Chương 46: Chapter 19: Battle armor ready Part 1
It has been a week and a half ever since Emily got hurt while being trapped in the shadow zone along with Optimus and a revived Skyquake. Her wound was healing slowly but she still felt a little pain. To avoid any further casualties, she had to spend most of her time at the base after both June and Ratchet told her that she isn't allowed to do anything until her wound heals completely.
She hasn't been to school or going to work ever since she got hurt and spending a week and a half at the base had its perks but at least she's safe. Jack, Raf and Miko will spend many nights having fun with her but of course it becomes boring. Today Jack's mother, June, came by to check on Emily's wound and make sure it's not infected or worse, needed surgery.
"Try to walk." June said as Emily was holding on the railing.
"Okay." She nodded and started to walk slowly. She can walk normally now with a limp but she must do it slowly and carefully.
"Great. Your leg looks better. Now let me check the wound. Can you sit down?" June smiled seeing that she was making progress.
"Sure." She laughed softly and sat down as June began to unwrap her leg as the Autobots watched the interaction.
"It's been almost a week and a half since Emily and Optimus got trapped in the shadow zone." Arcee said as she has been keeping an eye on Emily during her healing process.
"Good thing she's got better." Bulkhead said as Bumblebee nodded and whirred in agreement.
"She has the strength and the resilience of a true Autobot. Despite her human factor." Ratchet said as he admired and got to admit even though she's inherited half of her human DNA, she's already an Autobot.
"Humans might not look like it. But they are strong." Optimus said as he watched June and Emily.
June took off the bandages on Emily's leg carefully and saw that the wound had healed but there were three red marks forming into three scars that will surely be there for a long while.
"Good news, there doesn't seem to be any sign of infection. Bad news, no more normal or miniskirts for you, young lady." June said and caused Emily to laugh. She wasn't really fond of skirts ever since she started walking.
"Hahaha, good thing I'm more of a pants girl." She joked as June laughed softly.
"I must say I'm surprised how well you have healed. That wound could've been worse." June said with a small laugh.
She went full mother and doctor mode on Emily when she came to the base to check on her and right after seeing her wound, she completely went ballistic.
"I've seen worse." Emily smiled sheepishly as June nodded.
"You sure did." She smiled as the kids came riding in Cliffjumper's alt mode.
The kids came out and gave Cliffjumper room to transform as the kids went to the human area and saw June and Emily.
"Hi, mom." Jack greeted his mother.
"Hi, nurse Darby." Miko grinned.
"How are you doing?" Raf asked as he pushed his glasses back.
"Hi, kids. I'm doing great. Don't worry about me, I'm just checking on our patient here. Jack, can you pass me my first aid kid?" June said before asking Jack as she pointed to her bag as he nodded.
"Sure thing, mom. Wow, that's some scars." Jack said and got the first aid kit and his eyes widened at the sight of Emily's scars.
"Yeah, your mom says that it would be a bad idea for me to use girls skirts." She rolled her eyes playfully at June as June just shrugged with a playful grin.
"Haha, she says and I quote, 'I'm a girl's pants'." June said as she repeated what Emily said as Miko looked at June and Emily in surprise.
"What? No way. She said that?" Miko asked curiously.
"Yes she did. Now hold still I'm going to clean the wound and put a new bandage in it." June said as she got some cotton balls and the bottle of hydrogen peroxide.
"Sure." She said as she gripped the couch slightly.
"Okay, here we go." June put some of the liquid on the ball before dabbing Emily's wound and causing her to hiss slightly at the sting.
"Ow." She hissed as June looked at her apologetically as she continued.
"Oh sorry. It's almost over. Now I'll put on the bandage." June said as she finished putting some gauze on the wound before grabbing the roll of bandage.
She then starts spinning it all over Emily's leg gently and just like that she was all done as she stood up while putting the kit away.
"There you go. I'll be sure to come back and check on you again. Just remember, try to rest and don't push yourself too hard." June reminded her as Emily nodded.
"I won't." She said as she sighed and relaxed slightly on the couch as June smiled.
"Great. So how was school?" June asked as she turned to the kids.
"Bo-ring." Miko said as Emily gave Miko a look. She learned from Raf that Miko was able to get a good grade on the test last week.
"Casual." Raf shrugged as he took out his laptop.
"Nothing new. Oh by the way, I told Mister Joseph that you are still recovering from your accident. He sends you his regards." Jack said as he remembered that he made a cover story on why Emily has to stay off from her part time job and it surprisingly worked as the boss and co-workers were wishing her to get well soon.
"Cool. Sorry you had to cover my shift for me." Emily said with a smile before giving Jack an apologetic look.
