"Where the hell are these people??!" asked Dians in an irritated tone, he was sure that he had passed this particular wooden door several times now.
You couldn't even imagine how much he hated how huge this ship was, he really hoped that his team had found them already, because it was clear that he was having no luck here.
"We have to turn back, we seemed to have been going around in a circle" said Dians as he turned back expecting to see Natasha and Dom behind him but to his sheer surprise they were nowhere to be found.
"Shoot!!" he said in an angry tone, where the heck could they have gone too?? How long had they been gone, how did he not even notice that they were gone, how long was he walking around in a circle like a headless chicken alone??!
Dians was sure that Natasha was the one who decided to leave on her own, and that following husband of hers followed in suite.
Dians cursed, if he was lost, there was no way that they would stand a chance against hardened criminals he had to go and look for them.
Dians decided to retrace his steps and go back the way he had came, hoping he would find those two disobedient pair who left him all alone when he gave stern orders that they follow him and him alone.
…
"This ship is too big" said Natasha as she didn't want to say that she was tired of walking, but this place was like a maze, a nicely decorated maze.
"I know, that's why I bought it in the first place" replied Dom as he narrowed his eyes seeing a light on in an open room at the end of the hall which caused his steps to be slowed down as Natasha caught sight of it and did the same.
"Where the heck is that Romanoff?? How could he just lie to me and leave me here??" asked the man in annoyance as he leaned against the crate.
There was no way he would be able to carry the crate to the van himself, it was just too heavy and he was worried that Romanoff didn't come back. He was just too deep in his thoughts that he did not notice a pair of shadows at the door.
"There's someone in there a man, and I see a large crate" said Dom as he whispered into Natasha's ear relaying what he had saw in the room when he peeked through quickly.
"That must be it" replied Natasha as they had wasted too much time, and as for her, she had no more time to waste so she proceeded to walk to the door when Dom stopped her and pulled her hand back.
"Where are you going?" he asked in worry.
"To get the man where else do you think I am going?" replied Natasha as she pulled her hand away from him.
"It's too dangerous what if he is armed, why don't we wait for Agent Dians here?" asked Dom.
"That idiot still probably doesn't know that we are gone yet, and I want to get this over with" replied Natasha as she walked to the door and Dom tried to stop her when the man was suddenly alerted of their presence.
"What the hell what are you two doing here??!" asked the man in a panic as he quickly scurried to get his gun out of his pocket when Natasha beat him to it by pulling out her gun from her pocked.
"Down on the ground now, don't make me repeat myself" she said sternly as the man panicked even more and dropped down.
"You brought your gun??!" asked Dom in disbelief.
"Of course I did" she replied as she walked to the man.
"And you had it in your pocket all this time?!" asked Dom as Natasha walked to the man on thee ground and got his gun, removed the bullets and pinned his arms behind his back.
"Where else did you see me pull it from?" replied Natasha as Dom could not believe that she had a gun in her pocket all this time, what if she had accidentally shot it in there.
Natasha knew why Dom was making a big deal out of this, but she wouldn't tell him that her gun wasn't loaded, she wasn't that dumb, anything could happen, meanwhile the guy on the ground was already cowering in fear.
"Are you alone?" asked Natasha to the man as she put her gun to his ear, she had no time for dilly dallying she wanted answers quick, and to her luck the man complied.
"N…No I am not alone, please don't shoot me" he replied as he shivered.
"Who are you with?" asked Natasha.
"My superior" he replied.
"Where is he?" asked Natasha.
"I don't know… he left over 10 minutes ago, he told me that he would come back but he's not back yet" he replied.
"In which direction did he go?" asked Natasha.
"Right" replied the man as Natasha knew that they had come from the left and they didn't cross paths with anyone at all, so it would be possible that they could find him if they went right.
"Thank you for being so nice" said Natasha as she knocked him out with the handle of her gun.
"Did you really have to knock him out?" asked Dom as he looked at Natasha in disbelief.
"Do you see any rope anywhere?" she replied as she stood up and he pointed to a huge rope in the corner.
"Not important we need to find his superior" said Natasha.
"Aha there you both are!! What part of follow me do you not understand…" said Dians as his voice trailed off when he saw an unconscious man lying on the ground and Natasha with a gun in her hand which she neatly tucked away into her pocket.
"No time for your unnecessary scolding, this guy said that his superior left him here and went in the right direction, so come on" said Natasha as she walked out the door.
"Don't you think that he will wake up?" asked Dom as he followed after her.
"He should be out cold for 20 minutes" replied Natasha as they left Dians who stared at them and then back at the man.
"What sort of terror wife and compliant husband are these??!" he asked in confusion as he quickly rushed after them, he was still the one in charge here not them.
…
Romanoff walked through the halls silently, he was sure that he would be out of here soon, and once he was, he would deal with Igor that slimy rat, whom he was certain that he was still here.
Romanoff felt his phone vibrate in his pocket as he picked it up and kept on walking, he couldn't hear anything or anyone, which made him be less watchful only a little bit.
Romanoff sighed in irritation when he read a text that Jeanie sent him, she was asking why he wasn't home yet.
"Because of idiots my girl, idiots" replied Romanoff as he murmured to himself.
"I am sorry Jeanie, this is taking longer than expected, do not wait for me, go to sleep, goodnight and sweet dreams, see you in the morning" replied Romanoff as he sent her the text and turned to the right quickly approaching the exit.
"I hear footsteps coming" said Dom as he and Natasha stopped walking right at the corner.
"Okay, alright, move it, I'm the expert here" said Dians as he had finally had enough of trailing behind the two of them.
Dians stepped forward quickly as Natasha looked at him, clearly telling him with her eyes that no one obviously thought otherwise.
"Quiet and don't move" said Dians as he whispered and Natasha and Dom stepped back.
Romanoff smiled as he read Jeanie's sweet reply to his message which completely made him put his guard down, resulting in him not realizing that there were people watching him as he approached the exit.
"Freeze! Your hands up in the air where I can see them FBI" said Dians in a rushed tone as he pointed his gun at Romanoff who cursed silently weighing his options.
He could have easily brought out his gun and killed the man right here, but considering that he was FBI he could not be alone.
Romanoff thought carefully, if they had found him, they must have found his young partner as well, so his best option would be to comply for now.
Romanoff raised his hands up in the air, while still folding his phone in one.
"That's it turn around slowly and don't try anything funny, you try and I will shoot" said Dians as Romanoff did as he was told, slowly turning around as he came face to face with the person he least expected to see here.
