"What happened?"

Mariano and Love burst into the door, ready to fight whatever made Sabine screaming.

But when they entered the room, there was no enemy. It was just Sabine screaming at Iris who seemed to be unconscious on the couch.

"What is it?"

"Marietta, you have to…I mean…" she stammered, her eyes were full of confusion. She turned to Mariano who was standing in full alert next to his sire, "leave us."

Mariano creased his brows and looked at Love.

"Wait for me outside," she said without blinking. She could sense the urgency of Sabine's eyes.

"But—"

"Wait outside."

Mariano lowered his head, took a quick look at Iris and then Love before he turned around to wait outside.

When the door clicked shut behind him, Love gave Sabine a hard look.

"Tell me what is it."

Sabine dropped her shoulders feeling exhausted. She stepped back and took an armchair and sat down.
