"That is either the biggest coincidence in the world, or she knew we were coming," Taylor frowned, bouncing Eric in her arms as he giggled. 

I'm the first to tell you stakeouts are nothing like the movies or TV. The made-up version makes them interesting and full of suspense. The reality is dull and much more complicated. You can only sit in your car for hours without people noticing and getting suspicious. Sitting in the coffee shop wasn't an option either. We stood out too much, and no matter how much people liked coffee, no one would sit and drink the stuff for that long. Then, there were the kids.
