ZEKE POV

It had been a few months since I started the Sealing lessons. I was slowly learning the theory and the mechanisms behind this beautiful yet deadly art. The closest thing I could use to compare sealing arts would be computer programming.

Much like computer programming in my previous life, to make a Seal you needed to satisfy certain terms and conditions. Even if there was a single mistake in the sealing matrix the seal would not activate meaning you would have to find the error and fix it for it to work.

However, if it were that easy then there would have been a seal for everything and anything. Sometimes the seal might be as simple as drawing a single kanji character like the light seal. Other times the seal might be as big as a fantasy novel all compressed down to look like a pattern. This means that sometimes just changing a kanji character would be enough to make a seal work while at other times you might need to change the entire matrix to make it work.

Still having my barrier ability was a literal god sent. It meant that any Seal I make would work a hundred percent of the time as long as I drew it correctly. Yubari sensei even went as far as to call me a prodigy in the arts of sealing since I had yet to make a seal that didn't work. Meanwhile, there was Asuka chan who was undoubtedly in a league of her own for sure but even she still had to deal with explosions to her face from time to time.

It was memories like these that brought a smile to my face. Something which I have been doing less and less ever since I figured out what was in store for the future of the whirlpool village.

During the last few months, I had already come to terms that I could not save every single person in this village from its impending doom but I wanted to at least give them a chance to live however slim it might be.

No matter how loose my morals might be it didn't sit right with me that I do nothing about it. It was almost akin to virtually sentencing almost everyone in the village to their deaths. The thought itself left a bitter taste in my mouth.

*SIGH*

' I will try to discuss this with the kage . Whether he chooses to heed my warning or not didn't matter to me. At least I could say I tried.' I thought to myself.

I just hoped that it would be more successful than the times I asked my parents to move somewhere else.

*KNOCK*

" come in " came the voice of kage from inside the room as the door glowed before opening on its own.

" That was new. Why didn't you do that last time I came here? " I asked him before using my observation haki. It seems like there is no anbus hiding this time.

' He must have known that I was coming and sent them away' I thought to myself.

" I'm just trying something new"

"HAHAHHAHAH"

" Im sure soon you would be making seals of your own in no time. Your teacher speaks very highly about your sealing skill " The Old geezer said with a smile on his face.

' Of course he is getting daily updates.' I thought to myself.

" So why have you come to meet me today? Knowing what you are like. There must be something bothering you. " The kage asked as he sat down on his chair.

' Knowing what you are like?? How long have you been watching me?? I have only met you once for Pete's sake' I thought to myself as I felt my left eye twitching involuntarily.

" Yeah. There is something that is bothering me. Sato sensei said something about other villages wanting to attack us. Is this true? " I asked him as I casually threw Sato sensei under the bus.

' Sorry sensei but this whole thing is your fault. You should have put stronger barriers.If you had I wouldn't be in this mess right now.' I thought to myself as I offered a silent prayer to Mr Sato.

" Ah. That is true but don't worry. We are the Uzumaki clan. No one would dare to attack us as long as our alliance with Konoha remains strong." He said to me with a reassuring smile on his face.

' Then why was the fucking village destroyed in the future leaving behind just a handful of Uzumaki's alive in the future' I screamed to myself internally.

' I can't tell him I can fucking see the future.'

' No.'

' That is one of my biggest trump cards. I can't reveal that to just anyone so casually' I thought to myself as I brainstormed what I could possibly say to him to change his mind.

" Yes. But what if all of them attacked at once and there was no one to help us? It's not like the leaf could do anything to help us if we were attacked suddenly." I tried to reason with him.

A little child's ramblings might not be enough to change his mind right now but I hoped that it at least planted some seeds of doubt in his head.

" That... hmmmmm"

"You have given me much to think about. " He replied to me as he stroked his beard.

Nodding my head, I turned around to leave. Just as I was about to reach for the doorknob I heard the voice of the kage calling out to me.

" Zeke kun."

" Yes? " I replied as I turned my head back a little.

" My granddaughter and I are going to hidden leaf village next week for a month."

" I want you to come with us. I will send Sato over to your house to tell your parents today. " The Kage said to me as the door glowed and opened up on its own.

Nodding my head once more I walked outside the door.

The door closing by itself as I did.

' Going to konoha huh. ' I thought to myself.

This would be the first time I left the village and the first place I'm going to go to is arguably the epicenter of all major events that are going to take place in the future.

Smiling as I walked back to my home as my mind wandered to all the possible things I could do once I went to Konoha.

The places I wanted to visit.

The people I was going to meet.

Not that I knew many that would be alive during this time period. I could only hope that I would meet the people that would soon become legends in the future like the 3 Sanin, The future yellow flash and .....#######

*BZZTTTTTTTT*

The world around me buzzed with white noise as the whole landscape started to crumble and change.

' Ah, not another one of this again.' I thought to myself as I started to feel dread regarding the mind splitting headache I was going to feel afterward.