"Nah it's okay. Just as long as you're getting better." Jack said as he shrugged it off. He didn't mind covering her shift.
"Speaking of food, I've brought you kids some pizza. Pepperoni, everyone's favorite. And also vegetarian." June said as she pointed to two pizza boxes by the table by the TV and it still looks warm.
"Cool. I love pepperoni. Not a big fan of vegetarian pizza." Miko smiled.
"I know but you'll have to eat vegetarian pizza to be in great health. Jack will make sure that you eat the vegetarian one before eating the one with pepperoni." June said as she wanted the kids to be healthy.
"Sorry, guys." Jack rubs the back of his head as Miko shrugged.
"Well at least it won't be that bad. Because I've brought cool video games and cool movies. My whole monster movie collection. From Terror of Pterodactyls to two headed gorillas." Miko said as she grabbed her bag and showed them a small stack of video games and some CDs of monster movies.
"Thanks but I think we should just relax a bit. We've been playing video games and watching movies for a long time. It's starting to get boring. I just wanna, you know, relax." Emily said. She didn't mind watching or playing video games but it was getting boring.
"Take your time. I gotta go. I'm gonna be late for work." June said as she grabbed her bag.
She then gave Jack a hug and a kiss on the cheek before she went down the stairs.
"I'll see you later, Jack. Goodbye, everyone." June said as Raf and Miko waved.
"Bye, nurse Darby." They both said.
"Bye, mom." Jack added as Ratchet turned to June.
"Will you be using the ground bridge?" He asked as June nodded.
"You'd be doing me a favor, doctor." June smiled as she got into her car as Ratchet put the coordinates to the hospital.
"Activating the ground bridge. Have a safe journey." Ratchet said as she nodded.
"Thank you. Have a good day." June said as she turned on the engine and drove through the portal and disappeared from their sights as the ground bridge turned off.
"Well I'm hungry. Let's get some grub." Miko said as her stomach growled.
"Let's try to eat the vegetarian pizza first." Jack said as he opened the vegetarian pizza box as Raf took one slice and bites into it.
"Yeah, yeah I heard you." Miko rolled her eyes as she grabbed one slice and bit into it.
"Hey, Miko. There's a new monster truck competition on TV. Wanna see it?" Bulkhead asked as he knew that Miko likes monster trucks and whatnot on it.
"No can do. We're playing video games first. Maybe later." Miko said as she finished her slice as Bulkhead nodded in understanding.
"Have fun." Bulkhead said as he went to where Bumblebee is.
"We will. Wanna join us, Emily?" Miko asked as she gave Emily a slice of pizza as she took it gratefully and bites into it before swallowing.
"No, not today. I just wanna relax a little bit." Emily said as she took another bite.
"Don't mind if I join you." Jack said as he grabbed another controller after finishing his pizza slice.
Meanwhile back at the Nemesis, the Decepticons have been looking through locations to find different Energon deposits around Earth as Megatron has his back turned as he knew that Knock Out was behind him since he called him to the control room since he needs something to discuss with him.
"Knock Out." Megatron addressed him with his back turn and servos behind his back.
"Yes, Lord Megatron?" Knock Out kneel down before him.
"Has the shipment of Energon been brought to the ship?" Megatron asked as Knockout stood back up.
"Yes my liege. No report of any suspicious activity. Everything is quiet. Much too quiet, even for a fact." Knock Out said since there hasn't been any activity lately.
"Do not be fooled, Knock Out. The Autobots will soon begin their attack. But this time we will make sure they don't get out alive." Megatron said before Megatron came up to him and notified the warlord and medic that someone is contacting the Nemesis through the comm-link.
"Someone is making contact. Let's see what we have." Megatron said as he went to the computers to see who it was.
"Report." Megatron ordered and the familiar voice of Breakdown was heard through the speakers.
"Lord Megatron. I'm still looking for possible Energon mines near my position." Breakdown informed him since he was sent out to find more energon deposits and possible energon mines.
"And?" Megatron raised an optic ridge.
On the highway somewhere, Breakdown was driving down the highway and making sure not to bump into any cars. Being a Decepticon, he might be the enemy and wrecker but he respects the Earth laws like the speed limit.
"Nothing yet, sir. The Energon has found nothing yet." Breakdown said as he used his rearview mirror to look at the Energon cube that he brought along.
The Energon cube then started glowing and Breakdown was starting to pick up something with his scanners somewhere.
"Hold on. I'm getting something." Breakdown said as he took a detour to where the scanners were pointing.
Back at the Nemesis, the others waited patiently for his response and they got one.
