Chương 41: Norman Osborn’s world tour
My first stop on my illustrious world tour was Tokyo I always wanted to explore Tokyo in my past life. They didn't have any major protests or anything going on in Tokyo or Japan as a whole. I visited some interesting areas, some beautiful views and some areas where the food was superb if I do say so myself.
As the blazing sun began to set ushering in the moon and stars I found myself sensing a metahuman near my location. When I sense beings through my shadows I also sense life force, metahumans generally have a stronger more pronounced life force than humans.
I quickly ducked back into my hotel room and equipped my plague doctor outfit then shadow walked toward the meta's location.
I appeared inside a futuristic building that could only be built by someone with a brilliant mind leading me to believe I know who this meta is or at least have an idea.
"Who the fuck are you." I heard behind me
I turned around and saw a big ass gun in my face. It looks like a gun from a sci-fi movie sadly for him stuff like this won't scratch me now.
"Rude." is all I said before I used my telekinesis to push the man into a wall
*crunch* he hit the wall like a meteor denting the metal wall and fracturing a couple of bones
"Hee~ say do you want to join my organization we need someone who can build this stuff," I asked
"*hurggh* fu-uck you." he spat out still being pressed against the wall
I didn't say anything just let him go from my telekinesis dropping him to the ground.
"Say what's your name?" I asked
"Why would I tell you that," he replied angrily still wincing in pain
"Hm okay listen, Forge I can see you don't want to join the brotherhood of racism or Xavier's school for brainwashing so let me give you a third option. ME." I said my silver tongue seems to be working wonders Forge isn't cussing me out anymore
"Why did you ask me my name if you knew it! And I doubt you could tell me anything I'd like to hear after you THREW ME in a wall!" Forge lashed out at me like an angry puppy
"Not sorry about that you shouldn't have pointed a gun at me. Now what you would gain by joining me is simple first I'm the boss of the League of Shadows I'm sure you have heard of it. Second I can get you as many materials as you want for your new tech and third you will get to meet actual metahumans, not those drones Magneto and Xavier have with them. The metahumans in the league are different they don't hate humans and they make educated decisions on their opinions." I replied
What I said put Forge into deep thought, I could tell the prospect of having materials and meeting mutants that weren't brainwashed by Xavier or magneto seemed to interest him. So I gave him one last push.
"I'll tell you what I will draw up a contract and tell me what you think," I said
"Fine," he replied
Tsk he is so impolite.
"Okay read this," I said handing him the parchment
----------Forge's contract ---------
I: Daniel Lone Eagle (forge) will join the league of shadows and be the technology designer and builder
II: Daniel Lone Eagle will serve the League faithfully and with loyalty
III: Daniel Lone Eagle will not be forced to build anything he thinks is too dangerous or not morally correct in his opinion
IV: Daniel Lone Eagle has the option to leave the league for only one week after joining
V: Daniel Lone Eagle will have as many materials as he so needs
VI: Daniel Lone Eagle will be kept safe from Magento and Xavier respectively if he can be.
VII: Daniel Lone Eagle is not permitted to share any information about his contract or about the leader

"So what do you think?" I asked
"Well, you definitely gave me a favorable deal." He replied
"How do I know you will honor the contract? I mean you didn't even say your real name," he asked
"True but sign it and you will know," I answered
"Tch okay but I want the materials soon," he said and signed the paper
"Of course," I replied
As soon as he signed the paper It burst into flames and both of us could feel the soul contract.
"Wow." Forge said in amazement
"Wow indeed," I replied
"Now where are my materials," he said with a smirk
"Be respectful when talking to me," I replied pinning him to the floor with my telekinesis
"The contract states you will have as many materials as you need but, not when you get them," I said calmly
"Someone will pick you up from here so don't move and your materials are at the base," I added
"Next time we see each other learn how to talk politely," I said before leaving
---Narrator pov ---
Shortly, after Norman left Forge slowly, got to his feet. 'Fucking bastard.' Forge thought angrily
Suddenly two people walked out of the shadows.
"You the new guy?" John asked
"Guess so." Forge replied
"Okay pack up we leave soon," John said
"Where are we going?" Forge asked
"New York," John replied in a bored tone
"Hm really? What's up with everyone and New York?" Forge said sarcastically
"I don't know but it's an interesting place for sure." The other person in the room said
"Ha, I bet! Hey is Bossman always so... Violent?" Forge asked with a small chuckle
"No, not really but if he was you probably deserved it. Now get packing," said Bucky
"Got it got it." Forge said waving his hands in the air out of annoyance
[The next day]
Norman whole up early and began his journey for the day. Today he was dead set on climbing Mt. Takao before the sun began the rise. Slowly Norman made his way to the top of the mountain. The silence of nature accompanied him along the journey, he heard the wildlife scurrying about trying to find food, the small fireflies Illuminating his path like mini suns shining brightly.
