I take a deep breath and smile a little. The air in Lunaria is very different from King's Landing. Even without the smell of shit, Lunaria still has better air than that place. There is something different between the two places.
I may have been born there, but Lunaria and Sol-Luna are my home. This place is where I grew up and the place I work so hard to improve.
I take a deep breath and open another portal to my private lab. A second later, I arrived inside my lab and looked at all the items inside. A lot of them have started to dust because of this war. I have not visited this place for months.
I walk deeper into my lab and open up a chest made of copper and silver. As I open it, I can see the inside of the chest. I made this special chest to store all my experiment's raw materials and finished products.
Using the concept of space, I expand the inside of this chest. Currently, I can only stretch the space of this box to ten meters cubic in volume. The outside appearance of the box is 1x1x1 meter box, and the inside is 10x10x10 meters.
If I try to make it bigger than that, the box will explode, and I got a nasty wound from that. I thought that making the box bigger before I enchanted it would solve the problem, but it is not. The material is the key to this enchantment.
Copper and Silver are not good enough. I tried gold, but it failed miserably. Surprisingly, Gold is not suitable as a conductor of magic. For some reason, gold is great for stopping a magical flow.
I learned that day why many magical tools I find in the ruins of Valyria have a chunk of gold at the bottom or the end of their magical tool. It is a failsafe in case something happens. However, I cannot use gold for the storage box as it will disturb the flow of the magic in the enchantment.
I can make the box from pure gold, and it will work; although a weaker version of my current storage box, combining gold into my current formula is a bad idea. That's why I prepared an external failsafe in the form of a barrier around the storage box.
I shake my head and get inside the storage box. I walk briefly and arrive in front of a pair of armor. This is a project I started after my expedition to Valyria. This armor is made of the scale and skin of the Water Dragon I killed.
The scale is stronger than any steel ever made and is immune to fire. I manage to take that immunity so the one wearing them will have the same immunity. Sadly, the scale loses some of its immunity when I do that.
However, I rather have that because it covers the wearer's entire body. It is like a second skin that protects the one wearing the armor, almost immune to fire. The only thing that can damage the armor is Dragon.
As long as my enemy had no dragon, Dany, and Rhae were safe.
Anyway, I did not stop there. Using the same concept, I make sure to add a physical attack absorber to protect them from a physical attack. It is not as good as I want it to be, but it should be good for now.
I add small but useful enchantments like the Feather-Like Weigh, Auto-Clean, and Perfect Temperature effects.
Feather-Like enchantment is just like its name implies; it makes the armor lighter. I cannot make it as light as a feather, but it is as heavy as their regular clothing.
The second one is Auto-Clean. It makes sure the armor stays clean forever. Sadly, I cannot make the wearer stay clean. I need more experiments to be able to do it.
Perfect Temperature will make the wearer never get uncomfortable from the sun or the snow. It will heat up or cool down, depending on where they stay.
I have one more enchantment I want to add, but it is not done yet. It is still in the testing stage. I want to make the armor comfortable to wear. At the moment, it is just that. An armor. It is uncomfortable to wear, but the longer you wear it, the more you get used to it.
I shake my head, take the two armors from the stand, and then walk out of the box.
When I leave the box, I quickly open my pocket dimension and store them inside—another weakness of the storage box. I cannot open my pocket dimension as it will interfere with the enchantment, and I don't want it to fail when I'm inside that box.
I still remember the screaming of the rat when I tested it. It is gruesome, and I don't want it to happen to me. When the enchantment fails from someone opening a pocket dimension inside of it, instead of breaking and returning to its normal form, it does the opposite of its function.
It starts to shrink. Imagine a box with the appearance of a one-meter cubic box, but inside is the size of a grain of sand. Imagine getting crushed into the size of a grain of sand.
After getting the armor, I open another portal. This time, my destination is the secret mountain where the Alchemist lives. I rather call them pyromaniacs because that is what they are. I walk through the portal and see a young man looking at me.
"Welcome to our guild, your highness."
"Thank you. Why are you here? I specifically picked this place because it is hidden."
"The Grandmaster noticed it when he wanted to try his new invention. After that day, he keeps this building clean. I'm currently doing the cleaning duty."
I look around and notice that this place is nicer than the last time I'm here. We are currently inside a cave, but now it looks like we are inside a building.
"Huh. Why did he make this building?"
"To experiment something, your highness. He wants to make some kind of gate that can connect this place to another using the residue of your magic."
"I see. Is it that machine right now?"
I point at a small machine that makes sucking noises.
"Yes"
I don't want to admit it, but the Grandmaster is innovative, unlike the Maester in the Citadel. Unlike the Alchemist Guild, they do more to preserve knowledge than expand it.
"I see. Can you take me to the Grandmaster? I need to talk to you."
"Of course, your highness. The Grandmaster should be inside his lab at the moment."
"Take me there."
The young man nods and leads me into the main building of the guild. On my way there,I can see a lot of people busy with some kind of device and liquid that I know will explode if it is exposed to something. I made one rule for myself when handling people from this place.
When they offer a liquid inside a vial, there is a high chance that it is explosive. So, don't drink it.
After walking for a couple of minutes, we arrived in front of a door at the edge of the building. The young man knocks on the door and says.
"Grandmaster, his highness, Viserys wants to meet you."
After waiting for a second, the door opens, and I can see the crazy old man behind the door.
"Your highness! Welcome!" He looks at the young man and says. "Please send tea to my lab."
"Of course, Grandmaster."
I get inside his lab and sit on the couch in the corner of the room.
"So! What can this old man do for you, your highness?"
"I need your help."
"Of course! Tell me what it is, and I will do it for you."
I take a deep breath and say.
"I need you to make a lot of explosive and fire liquid to turn something into ashes. I want you to burn something. Make it bigger and even more intense than your usual fire liquid. However, make sure it is stable. I will even bring you to help me burn them."
After I say that, I see him looking into space for some reason. I am about to snap him out of it, but I see something happening around his crotch.
"D-Did you just come?"
"Uh-huh."
"Gross"
