Chương 393: Help you
"So how is everything at the office Chloe?" asked Natasha as she spoke to Chloe over the phone as she was searching some things on her laptop.
"Ahhh well everything is fine, the same as always" said Chloe.
"is that good or bad?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Good for sure, only a little bit boring" said Chloe as she laughed and Natasha laughed.
"I can imagine" said Natasha, she barely spent days at the office from morning till night, she could tell that it could get very boring at times.
"I'm not going to be able to come to the office today, I have a meeting to catch in the evening" said Natasha.
"Oh that's fine Natasha, I will send you the usual files that you request" said Chloe.
"Thank you Chloe, and how are the tomatoes in the greenhouse doing?" asked Natasha as Alfred set down a tray of tea for her as she thanked him as he smiled as he left her office.
"Ahh well they are doing great, I just checked on them this morning, and they look wonderful, they should be ripe soon" said Chloe with a smile.
"That's great news" said Natasha with a smile, they had spent a lot of money on those tomatoes, and they wanted nothing but perfect crops.
"Oh and before I forget, the cabinets and shelves have been set up at the store already" said Chloe.
"So quickly?" asked Natasha.
"I know right? I was surprised to hear that this morning as well, but I guess the faster the better" said Chloe with a smile.
"That I agree with" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Natasha I am going to have to close early today" said Chloe.
"Oh that's alright, how early?" asked Natasha.
"At about 4pm" said Chloe.
"That's fine, you can close at 4pm, is anything the matter?" asked Natasha.
"No nothing Is the matter, it's just that I promised Ethan I would spend more time with him, and I did realize that I was spending too much time at work" said Chloe.
"Oh that's perfectly fine Chloe, you know that if you wish to, you can work from home, you don't have to go to the office every single day" said Natasha.
"I know that Natasha, but I prefer to be over there to keep an eye on things" said Chloe.
"Besides, I love having somewhere to go every day, just to get out of the house" said Chloe.
"I don't want to switch completely to working from home just yet" said Chloe.
"That's perfectly fine Chloe, I trust you, you can close as early as you want" said Natasha with a smile, there was no one she trusted better in this than Chloe, she really proved herself, and Natasha was happy with allowing her do anything that made her happy.
"Thanks Natasha, you are the best boss ever" said Chloe as she laughed and Natasha laughed.
"I do try" said Natasha as she laughed as well.
"I have to go now Natasha, take care" said Chloe with a smile.
"You too Chloe" said Natasha with a smile as Chloe ended the call and Natasha put her phone down on her desk, she opened the drawer and brought out a file as she opened it as she seemed to be thinking to herself.

"Ethan I'm home" said Chloe as she walked through the front door and she closed it behind her.
"Why are you home so early?" asked Ethan as he peeked through the kitchen door as Chloe shook her head.
"I came home early because I promised you I would, are you happy to see me?" asked Chloe with a smile.
"Partially" replied Ethan as he did not come out of the kitchen.
"Have you had lunch?" asked Chloe as Ethan nodded.
"Did you do your homework?" asked Chloe.
"I did half of it" said Ethan.
"Why half?" asked Chloe with a frown.
"Because I didn't understand the second part I need help with It and Betty went home early today" said Ethan.
"Alright let me go change and I will help you" said Chloe as Ethan nodded and she turned around to go get changed when suddenly she realized something and she turned to face Ethan.
"Ethan" called Chloe as she looked at his head that was still peeking through the open kitchen door.
"Yes" replied Ethan.
"What are you doing in the kitchen?" asked Chloe.
"Nothing" replied Ethan as Chloe narrowed her eyes at him.
"What did you do Ethan?" asked Chloe.
"Nothing" replied Ethan as now Chloe was even more suspicious of him as she did not even ask him anymore questions as she walked straight into the kitchen as she was shocked by what she saw.
"Ethan!! What happened in here??" asked Chloe as she demanded an explanation now, the kitchen was a complete mess with mud everywhere, as well as flour, and Pluto was busy running around in a circle in the middle of the mess.
"I can explain" said Ethan.
"Go on" said Chloe as she sighed.
"I took Pluto for a walk and then I wanted to feed her, and she tipped over the flour and caused this mess" said Ethan ass Pluto's white fur was totally covered in dirty brown mud.
"And the mud?" asked Chloe.
"She ran through the sprinklers in the garden" said Ethan as Chloe sighed.
"Before or after this mess?" asked Chloe.
"In between, I left the door open and she ran out and ran back in" said Ethan.
"Alright, you go give her a bath, I want her sparkling, while I clean here" said Chloe as Ethan nodded and he carried the muddy Pluto out of the kitchen as Chloe sighed, looking at this horrible mess that she had to clean.
"And he wonders why I never wanted a dog in the first place" said Chloe to herself as she sighed and got the mop while shaking her head.

