Chương 316: Upset
Natasha was working on her laptop in her office, when she decided to take a break and her phone rang as she picked her phone up from the desk and she scoffed when she saw who was calling her as she declined the call.
"Traitor!" said Natasha as she scoffed, Pete was a traitor, and she did not talk to traitors, she was annoyed, couldn't he take the hint that she didn't want to talk to him? This had to have been the nineteenth time that he had called her this morning alone, and every time she didn't accept his call, she was just so angry at him.
"I can't trust you Pete, not this time" said Natasha to herself and her phone rang again, it just annoyed her so much that out of anger she picked up the call.
"Nat…" said Pete as he was quickly cut off by Natasha.
"You traitor!, you are a traitor Pete, a traitor!" came Natasha angry voice from the other side of the line as Pete sighed, he knew that she would behave like this, but did he really have any other choice?
"Nat, listen, hear me out okay? Just for a moment okay?" asked Pete as he spoke calmly.
"No, I can't listen to you, I don't trust you at all Pete" said Natasha.
"I thought that you were my friend? But then you go ahead and stab me in the back!" said Natasha.
"I thought that we made a deal that you won't tell anyone that I was arrested" said Natasha.
"But what's the first thing you do? You go tattling off to him, how unfair are you?? Your broke my trust, if you were the one who asked me to keep your secret, I would never tell anyone, some friend you are!" said Natasha.
"Nat, I know how you feel right now, but you have to let me speak, I beg you, don't be like this" said Pete.
"No Pete, you should have thought of what would happen when you betrayed my trust, you are a horrible person, so horrible, to think that I even considered you my friend, who always had my back" said Natasha.
"I am Nat, and I do have your back, you know that Nat, always" said Pete.
"Well I can't believe you, with what you did, it is clear that you don't" said Natasha.
"Nat please…" said Pete as he was cut off.
"Don't you dare Nat me" said Natasha.
"I am never going to forgive you for this, never, so don't call me, don't text me, don't try to see me, because Pete, I can never trust you again never" said Natasha as she hung up on him and she angrily placed her phone on her desk.
Pete sighed as he looked at his phone, Natasha rarely got angry, and when she did, she exploded, especially if it was for a good reason, he had to admit that he did betray her a bit, but it was for a good cause a very good reason.
"Traitor!, I can't take this, I trusted you, I thought you were on my side, but just like everyone else, you are on his side, it's always him, him, him" said Natasha as she scoffed and she focused on her laptop screen as she continued to murmur under her breath.
Joy smiled happily as she opened the door and she walked into her mother's office with a big smile on her face.
"Mommy" called Joy as she walked to Natasha's desk and Natasha looked at her as she controlled her emotions and she smiled.
"Hello my baby" said Natasha as she smiled and Joy smiled.
"Mommy, what's wrong?" asked Joy.
"What do you mean my baby?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Mommy you look upset" said Joy.
"Do I?" asked Natasha as she did not know that it was that obvious to see.
"Mhmm yes mommy, you do, who made you upset?" asked Joy as she tried to climb onto Natasha's lap and Natasha carried her to sit on her lap.
"Was it daddy that made you upset mommy?" asked Joy as Natasha sighed, her precious angel really cared about her.
"What would you do if it was your daddy who made me upset?" asked Natasha out of curiosity.
"Well I will ask him not to make you upset anymore mommy" said Joy.
"Oh my precious angel you are so sweet" said Natasha as she smiled and she gave Joy many kisses as Joy giggled.
"No my baby, you daddy didn't make me upset, it was actually your uncle Pete who did" said Natasha as she sighed.
"What did he do to make you so upset mommy?" asked Joy.
"Well he reported me to your daddy, can you imagine that??! He told him what he was not supposed to tell him about me, he broke my trust, and that's why I am angry at him" said Natasha as Joy nodded.
"Mommy, was what Uncle Pete said about you to daddy the truth?" asked Joy as Natasha was surprised.
"Well yes it was the truth, but he should not have told your daddy anything at all" said Natasha.
"Mommy don't be upset with Uncle Pete, he only told daddy the truth" said Joy as Natasha looked at her and she sighed.
"Mommy you always say that it is best to tell the truth, even if you will get in trouble, but the truth is the best, so if Uncle Pete told daddy the truth, then you should not be upset with him, because it is the truth" said Joy as Natasha could not help but feel lectured right now, she was being lectured by her own daughter, how funny was that?
"Oh my baby, look at you, being a little philosopher" said Natasha as she tickled Joy and Joy giggled.
"Mommy what's a philosopher?" asked Joy as she giggled.
"Well baby, I will explain It to you later" said Natasha as she laughed and Joy nodded.
"Mommy don't be upset with uncle Pete, or daddy" said Joy as she smiled and Natasha smiled at her.
