Thinking of her attitude towards the President's wife just now, the receptionist shivered subconsciously.
President's Office—
Lu Moqing looked emotionlessly at the documents in his hand, sunlight filtering through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a halo on his body, adding a blurred color of divine descent to his originally deep and perfectly carved features.
He couldn't focus on a single word of the document, his mind filled with Qiao Xu's calm and relieved expression when she left home yesterday, disturbing the peace of his heart.
Jiang Hao carefully pushed open the door of the President's office with the divorce agreement in hand, meeting Lu Moqing's lifted gaze.
Lu Moqing's eyes were very dark, unfathomably deep, making it impossible for anyone to read his emotions.
Seeing Jiang Hao's hesitant appearance, he frowned, "What's the matter?"
His voice, like him, carried a natural coldness, instantly extinguishing any warmth in the surroundings as soon as he spoke.
Jiang Hao cautiously handed over the item Qiao Xu had asked him to give to Lu Moqing—
"President, this is what Madam just sent over."
Lu Moqing's eyebrows twitched, and his deep eyes locked onto the paper in front of him, glinting with a trace of severity.
"Sent by Qiao Xu?"
The temperature in his voice seemed to have cooled even more, Jiang Hao stiffened and nodded.
Lu Moqing didn't speak, looking at the beautiful handwriting at the bottom of the agreement, where Qiao Xu's name was written.
Divorce Agreement?

Rage quickly spread across Lu Moqing's face, chilling. His deepening pupils swirled with a storm of repressed fury as he stared at the clearly-organized property division on the agreement, his thin lips drawn into a cold, derisive smile.
It was as if a sharp blade was about to shred this agreement into scraps.
"President…"
Despite the frigid atmosphere, Jiang Hao braced himself and continued, "President, the Madam also said…"
Cold eyes slowly lifted to meet Jiang Hao's gaze, causing him to shudder involuntarily once more.
"What else did she say?"
Though his words were simple, they seemed to have emerged from an ice cellar, pounding mercilessly against Jiang Hao's skull.
"Madam said, please sign this quickly, and find a time to go get the divorce certificate with her."
Lu Moqing didn't speak, his cold eyes becoming even more profound and unfathomable.
With just a wave of his hand, Jiang Hao felt like he had been granted amnesty. He quickly scampered out of the office and even "thoughtfully" closed the office door for him.
"Divorce?"
Lu Moqing's lips curled into a cold, derisive smile, "Qiao Xu, who says I have to follow your lead in everything!"
He gripped the divorce agreement a little tighter, staring at the bold letters that spelled "Divorce Agreement," which became more and more piercing to his eyes. He casually threw the agreement in a drawer, not taking it seriously.
In his view, this was just another trick played by Qiao Xu in front of him. He had long been used to her tactics and had no interest in playing along.
A month later—
Qiao Xu stared dumbfounded at the lab report in her hand, which she had received from the maternity department director. The bright figures on it were telling her that she was pregnant.
That sole night a month ago with Lu Moqing had spectacularly taken root.
"Xuxu, the child is developing well. However, the workload at the hospital is too heavy. I suggest you take a leave of absence for the first three months."
