be my gf... I didn't really cared.. but she was bullied brutally.
I tried to help but that made it worse. At last she had to leave both school and the town. I didn't want Maya to go through all that and suffer... so I kept my distance from her.
I didn't make a mistake.... right?...
