In the corridor of the room, I bumped into Jack who had just come out of his room as well. He looked at me weirdly because I kept nagging since earlier.
"Reina, are you okay?" he asked as soon as I got in front of him.
"I'm fine. What's not okay is Dave. His brain is short, maybe he just got struck by lightning."
Jack chuckled. When will this man be able to laugh out loud? "What's wrong with Dave? He just arrived half an hour ago, I told him to stay in your room."
"That's his fault, why didn't he order a separate room anyway. Troublesome."
"Troublesome? What's he bothering about?"
"When he asked me—"
Unlucky! I almost spoke inappropriately in front of Jack.
One of Jack's eyebrows rose. "What did Dave ask for?
Oh!
"That... he asked for coffee. Yes, coffee. I'm so lazy."
Jack nodded. "Maybe you can order with room service. But isn't the hotel room already provided, right? You don't have to bother going out."
"Really?"
"Yes. But by the way..." Jack glanced at his watch. "I want to take you to dinner. It's about time."
I am surprised. So it's night already? How many hours have I slept?
"Sorry, Jack. I just woke up and haven't showered yet. Then I'll go back to my room first. It won't be long."
Jack nodded. "Is that so? Okay, no problem."
I had to go back to my room. I'm lazy to face Dave who is short in his brain. When I opened the door Dave wasn't there. Where is that man? Maybe in the bathroom.
"Dave! Are you in?" I asked knocking on the bathroom door. No answer. Where exactly is he?
I tap again. Also no response. "I'll open this door. I'm going to take a shower."
When I pressed the doorknob, it opened. So where's Dave? The bathroom is empty. My eyes went straight to the balcony. Could he be there? Slowly I walked to the balcony.
"Sorry, I can't. You want that right? It's all over since you chose to live with him."
It was Dave's voice. Who is he talking to? I opened the curtains a little. I saw Dave was on the phone.
"Stop asking for the impossible."
"That's enough. You'd better not call me again."
I put my ear to the glass door. What are they talking about? Is he talking to a woman? Is it his girlfriend? If it's true that Dave already has a girlfriend, why would he want to marry me?
"What are you doing, Reina?"
Ops! My eyes blink. Since when did Dave hang up the phone? I gave a wide grin as I saw Dave on his hips glaring at me.
"Eavesdropping on that person's conversation is rude, Reina."
"I didn't eavesdrop, I was just... Was... Ah! This! wipe the glass. Oh, why is this glass so bad, like your face."
I rubbed the glass door for a while then immediately ran away leaving Dave who looked furious at my behavior. I don't want to see Dave angry like he was in New York in the past.

Me, Dave, and Jack had dinner at the hotel restaurant. After eating, they and I went on a night tour. Not far, just around the hotel. There is a lantern festival in a city park.
"Let's go there!" I asked two men who were still talking about office matters. I don't understand what they're talking about, so from now on, it's just installments myself while taking selfies.
"We'd better go back to the hotel." Dave had been wanting to go back to the hotel since he had eaten. I told him to go back himself but he didn't want to.
"I do not want. I want to see the lantern. Jack, we're going there, let's go!" I grabbed Jack's hand who looked resigned when I pulled his hand.
"Hey! Wait!" shouted Dave. Well, in the end, Dave came with us too.
Jack is happy to be my cameraman. I take pictures in various styles. Move from one place to another. Don't care about Dave who continues to sneer at my actions which he calls tacky. Only he said that. Jack's just fine with that.
After I was tired of taking pictures, Jack bought me ice cream. Finally, the three of us sat on a lounger while eating ice cream. At first, it was just me and Jack who ate. But, Dave brazenly snatched mine. Jack finally bought another ice cream.
"Yours looks better." I turned and saw Jack's ice cream.
"You want to?"
I immediately nodded enthusiastically and ate the ice cream that Jack handed me.
"It's delicious! You want mine too?" I offered in turn.
"Of course."
I want to hand over my ice cream. But suddenly Dave's mouth grabbed my ice cream first.
"Yours is sour. It's not good."
I gaped when I saw the ice cream cone I was holding was almost empty. Dave's mouth is huge. I glared at Dave who didn't look the least bit guilty.
"Why did you finish my ice cream?!" I shouted annoyed.
"Oh, I thought you didn't want to."
I scowled in annoyance. "Dave, you suck!"
I got annoyed and walked away.
"It's just that she's sulking." I can still hear Dave's sneer behind me.
"Reina!" shouted Jack. The man immediately followed my steps.
"We can buy more. There's no need to be so angry," he said. I've been annoyed with Dave for a long time. Starting from not wanting to take a walk to pester me every time I took a photo. The ice cream incident was just one of the many behaviors that made me resentful of him.
"Here, you eat mine." Jack handed me his ice cream.
"I do not want!" I refuse.
"Okay, we'll just buy it again then."
"No need, Jack."
"Well, you are-"
The ringing of Jack's cell phone interrupted his speech. He took out his phone and when he saw the shining screen, he said goodbye. I sighed. It must be a secret phone. Like Dave earlier. Just calling only had to hide like that.
"Let's go back to the hotel."
From behind Dabe grabbed my hand. I stopped walking and pulled my hand away from Dave's grip.
"You don't want to go home? It's already late, Reina."
"I don't want to, you just go home first. I still want to go for a walk."
"Don't be stubborn, Reina. Night winds like this are not good for health."
"What do you care?!"
Dave sighed then looked straight at me. "So you don't want to go back to the hotel?"
"No."
I thought Dave would leave me and go back to the hotel himself. But my guess was wrong when suddenly Dave carried my body on his shoulders. Good grief! I struggled to be brought down. Does he think I'm a sack of rice?
"Dave! Put me down! I don't want to go back to the hotel!" I shouted, but Dave ignored me.
Damn it! He just kept walking leisurely towards the hotel. The people around were already looking at the two of us with strange looks. I'm ashamed. Dave is so annoying.
