Chương 72: Chapter 72 Goku and chichi
Inside piccolo's conscience.
"It's this what you wanted"
Kami talk to piccolo who was uncertain about what he wanted to do now.
"Of course now I can take over the earth without no one interfering with me"
Piccolo replied.
"But then what? Are you going to take over another planet just to please your ego?"
"Shut up you hypocrite. You are no better than me. Who was it that think you should separate from your true self to fulfil your selfish desires."
"A mistake that I still regret to this day"
"Do you? If you let people be themselves I wouldn't accomplish what I have now. So in a sense, I have to thank you."
"....."
"This is why you consented. You know what I am doing is right didn't you"
"You are the one that forces me"
"No, if you never agree with my philosophy we might have never become whole"
"One day someone will stop you"
"I will be looking forward to it"
Then kami fades away as piccolo successfully took over the whole body.
In the real world. Goku was having difficulty trying to bypass piccolo's defence.
Goku's swift kick to the side doesn't even faze piccolo as the demon king slap goku launching him away into the air.
"Kamehame haaaa"
Goku used another Kamehameha which hit piccolo but failed to do any significant damage.
Then chichi arrived at the battle sense and saw goku. She was overjoyed as she had not seen him for two days which is equivalent to two years in real time but her expression stiffened as soon as she saw piccolo.
"Need some help," she said while landing near goku.
"A lot. I don't think I can handle him much more."
Goku replied.
"Can you stall him for a few seconds? I need to catch my breath "
"Ok don't take too long"
And chichi dashed towards piccolo.
"It's been a while," piccolo said to chichi.
Chichi then noticed how piccolo's power level skyrocketed upon their last meeting a few minutes ago and was shocked.
"You how did you become so powerful"
"I am not answering back to the one that is going to die soon" and piccolo gave chichi a punch in the guts. The attack was too fast for chichi to react as piccolo's fist went through her body.
Goku was shocked especially how quickly chichi was taken care of by piccolo as he knows that chichi was the strongest warrior that the earth had to offer.
Goku knows that chichi can be revived especially by the dragon balls that exist in the place called nemak.
But he was still angry. Of how powerless he is. He was angry that the people killed by piccolo cannot go to heaven or hell and have to suffer eternally. He is the one that has to allow everything to happen just because he was not strong enough. With a burst of anger, he achieved a power level that is not possible for him before. The power of a false super Saiyan.
His body was surrounded by an orange-reddish aura and his hair becomes spikey. His child-like body was now even more muscular giving an illusion of an unstoppable powerhouse.
"I will kill you," goku said while looking at piccolo with blood lust in his eyes.
"Then come" piccolo who still thinks he is stronger than anyone on the earth didn't fall back. The battle that will decide the fate of the world begins now.