Norman made it to the top of Mt. Takao right before the sunset he took his time and enjoyed walking slowly up the path.
Felicia emerged from the shadow behind him and joined Norman on top of the mountain.
"Sorry, I'm late love my alarm didn't ring," Felicia said in a sad tone, she wanted to walk the mountain with him
"It's okay this is only one sight on my journey," Norman replied
They hugged each other in silence. Norman in the back and Felicia in the front, Norman rested his chin atop her head as they took in the sight of the sunrise.
slowly the first rays of the sun peaked over the edge of the earth and everything was bathed in foggy, golden light the ethereal view enchanted Norman and Felicia.
"Beautiful." Felicia unconsciously said
"Indeed," said Norman as he watched the earth slowly awaken
—-Norman Pov 5 hours later—-
After Felicia left I went back to my hotel room and got packed for my flight since I'm technically going under my true identity I can't shadow walk everywhere.
Today I will be flying to Africa more specifically Africa than taking a trip to Madagascar the population is in extreme poverty and the sights are beautiful. I want to build an orphanage and some medical clinics there to help the people. I honestly have no ulterior motive besides the obvious increase in public image.
I have a meeting with their president about my plans I'm sure he will be excited.
---- Pov Harry ---
It's been a couple of days since master met dad since then we have ventured out into one more village to help feed the people. Today I was supposed to go on an excursion with my master he said something about a mythical creature causing trouble in south India, I think he called it a Rakshasa.
"So master when do we leave?" I asked him
"Soon but first tell me what a Rakshasa is." master replied
"Um a Rakshasa is a demon or unrighteous spirit in Hindu mythology. Rakshasas are also called man-eaters!" I said with confidence
"Yes you're correct very textbook answer." master responded
"Okay let's go young one." masted added and turned to leave
We traveled south at high speeds, master is one fast old guy. Eventually, we reached a cave and entered.
"Watch well my pupil," Master said
I gave him a firm nod back. We stepped inside the cave and I saw something I didn't expect a shrine was built and the cave looked like a temple room much like my own.
Master slowly walked up to the shrine and said, "since we don't use magic instead we use magic artifacts this shrine will teleport us to any location we need in south India there are others in the north, east, and west." master said
"Interesting," I replied in awe
"Good now pay attention. Łęt thę šøûñd güīdę üš ōñ ôûr jöûrñęÿ šöûth!" master chanted then my vision filled with light
Next thing I know I'm standing with my master in another cave.
"Let's go we are about 10 miles from our destination." master said waking out of the cave
I nodded back.
[ten miles later]
We eventually made it to the village, it seemed empty I could only hear a few heartbeats. Master and I walked toward the main part of the village where the highest-ranking member was located I think they call them chiefs in India, not mayors I could be wrong though.
We need the door of the chief the wind blew it open slightly.
*creeek* the ominous sound of the door screening was amplified in my head.
I could hear the sound of someone, no something eating no that's not right either it was devouring, shredding, and tearing apart something inside. As we walked through the door the sight I saw made my blood run cold the Rakshasa was surrounded by multiple unidentifiable corpses its face drenched in crimson blood dripping down its maw.
"Handle it young one," Master said to me
The beast stopped and turned toward us. It slowly raised its body from the fresh corpse of what looked like a young girl. Tears of anger threatened to drip from my eyes. I have never been so mad in my life I have never wanted to SILENCE something so much before.
"ARGHHHH," I screamed in anger my voice magnified because of my powers sending a wave of sound in its direction
*bang* the Rakshasa flew back into a wall behind it, I rushed forward at full speed my balled fist relaxed as I opened it into a spear shape.
*puchik* my hand stabbed through the Rakshasa right next to its heart, my fingers curled into a hook shape as I pulled my hand out of the beast.
*shiik* the Rakshasa's heart now was firmly in my grasp, the beast was barely alive I slowly brought my hand in front of its head and *snap* *boom* I snapped my fingers creating a boom blowing its head into pieces.
"It's done master," I said my voice hoarse
He didn't reply only put a hand on my shoulder.
I have killed before and I didn't feel much but the sight before me was something I would never forget. Bodies young and old lay torn apart their blood painted the walls and floor. A town of innocent people was ravaged by a beast for what? Food? Pleasure? Both? I don't know but the sadness I feel for these people is something that will stick with me forever.
Slowly I and master began to pick up what was intact from the bodies. Peacefully we laid them each into a grave, a grave with no name etched upon it with the dates with no loved ones. The only thing that lay on the grave of those lost was one word.
AVENGED.
