"Daddy" called Natasha as she looked at her father.
"Yes my Tasha?" asked Larry as he smiled and he looked down at Natasha as he opened the door to their house.
"Daddy, are you done working now??" asked Natasha as she looked at him very cutely and innocently.
"Yes I am done working now my Tasha, so I have all the time for you now" said Larry as he smiled.
"Yayyyy" said Natasha as she celebrated and she jumped into their house and Larry laughed, his little girl was always so playful, an character she did not obviously get from him.
"My Tasha, guess who's home?" asked Larry as he looked down at Natasha and he smiled after e had closed the door behind them.
"Mommy??!!" asked Natasha with wide eyes as she hoped that she was right.
"Yes my Tasha, she came back home a few minutes ago" said Larry as he smiled and he saw the surprise on Natasha's face.
"Can I go and see her daddy??" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Of course you can, she is in the kitchen" said Larry as he smiled and in that moment his phone rang as it was in his pocket and before he could turn to look at Natasha, she had already run to the kitchen, which made him laugh and shake his head as he picked up the call.
"Hello" he said as he answered the call.
…
"Take these my boy, for your mother" said Mary as she smiled and she gave Dom a box of cookies.
"Thank you Grandmother" said Dom as he smiled.
"You are welcome my boy, where is my kiss?" asked Mary as she smiled.
"Thank you" said Dom as Mary bent down and he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek which made her smile.
"That is more like it" said Mary as he smiled and Dom laughed, his Grandmother was the sweetest person ever, well while his Grandfather was… well he was the exact opposite, he truly wondered how they lived together in harmony all these years??
"Bye Dom, see you later" said Michael as he smiled and he waved at Dom.
"Bye Michael, see you" said Dom as he waved back at Michael.
"B..Y..e Dom" said Charlie as he was munching on cookies, there was no wonder why he was chubby.
"Charlie, what have I told you about talking with your mouth full?" asked Mary as she turned to look at Charlie and she smiled.
"It's bad manners" said Charlie as he swallowed and he bowed his head in sadness, he did not like with when Grandmother was upset with him, even though she always still had her calm gentle voice.
"Exactly, so don't do it again alright my boy?" asked Mary as she smiled.
"Yes Grandmother" said Charlie as he nodded his head and Mary smiled, children just needed some love and responsibility, and they would turn out rather well, even though her son would beg to differ, seeing as she and her husband both raised him respectively their own ways.
"Bye Zavi" said Dom as he smiled.
"Bye" said Zavi as she replied.
"My love, would you please go with Dom to his house and give his mother the blanket I knitted?" asked Mary as she looked at Zavi and she smiled.
"Okay Grandmother" said Zavi as he replied.
"Thank you my love" said Mary as she smiled and she gave Zavi a pink box to hold.
"You should get going now my boy, your father must be home now" said Mary as she smiled.
"Okay Grandmother, see you" said Dom as he smiled.
"See you my boy" said Mary as she smiled and she opened the front door for Zavi and Dom to pass through as she closed the door behind them.
"Now, who wants macaroni and cheese for dinner?" asked Mary as she turned to look at Charlie and Michael.
"Ooh I do, I do" said Charlie as he raised his hand and he smiled.
"Is there anything you don't always want" said Michael as he looked a Charlie and he shook his head as Charlie ignored him, could you blame him? Grandmother was the best cook ever, that was a stated fact in their house.
"And what about you Mikey?" asked Mary as she laughed and she looked at Michael.
"Yes Grandmother, I want macaroni and cheese for dinner" said Michael as he smiled.
"Alright Mikey, Macaroni and cheese it is, but in the meantime you can eat some cookies that have cooled down, just don't eat too much and spoil your appetite" said Mary as she smiled.
"Tell that to Charlie" said Michael as he shook his head and Mary laughed and she walked and she picked Charlie's chubby cheeks as she laughed.
"I love it when you eat my dear, when Ernest was growing up, he never really liked to eat, so I like it when you do" said Mary as she smiled and she walked to the Kitchen to get started on dinner, her husband would be back home soon.
"You hear that, Grandmother loves it when I eat" said Charlie as he turned to look at Michael and he looked very smug.
"Mhmm, just don't ask us why you don't get the top bunk" said Michael as he smiled.
"Whatever" said Charlie.
"I wonder why Grandmother chose Zavi to go along with Dom?? It isn't fair, we are here too" said Charlie.
"Well you know how Zavi is, maybe Grandmother wants to get him in a good mood, he frowns too much" said Michael as he frowned.
"Tell me about it, he is as cold as ice" said Charlie as she shivered.
"Anyway, there is a plate of cookies calling my name" said Charlie as he chuckled in happiness and he walked away.
"Hey, my name is also there too" said Michael as he ran after Charlie, because he knew if he let him be, he cookies would be all gone before he could call out his name.
…
"*Sigh*, What a day" said Ernest as he opened the front door and he sighed as he shook his head and he closed the front door behind him as he entered the house.
"Who left their shoes here??" asked Ernest in annoyance as he looked down and he almost tripped on a pair of shoes.
"Charlie, how many times have I told you to always put your shoes in the right place??" asked Ernest as he shouted and he sighed as he picked up the pair of shoes and he shook his head and he walked and placed the shoes in a cupboard.
"Can this house not look like a mess for once??" asked Ernest as he sighed, the boys were nowhere in sight, and the smell of cookies lingered in the house, which meant that Mary had spoilt them once again.
"Oh Ernie, you are back already" said Mary as she walked out of the kitchen and she smiled.
"How was the meeting?" she asked as she smiled and she gave him a kiss on the cheek as she took his briefcase from him.
"Horrible, all these people want is money, money and more money" said Ernest as he sighed.
"It doesn't seem like you had a good day" said Mary as she smiled at him.
"I didn't" said Ernest as he sighed.
"Well my love, go sit down and relax, dinner will be ready soon" said Mary as she smiled and Ernest smiled at her, he could not remain in a bad mood when she was always so cheerful, like a bright ray of light that never went dim.
"You know I like it when you call me my love" said Ernest as he smiled.
"Well of course I call you my love, because you are my love" said Mary as she smiled.
"And you are mine too" said Ernest as he smiled.
"How was your day?" asked Ernest as he smiled.
"It was great, that lovely little girl Natasha, the one you told me about, came over with Dominic, and she really is lovely and polite" said Mary as she smiled.
"Yes, she really is" said Ernest as he smiled.
"Where are the boys?" asked Ernest.
"They are in their room, I asked them to wash up before dinner" said Mary as she smiled.
"Alright then, I will go to them, they all need to separately read the newspaper column for me, well because quite frankly Charlie's way of pronunciation scares me, he called commercial as commemecial" said Ernest as he shook his head and he sighed as Mary laughed.
"Alright my love, just don't scare them too much" said Mary as she laughed and she walked away as she put Ernest's briefcase away and she made her way to the kitchen and Ernest smiled as he walked away to find the boys in their room, he just hoped that this time Charlie would attempt to sound out the syllables one by one.
