Mora's possessor had tried to kill Sulu when he'd still been inside the dark native cavern, but the woman halted her plan to make him believe that she was on his side. Sulu wouldn't stick out his neck for his goal, he might be stupid on thinking that she was helping him for longevity. The woman clearly didn't care what happened to her projects. The head chief was her problem, an embarrassment, a threat to her grand plan. Something to be annihilated, not protected.
Blanca knows that Elfar had stood by Mora because she was his job. He cares about her as a person; he was not going to allow her to be tortured and executed because of her involvement with Sulu. After all, they couldn't kill Mora, the real Mora was innocent. Her possessor however was different.
Blanca moved to stand beside Danny. "What are you doing, Danny?" Blanca demanded.
