Not long after, Oliver and the others arrived with worried looks. Especially Oliver.

"Guys! Come in. Have a seat…" Rose called them in.

When they settle in their seats, Rose's eyes stop on Oliver. For a slight moment, they stared at each other. She could guess what her best friend was thinking now.

Oliver felt sorry when he saw Rose's pale face and dull-looking eyes. He knows how close Rose is to her mother. Since childhood, this girl only lived with her mother. She has no father, siblings, or no grandparents. So, if something happened to her mother, he was sure this girl would be experiencing a heavy blow in her life. She will suffer.
