Chương 75: The Alien Attack -1

For the next three days ever since Fury informed the world security council about the coming Alien attack, there was a riot inside the UN assembly.

The New US president, Al Gore who won with a good margin (in Marvel world, he only lost because George W. Bush had the support of Hydra) was already sweating buckets.

He just took the office and within a week he had to face a back-to-back alien attack! What the fuck is wrong with this world?! No one knows how to contact the only guy that had any information about the alien attack as he disappeared into an orange portal.

Yes, a shiny orange space portal. Also, did he mention that guy was already dead? So, he came from the dead to inform them about another alien attack and then disappeared into an orange shiny portal.

NASA had been working 24x7, but they had no satellite footage or any sighting of any spaceship entering their atmosphere. It was like Fury made a joke or something but people who were in the meeting knew Fury meant business. TICK-TOCK! TICK-TOCK!

For three days, armies were positioned all over the world. Nukes were practically placed in standby mode and ready to be launched at the press of one push.

With every passing hour, the fear of the unknown had gripped all over the world. The warning to take shelter in the basements didn't help either. The public knew something big was coming. Something so serious, that the entire world was preparing for war. TICK-TOCK! TICK-TOCK!

It was on this day when the sun rose the three day period was over. Generals ran towards the command units. Soldiers to the post. Everyone picked up their weapons and decided to teach these alien bastards a lesson they won't forget. The earth belonged to them because they had the strength to keep it.

Police were stationed on all roads and there was a complete lockdown in every major city. The world stood still that day and all eyes were on the blue skies waiting for the supposed enemies to come. TICK-TOCK! TICK-TOCK!

The sound of an invisible clock was felt around the world. Every second the breath became heavier and the spirit was on the verge of collapse. The clouds played tricks sometimes and sometimes it was the fricking birds!

The morning shifted into the afternoon but there was no sign of the enemy attack. People were losing patience and when the broken moon became more visible in the evening, the panic spread like wildfire. The night with its darkness and the faint light suddenly turned the sky above them into a monster hiding its sharp teeth.

Then they came. Silently. All over the world. Once a command was given from Shadow isles, all the 'spaceships' that were stationed all over the globe appeared suddenly.

Small but strange. Surrounded by an energy shield. And there was this huge red one, the biggest one, flying over the pacific sea.

Lieutenant General of the United States Army, Thaddeus Ross who was in control of a large unit of the coalition forces had his eyes popping out of his socket.

He had never seen a single spaceship in his entire life but now they were like ants covering the whole sky. The night was mixing with these strange red and black spaceships increasing the fear in his heart.

"Fire!" He thundered.

All soldiers even the ones with handguns started firing whatever weapons they were manning. First the bullets, then the small missiles and then it was the big war missiles. But nothing. Everything failed to even break the shield around the ships.

In less than a half-hour, major weapon stockpiles across the globes were emptied but they only managed to shake these ships a little in the sky, nothing more.

Then they attacked. And they attacked with extreme precision.

Destroying the army bases, the jets flying in the skies or the tanks on the ground. Almost most of these shots were non-lethal but they broke whatever the courage humans had gathered.

It was at this moment when humanity had lost faith and hope, that the heroes of humanity appeared.

Orange portals lit up in the skies and from these portals, huge Pterodactyls rained down. On the backs of flying dinos, that came straight from history books, warriors covered in black outfits and armed with energy weapons attacked the aliens.

The war of warriors vs aliens was now telecasted all over the globe. People were praying whoever was controlling these flying dinos, may God help him.

Then in America, on a slightly bigger Pterodactyl, one guy, dressed in an owl costume jumped from the top and punched an entire ship into oblivion. He flew over the skies of America bringing absolute destruction to the alien ships.

In Australia, a man (who many agents of Shield noticed) appeared on giant Ants and then jumped and became a huge Goliath. He literally tore down an entire ship with his bare hands. His flying ants then forced the flying ships to crash on the land and sea.

Similarly in Africa, king Eric rode his lady Goldie towards a big ship that was firing on his land. Goldie grew 10 times bigger than her normal size and pounced on another ship while the King of Africa, Eric Stevenson, threw a spear that destroyed another one.

His Dino warriors came from orange portals and used energy nets to tie the flying ships and bought them down on the ground.

In Russia, however, the situation was reversed.

One of the 'alien' ships located a fortress flying in the air. It fired multiple energy beams melting and burning it. People in Russia were confused about this tower. Most have never heard about it or even knew about its existence. Few portals appeared around the burning base, but no one knew what happened inside.

Only the higher-ups in Russia knew this was the control tower and command centre known as the Red Room. Russian higher-ups watched as the years of their planning and 'progress' was burnt down by the alien ships.

Russia suffered heavy losses in these attacks as they hardly had any means to fight these aliens. They had to fire two nukes to destroy the one ship that attacked Red Room tower.

The Alien ship strangely fired many times on some barren locations too destroying some old or discarded bases too for some strange reason. The people of Russia were afraid that soon those laser weapons will be pointed toward them.

However, their prayers were answered when one of the portals lit up in their sky and huge flying dinos came attacking the alien ships.

They managed to stop aliens from creating more destruction in Russia.

In Asia, something strange happened. Something which both 'Aliens' and human heroes had not planned for. A man, flying on a strange hoverbike, attacked these ships. He had some weird ten rings around his arms, and he used the energy pulses to single handedly destroy the majority of these ships.

Jumping one from one ship to another, destroying it in mere seconds and then jumping off, it was like a simple training exercise for him.

Martha immediately noticed this anomaly and alerted Nick Fury who was the one in control of the whole drama. Fury immediately placed him along with other heroes he found in this mission.

In India, he found another hero who can shoot lasers with his hands.

In Russia, there was a giant bear that no one noticed as it appeared and disappeared immediately after destroying one ship above a village area.

Then there are three strangers in the middle east. One man who can shoot laser from his eyes and fly in the air. A woman who can create golden weapons out of thin air like wizards and had great fighting skills and an Asian man who could punch and destroy an entire ship alone.

The list was long and scary.