"The signal is too far. I can't get a fix on it." Breakdown said with frustration in his tone.
"Fortunately someone can." Megatron reassured him as he turned to their communication specialist as he successfully pinpointed the signal somewhere in America.
"We have located the source of the signal. Follow the coordinates." Megatron said as Breakdown received the coordinates but it was still too far.
"But, sir, it's too far from where I'm now-" Breakdown started but was cut off by a growl from the warlord himself.
"Then drive faster." Megatron growled at him before turning off the communication as Starscream came in.
"Lord Megatron, I hope I can be of service to you today." Starscream bowed as he was hoping that Megatron could assign him on a mission since he hasn't done anything for the past days minus that certain incident when Skyquake who was shockingly been brought back to life.
"Actually you can, Starscream. KnockOut and you will depart to meet up with Breakdown. Do not fail me." Megatron said Starscream nodded.
"As you wish, Lord Megatron." Starscream said as Knock Out nodded and came beside Starscream as they both headed out.
"I'll go pick up the right tools for the mission." Knock Out said as both of them left the room.
Soundwave feels that sending Starscream might not be a good idea as he watches them go and Megatron could feel what Soundwave was feeling and had to agree with him.
"So you think that sending Starscream might result in failure? Rest assured, Soundwave, I know about Starscream's constant failures. Hopefully our enemies will get rid of him for us. Keep monitoring any sort of Autobot activity. I wanna know what they're up to." Megatron said as Soundwave nodded silently as he kept monitoring the activity of their enemies since they haven't been doing anything lately minus the patrols.
Back at the base the kids were chilling and hanging out as they finished the two boxes of pizza. Miko along with Jack and Raf were playing video games while Emily was drawing on her sketchbook while Bolty was resting beside her while gnawing on a bolt.
Suddenly the sound of three engines were being heard entering the base as they looked up and noticed three vehicles coming back. It was Cliffjumper as he was coming back from a scouting mission along with Smokescreen and Wheeljack.
"Did you find anything?" Ratchet asked curiously as he was double checking his project and seeing that he would be done in a few more moments.
The three of them transform as Smokescreen stretches his body slightly since they've been scouting for more than three hours.
"Nothing, Ratchet. Things are pretty quiet out there." Cliffjumper said as he shrugged and leaned against the wall as he watched the kids play video games with Arcee.
"How long before we get back in action? I'm starting to rust here." Smokescreen groaned slightly in boredom.
"Patience, Smokes. We will be back in action in no time." Bulkhead said as Smokescreen just vented slowly.
"Not too early I hope. We almost lost one of our teammates in an unknown dimension. Who knows what could have happened next." Arcee said as he was still worried about what happened a few days ago and she didn't want Emily getting hurt again when she's still healing.
"We mustn't worry about what could have happened today or tomorrow. Maintaining focus is our primary most of our top priority." Ratchet said before the scanners have detected something.
"Decepticons?" Smokescreen perked up and hoped that it was.
"I don't think so." Ratchet said as he immediately went to the computers and it showed that it indicated an Energon signal from somewhere.
"It's an Energon signal. Coming from an Energon mine but it's deep underground." Ratchet said as he saw that it was indeed deep underground which confused them as Emily looked up in confusion. How can they detect energon from deep underground?
"That's weird. Energon mines that are too deep can't be detected." Wheeljack said as Ratchet knew that something caused the Energon signal to be detected.
"Not unless there's a leak. Which there is. That's why we were able to detect the Energon. It's coming from a place called Oregon." Ratchet said as he pinpointed the location somewhere.
"Never heard of that place. Must be nice." Wheeljack said as Jack perked up at the name. He knew that place since he went there for a camping trip before with the entire class.
"Oregon is well known for its forest." Jack said as Optimus came in after getting a comm-link by Ratchet who explained what was going on.
"We must leave immediately. The Decepticons might have detected the same signal. Bulkhead, Wheeljack and Cliffjumper, prepare for departure. The rest of the team will stay here in case of an emergency." Optimus said as Bulkhead, Wheeljack and Cliffjumper all nodded as the rest understood.
"Sure thing." Arcee said as Cliffjumper sent her a smile as she smiled back.
Bumblebee whirred in agreement as Smokescreen groaned in dismay at this.
"Aw man. Why am I still sitting on the bench?" Smokescreen crossed his arms as Arcee sent him a look.
"Because Optimus tells you so." Arcee said as Wheeljack just punched his shoulder gently.
"Better luck next time, rookie." Wheeljack said.
"Ratchet, prepare the ground bridge." Optimus said as Ratchet tried to lock on the coordinates but couldn't.
