Due to the newest addition to the battlefield, the fights temporarily stopped, as both Ghouls and humans looked upwards.

While the Ghouls were wary since a batch of them just got eliminated by the silver pillar of light that descended from the sky, the humans who got blown away on the other hand, were slowly getting up with the help of their comrades

Some glared at Daimon, since those iconic white flames appeared to be the trigger of that silver pillar as well as the newcomer who descended within it.

Naturally, they weren't exactly glad to have been affected by Daimon's technique, but that wasn't the only reason as to why they were glaring at him.
