But, I still managed to talk through the sniffles. "I love you so much. Everything that I am belongs only to you, and shall remain that way until you say so. My lover, master, and guardian."

Maybe I had thought of how pesky the table was in speararting the both of us, because it suddenly disappeared along with the chairs as the white room suddenly turned into my room, or more specifically, the room that Ivanka and I shared back in her domain.

We both tumbled into my bed, and Ivanka winced from the pain.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Wait, let me try something for you," I said and focused my thoughts into healing this sexy dark-skinned woman.

"Don't waste your efforts. Afflictions of the Source are not something that a mere-"

Before she could say anything, her body started glowing golden white, the source of my powers, and the source of me. I didn't understand anything that was going on, but I did manage a cheeky raise of an eyebrow over at Ivanka.

Willow's POV, The Mystical Woods, Gate Of Steel

I woke up from the absolutely magically lewd dream I had yesterday night. The first thing I caught was a hint of the moon as it faded away from the morning sky as the sun arose with an angry shine. Oh, Solaris must have been mad that Ivanka had basically stolen some time from her but the two were cousins so they had probably done something much worse to each other, like that one time, Solaris thought it would be funny to shine for 3 days, and nights straight.

Yeah, Ivanka, being the older of the two, gave her a solid spanking for that, playable and seeable on the DHL content back on the PlayBation 5.

I felt completely refreshed, or until, I realized I couldn't get up. Looking at the culprit, I had forgotten that Raegis had curled up beside me, holding onto my arms with a deathgrip while something else touched my arm.

I wanted to slap myself on the forehead, and groan from how horny anything with a cock was, on this planet. Even I didn't have such frequent morning boners back in my world, not to mention something that hard, and big!

Again, I could only moan in jealousy since there wasn't any chance in hell that I could ever have something like that, an instrument of flesh that was meant for giving only.

With the expertise I had built up from sleeping with Elm, I wiggled myself out of her grasp masterfully and got up to stretch.

Moaning, I looked around, before my eyes settled on the little willow tree before me. Again, I couldn't emphasize how odd it looked just standing there, since it didn't feel right, like it didn't belong to this world but it was trying it's best to be.

Pretty creepy, but I knew that the moment Raegis walked inside, she would come out years, and years ahead in terms of power, or, dead. I was willing to take that risk, because that risk was willing and had already come to fuck me in the ass multiple times.

"So, what's the plan for today?"

Obviously, I was going to tell Raegis about what this little willow tree really was, but then, I had to plan for what I was going to do while she was in there.

The [Gate Of Steel], in essence, was something that the original and First Steel, before all of his incarnations, created so that his knowledge was never lost to the worlds. When one entered inside, he or she would have to overcome a trial and only after, would they be granted a part of the First Steel's prowess, equipment, or knowledge.

It was extremely hard to find even one [Gate Of Steel], but any incarnation of the First Steel would be able to eventually find them as long as they followed their heart.

There were around 9 [Gate Of Steel] in total, and even in the game, Raegis only managed to open up 6, as the other two had already been plundered by the Martial King, and the last one was never found, but the game's fanbase had pretty much made a good theory as to where it could be.

With this [Gate Of Steel], Raegis should come out with a special skill that would allow her to basically counter all attacks, or so was the theory but in reality, it was just a skill that allowed you to counter attacks if you could process it. A mostly useless skill for most people since it would take too much time to analyze an enemy's attack midst combat, but for someone heavenly gifted in terms of senses like the The Steel, this was an ability that helped the First Steel counter even the King Of God's attack.

This was the first, and most basic of all of the [Gates Of Steel], but it was also the most important for Raegis as she was now. The other [Gates Of Steel] would just overwhelm her completely.

I turned back. Raegis was still sleeping, which made me sweat-drop. It was pretty good to see that she trusted me enough to be sleeping in this late, but then I wondered if I was spoiling her too much by letting her sleep in like this. It could be a habit later, but oh well, after learning about her backstory, she needed a good sleep like this more than any of us.

I turned my attention back to the [Gate Of Steel] that had tried to hide itself as a simple willow tree in this clearing.

Anyone could gain Steel's treasure as long as they passed the trial.

My fingers reached out to the willow tree, before receding. I bit my lips. Yes, I was tempted but I didn't know how the world would react to me trying to pillage things that were always meant to be Raegis. After all, Raegis was almost like the Holy Trinity of Maiden, Hero, and Demon. She was of a balance, but one of killing and culling threats to the world.

I mean, I wasn't like the Martial God who was lucky enough to be able to avoid the World's agents twice before he gained his divinity. Once he did, what would the world do but to give up?