"Oh baby, I don't know whether to be upset that you are defending him or be proud that you are actually right, but fine, alright, I won't be upset anymore" said Natasha as she smiled and Joy smiled at her.
"Well enough about me baby, are you ready to go back to school next Monday?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Yes mommy, I am very happy, I can't wait to see Clarita, and Leon and Prince, they are my friends" said Joy as she smiled and Natasha smiled at her.
"Oh I can't wait as well, I am sure that they will be excited to see you after a long break" said Natasha as she smiled and Joy smiled.
"Mommy can I go and have some cookies that Grandma sent over?" asked Joy as she smiled.
"Is that why you came to see me baby?" asked Natasha as Joy nodded and she laughed.
"Oh so you came to see me to ask permission to eat cookies? You don't miss me?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"No mommy, I miss you very much, so I came to see you and also ask for cookies" said Joy as she giggled.
"Well alright my angel, you can go and have some cookies" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Thank you mommy" said Joy as she gave Natasha a kiss on the cheek and Natasha smiled at her as Joy climbed off her lap and ran out the door as Natasha laughed, children would be children, whatever worried adults did not worry them at all.
Natasha sighed as she picked up her phone, her baby was right in every way.

"Boss, you don't look so good, what's the matter?" asked Morales as he looked at Pete.
"Well my best friend is upset with me and wants to cut off all ties" said Pete as he sighed.
"Ahh… I see women troubles, once women are angry, you can't reason with them" said Morales.
"Isn't that the truth" said Pete as he sighed and his phone rang as he quickly picked it up and he was surprised when he saw that it was Natasha calling.
"It is her?" asked Morales as Pete nodded.
"Well good luck boss, you will need it" said Morales as he walked out of Pete's office and Pete quickly answered Natasha's call as he waited for her to speak first.
"You better thank your stars that my baby convinced me not to be upset with you" said Natasha as Pete sighed in relief, she sounded calmer now.
"Oh I really thank them, I knew that my little niece always has my back" said Pete as he smiled and Natasha scoffed at him as they were both quiet.
"Nat, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel betrayed" said Pete as Natasha sighed.
"Why did you tell him Pete? Tell me why" said Natasha.
"To protect you Nat, I was worried, I am worried about you" said Pete.
"I know you, and you won't stop, I don't want you to be in contact with that hardened criminal, and you won't listen to me" said Pete.
"So I told Dominic, hoping that he would be able to change your mind, since you always listen to him" said Pete.
"Well that was before Pete, I don't listen to him anymore, we ended up having a big fight, and it was mostly your fault, you shouldn't have told him anything" said Natasha as she scoffed.
"I know, but I am worried about you Nat, I don't want you to get into any more trouble, and if I can't stop that, at least he can try to" said Pete.
"Oh I see, so now you run off telling that man everything about me?" asked Natasha.
"No Nat, but I know when I need to call for backup" said Pete.
"Oh so I am like one of your cases now?" asked Natasha.
"Nat, please" said Pete.
"Look Pete, I was not going to try to contact Romanoff at all, I know better than that" said Natasha.
"Are you sure?" asked Pete.
"I am very sure, and I know that you worry about me, but I can take care of myself, just don't go reporting me to that man, I prefer my affairs to remain private thank you very much" said Natasha.
"It's a deal Nat, I promise you, I won't ever betray you again" said Pete as he smiled.
"Yeah, yeah Pete, just watch it, I still haven't forgiven you completely yet" said Natasha.
"Alright Nat, as long as I have part of your forgiveness" said Pete as he smiled and Natasha scoffed.
"Whatever, I know that you are busy, so I will talk to you later" said Natasha.
"Bye Nat" said Pete as Natasha smiled and she ended the call as she sighed and she shook her head, how could she stay angry at Pete for a long time?

"Joy don't eat too many cookies before you get a tummy ache" said Alfred as he smiled at Joy and Joy nodded with her mouth full of cookies as he laughed and Alfred walked out the kitchen when he heard his phone ring as he picked up the call.
"Hello Young master, what can I do for you?" asked Alfred with a smile.
"Alfred, is Natasha at home right now?" asked Dom.
"Yes Young Master, she Is" said Alfred as he nodded.
"Where is she now?" asked Dom.
"In her office" said Alfred.
"Did she go out this morning?" asked Dom.
"No Young Master, she went out training with Benjamin earlier, and then she had breakfast, and she went to work in her office" said Alfred.
"I see Alfred, thank you" said Dom.
"You are welcome Young master, is something the matter?" asked Alfred.
"No Alfred, everything is alright" said Dom.
"I will come home for lunch today" said Dom.
"Alright Young master" said Alfred as Dom smiled and he ended the call.
