It was bright and early, with dawn blanketing the sky with its pinkish-orange hue. 

The plants, grass, and greenery had tiny water droplets glistening like a mirrored painting. 

It was still the wee early morning hours, yet the heat was already unbearable. 

What to make of it? 

The winds were just too stagnant, and the air was thick with the fresh forest smells of nature. 

But as early as it was, many were already up and ready for work.

Penelope smacked her face and washed her face with water before spending another 10 minutes of training time in the settlement center.

As a person having 2 main job titles, Government Worker and Militia, she was required to train in both the military and the settlement center to do both jobs well. 

Minute by minute, she felt her brain unlocked, and a deeper understanding of her position revealed to her. 

The training was indeed a mysterious thing.
