At the risk of angering Aren, Luke expressed his thoughts with a shudder.

Where in New York could Aren find a good assistant like him? He had lost two pounds recently because of Aren's marriage. If Aren did not give him a big bonus at the end of the year, he would definitely cry.

As Luke thought to himself, he carefully observed Aren's expression in the rearview mirror.

Aren first sneered in disdain, then looked deep in thought. Finally, he said flatly, "Then go to the flower shop to buy a bouquet later. I'm not trying to make her happy. I just don't want people to think I'm stingy."

"Yes, I understand." Luke looked stern, but he was feeling happy for Aren inside.

He knew that Aren was a little weird, but he didn't expect him to be so weird. He obviously wanted to give Miss Jocelyn flowers, but he wouldn't admit it no matter what.
