Zeph cried rivers of tears and the criminal underbelly of Los Diablos cried out in joy the moment that the Los Diablos Nephilim Enforcement Academy and HQ had to the aerial reconnaissance drone codenamed Dragonfly back to Joint Base Jerrico. The thing was the best damn tool there was for tracking down all sorts of chemical compounds.

The military was interested in tracking down chemical weapons, nuclear radiation, and explosive materials, but with some rather easy to make changes to the list of chemicals on the search list hunting down Mod pills and other controlled substances was easier than getting the warrants necessary to scan the whole city.

Zeph did not even ask for approval to scan the entirety of the Los Diablos Docks, as until he said otherwise it was a crime scene and he had complete jurisdictional authority. All he did was save his officers and the PD a few days of leg work checking out each and every inch of the docks they had under lockdown.