Chloe sat down at her laptop as she typed and Ethan walked into the room.
"Done with your homework?" asked Chloe as she kept her eyes focused on what she was doing.
"Yes" replied Ethan.
"Good, what do you want?" asked Chloe.
"Can I have some cookies?" asked Ethan.
"Sure, you can have only a few" said Chloe.
"Thank you mom" said Ethan as he walked out of the room as a few minutes later Pluto walked into the room as she walked to Chloe's feet as sat on top of them, she liked doing that and Chloe did not know why.
"You tired girl?" asked Chloe as she scratched Pluto's head as Pluto refused to move from her spot.
"Neil" called Chloe.
"Yes" replied Neil as he waked into the room.
"Please go put Pluto in her bed" said Chloe as Neil looked at her and he laughed as he carried Pluto.
"She sure does love laying on your feet" said Neil.
"Because they are very pretty now take her to bed" said Chloe as she was really busy, she had this urgent assignment to finish.
"Got it" said Neil.
"And tuck Ethan in, it's late" said Chloe as Neil nodded and he left the room as Chloe focused on her assignment.

Chloe yawned as she continued typing and she looked at the time, It was 9:30pm.
Clove kept her eyes on her laptop as she heard the door to the room open as she turned to see Ethan walking into the room as he rubbed his eyes and his hair was all ruffled and messy.
"What are you doing here Ethan? It's past your bedtime" said Chloe in tiredness as she continued typing.
"I can't sleep" said Ethan as he continued to rub his eyes.
"Why?" asked Chloe.
"I had a nightmare" said Ethan.
"Oh Ethan, how old are you? Five? Go to your father" said Chloe.
"He Is busy" said Ethan.
"And I am busy over here as well, I have an assignment due, I can't deal with this right now" said Chloe as Ethan ignored her and he pushed her chair out and climbed on her lap and rested his head on her chest.
"Ethan I don't have time for this, go to your room and sleep" said Chloe as Ethan closed his eyes and Chloe sighed as she continued typing.

"Honey have you seen Ethan?" asked Neil as he walked into the room and Chloe shushed him.
"He's finally asleep, don't wake him up" said Chloe with red eyes as she yawned and Neil chuckled lightly as he walked to Chloe and carried the sleeping Ethan.
"Come on Champ" said Neil as Ethan hugged his neck and they left the room as Neil returned a few moments later.
"Your son is a big baby" said Chloe as Neil laughed.
"Genes are strong" said Neil.
"Good that you know" said Chloe as she continued typing.
"It's late Cloe, come to bed" said Neil as Chloe yawned and shook her head.
"I need to finish this first" said Chloe.
"Chloe" called Neil.
"An hour Chloe, an hour, then come to bed, you know how cranky you get when you stay up late" said Neil as Chloe scoffed and he gave her a kiss on the forehead and he left the room.

Chloe yawned as she rubbed her eyes she was finally done. Chloe looked at the time, it was 11pm, she saved her assignment and shut down her laptop. She stood up switched off all the lights and walked up the stairs and into the bedroom where Neil was already sleeping.
Chloe put her phone on her bedside table and she climbed into bed and yawned as Neil put his hand over her.
"I thought you were sleeping?" asked Chloe with a yawn.
"I was waiting for you" replied Neil as Chloe smiled and she hugged him.
"Goodnight" said Neil with a smile as he gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"Goodnight" said Chloe with a smile as she closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep when suddenly her phone rang.
"*Ughhh*" said Chloe as she groaned and Neil let go of her as she got her phone and answered her call.
"What??" asked Chloe in annoyance as the person on the other line spoke.
"What???!!!" asked Chloe in utter shock as she got out of bed quickly.