Yeah, it was better to just feed it to Raegis, and build her up to become an even stronger version than in the game, just like my original plan, after all.

I always had to remind myself. With Great Power, comes Great Responsibility. Which I really, really, didn't want.

The Gate thrummed with power. But, like I said before, I didn't want it. I would rather someone have it, and protect me with it. Like that, I would avoid the responsibility, and get the power as well.

"Yawn."

Talking about power and responsibility, the person who was in charge of it, was starting to wake up. I turned my back to the gate, and went over to Raegis with a smile. Sometimes, I was even disgusted with myself from how easily I changed faces when I needed something. A bad habit from the previous world that carried over to this, I guess.

"Hey there, sunshine. Wake up, already."

That just made Raegis yawn even more. "Oh, Raegis wants five more naps. . ." Trailing off her words, I realized she was just going to go back to sleep if I didn't do something.

Closing onto her, my fingers tapped onto her forehead. "This is a warning. On the count of three, I'm going to flick your forehead."

"1," I tapped her forehead once. "I'm serious. It's really going to hurt."

"Wuwhh uphhh," Raegis proceeded to say nonsensical stuff.

"2," I tapped her forehead twice. "Oh well, since you're begging for it." I channeled my index finger with chi, and that definitely woke her up.

I could literally see Raegis's hair stand up. They weren't lying when they said Raegis had immense talent in sensing. I didn't even put enough chi in my index finger for it to be considered a threat to even a snail but she sensed it the moment I did.

"3-"

"Raegis is up!" Raegis stood up like a telephone pole. I let go of the chi gathering in my index finger. When I did, Raegis let out a sigh before her stomach decided to make itself known at that moment.

I giggled at that. "Aww, looks like someone couldn't hold her-Grrrr." My face immediately fell, turning a dark, dark shade of red.

My head snapped to look at Raegis's reaction. She just smirked in disdain, like she was daring me to say that again.

"Why don't we hunt something for breakfast?"

I had the intestines of a Toothed-Tigre simmering in a pot of water. It didn't take too long to hunt, especially since most of the monsters in this circle of the forest were pretty weak for me and extremely weak for Raegis.

I had a pretty simple vision for breakfast this morning. A simple stew, but made with an abundance of herbs and spices, exotic ones that I found inside Ivanka's hidden spice chambers. Well, she told me where they were, after she found out my secret passion for cooking.

I felt happy, and content as I stirred the pot while tasting the soup. A little salty, but it was best served like this. While the cooking skills in this world weren't too low, only the rich could really afford them and it was really bad to the point that, using my previous world as a comparison, you would have to pay around 100 dollars for a simple egg-fried rice, with miso soup.

Yeah, no. And, the only reason why the rich could even do something like that, privatizing food to the extreme, was because they monopolized the supplies to the point even America would feel ashamed.

Watching the innards of the Tigre pop up in the soup, I considered giving them to Raegis raw since she was a beastkin, but I decided not to, since I didn't want to step on any boundaries and risk being a racist. I wonder if you could even eat anything in this world raw, with their lack of attention to hygiene.

Going into my Dimensional Storage, I took out this world's equivalent of onions, bay leaves, salt and other seasonings that could only be found in this world. I was aiming to make my stew somewhat salty but sweet at the same time. Tossing them all into the pot, I made sure to give Raegis a taste to which she licked them clean off my finger.

If anyone was questioning where I found a pot to make this stew, I had stolen this from Ivanka's cutlery as well, and had rinsed it off in one of the streams by her house. Sorry, by our house. Meanwhile, while waiting for the stew to cook, I thought of the things Raegis would have to face inside the [Gate Of Steel].

From what I could remember, the game never really showed the insides of the Gate and if you ever attempted to glitch inside, all you would be able to see is a white space. The [Gate Of Steel] was a sort of trial that anyone could attempt to challenge, but only a selected, specific few could really win the treasures inside. The one that Raegis was attempting would give her what she really, really needed right now but as for what type of challenge she would face? I had absolutely no idea.

I placed a finger on my chin. Would the challenge be mental, physical, or something abstract? I didn't know, and realized there was no point in beating my brain up for it, since it was going to be Raegis attempting it.

Not me.

I opened my eyes, to see that Raegis was hovering around the pot, basking in the aroma wafting out of it.

"Any closer and the stew's going to taste like your face," I said.

"What do you mean?" Raegis tilted her head.

"Like, the stew's going to-" I saw that she wouldn't understand so I shook my head. "Nevermind. Just don't get so close. It's almost done."
