Zarah Fable
Damn it, I have no clue how to do this Algebra work.I can't believe that they assigned us work while out for break. I am just sitting at the kitchen Island attempting to do this work while finishing the rest of my cheesecake from last week. I mean it still tastes good. I hear my phone start to ring and when I look over at it Kiki's name sprawls across the screen. I grab my phone to answer it while standing up to take a stretch break.
"Hey Kiki what's up?"
"What's up is I have been texting you for the last 30 minutes trying to figure out what we are going to wear!"
"Going to wear for what?"
"Uggg just shut up and open your door."
I glanced at my front door and began to walk towards it to open it. I swing open the door and there Kiki stands with a handful of dresses and a bag filled with makeup.
"What the hell is all of this for?"
"All of this is for the party we are going to that I told you about multiple times."
"You mean the one that I told you I am not going to because you know that I don't do parties."
"Oh come on. It's one party and I have never asked you to go to one before."
"Sherry Benson."
"Ok, well that was because she wanted to see you," Kiki said with some hesitation.
"Barry Moore,"
"He had a crush on you and I thought it might be good for you to see where it goes."
"Jessica Gon…"
"Ok ok I get the point. But you have never actually gone to one before. Come one just this one time. Pleaseeeeee."
Her cry carried on for about 2 minutes until I finally caved in as she had dropped to her knees.
"Ok Fine but you have to help me get ready and you can not leave my side, do you hear me?"
"Yes, yes I do!"
She gave a little scream and got me dressed up with makeup, dress, and all. I no longer recognize myself. I look amazing.
The promise she made to me to stay with he got shot down as soon as she spotted David Henry. She ran off without talking to me and I had to find my own way around. This place is so loud that I can barely hear myself think in here. I walk to where the drinks are and grab a cup and take a sip and then spit it back out.
"Eww, what the hell is this stuff?"
"It's alcohol ya idiot. It's a party not a kid's birthday," some guy responded while laughing and walking away. He's right. I look back at the cup in my hand and down it before I can think again. It tastes good and begins to make me feel a tiny bit tingly. I think that coming here could be a mistake but I guess I won't know until tomorrow.
