Isaac couldn’t say anything except lower his head in shame. He could barely remember what happened after he followed the strange man in the state of his trance. So, he didn’t speak anything more.
John couldn’t pick up where Isaac had left and retell the incident because he was too shaken by the chilling glare of the King.
Vincent, on the other hand, could already sense the thickening tension in the air. He did not want Caspian to have another fit of rage because he knew that if that happened, there would be dead bodies lying left and right.
So, he tightly gripped Caspian on the shoulder so as to remind him not to be aggressive and then prompted John to speak.
