Morning brought an unexpected revelation to the streets of Anomic town. Jamie stirred first among his companions, his keen senses drawing him from slumber. His muscles ached from the previous day's journey, a reminder of the distance they'd covered. The abandoned house creaked softly as he made his way outside, wooden floorboards protesting under each careful step as he tried not to wake the others.

The sight that greeted him was jarring – the main town was adorned with decorations, festive streamers and banners hanging between buildings in stark contrast to the previous day's desolate atmosphere.
