As soon as Xiao Ara's movements stopped, she looked at the man in front of her. Those violet-colored eyes, somehow made her feel something strange inside her. Her gaze felt so cold, deep, calm, and also a little…. warm at the same time.

How could the man know she was a woman?

"Do you need my help to pull that thing off your shoulder?" Zue Xie asked again when he didn't get any response from Xiao Ara.

"Ohh. I can do it myself," replied Xiao Ara, the girl grimaced in pain again, she held her breath when she felt the tip of the arrow slicing through the flesh of her shoulder.

A muffled groan rang out once more before the tip of the arrow managed to escape her shoulder, blood spurting out and instantly soaking her shirt.