"This is weird." Ratchet said as he tried again.
Ratchet tries to lock on the coordinates of the mines again but for some reason he can't get a fix on the coordinates to open up the ground bridge.
"I can't upload the ground bridge. Let me see."
Ratchet checks if he can find a suitable place to open up the ground bridge. As fortune would have it, he found a suitable way to open up the ground bridge somewhere in the forest.
"I've found a set of coordinates that's a little too far from where the signal is but it's close to Oregon." Ratchet said.
"Looks like we will be doing the whole detour." Cliffjumper jokes.
"You must be careful. Oregon is a place full of humans." Ratchet warned them as Optimus nodded.
"Maintaining our cover is crucial to the success of this mission." Optimus said.
"Try not to screw this one up." Arcee said as Cliffjumper looked at her in confusion.
"You're saying that to me or Wheeljack here?" Cliffjumper asked as he pointed to himself then Wheeljack in confusion.
"I'm talking to both of you." Arcee smirked playfully as Bulkhead laughed slightly.
"Ow that hurts." Bulkhead said as he stopped laughing.
Bumblebee whirred in agreement to that while the ground bridge activated as Ratchet turned to them.
"Time to leave." Ratchet said.
"Let's bring the hurt shall we, Jackie?" Bulkhead said as Wheeljack grinned up to him
"You read my mind." He said.
"Autobots, roll out!" Optimus said as the four of them ran to the portal before transforming and disappearing through it and came on the other side as the others watched them.
"Come back safely." Ratchet said as Arcee sighed.
"Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens." Arcee said as Emily sighed silently.
"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll find something to do." Emily said as she smiled up to Arcee who smiled back as she went back to drawing.
A game over sound was heard as Miko groaned in dismay.
"Oh man! That's the third time this week!" Miko exclaimed as Jack laughed.
"We beat you." Jack cheered.
"Yeah." Raf grinned as both of the two boys high five as Jack looked at Miko and expected her to want another round.
"Want another revenge?" Jack asked but Miko shook her head and put the controller down.
"No thanks. I'm done for the day." Miko said as Jack shrugged.
"Suite yourself." Jack and Raf continue playing as Miko watches them play.
Meanwhile Emily was drawing some sort of sketch in her drawing book.
"Let's see... a little here... some here... No wait... ah, here." Emily muttered to herself as she added a little more on her drawing as Miko got curious.
"Whatcha doing, Ems?" Miko asked curiously as Emily was a little startled and tried to hide her book from view.
"What? Oh nothing." Emily said nervously as she didn't want Miko to see her art but Miko wasn't falling for it.
"Really? Sounds important to be nothing. Can I see?" Miko said as she went to take a peek but Emily quickly shielded her book away quickly.
"No. I-It's not done yet." Emily said as she didn't want Miko to see it yet.
"Oh come on. Show me, show me." Miko started to reach for it.
"No. I told you it's not done yet. Emily said as she moved her sketch book from Miko's reach as the 15 year old tried to reach for it.
"Come on, show me." Miko insisted more.
Emily struggles to prevent Miko from grabbing her sketchbook but the girl succeeds and finally sees what Emily was drawing. A battle armor suit and it was still in progress but the sketch was nice.
"Whoa ho ho. Nice. Hey, guys, check this out." Miko smiled as she called Raf and Jack as the two turned to her as they paused the game.
"What is it?" Raf asked curiously.
"See for yourself." Miko said as she showed them the drawing Emily was making.
"Wow cool." Rad smiled at that as Bulkhead and Bumblebee walked up and looked at them curiously as Emily groaned silently.
"What is it, kids?" Bulkhead asked curiously as Bumblebee whirred since he was curious.
"Emily's drawing a battle armor with her in it." Miko said as she showed them Emily's drawing. It wasn't done yet but it was coming out perfectly.
The two bots saw this and were impressed as Arcee became curious as she went over and saw what they were looking at.
"Nice outfit." Arcee said to Emily.
"Just add a cape and it will look awesome." Jack said but Emily was able to grab her sketchbook back from Miko as Bolty was perched on her shoulder.
"Don't say that. This is serious." Emily snapped at Jack as he quickly raised his hands in surrender.
"Sorry I didn't mean to say that." Jack apologized as Emily sighed.
"I know. I'm sorry. It's just that... I've finally realized that I'm not invincible. And one day I might get hurt worse than this. So I was thinking that maybe a suit for battling could protect me." Emily said as she closed her sketchbook and thought that she could finish it later in a bit. Ratchet heard this and scoffed.
"Oh puh-lease. As if a suit could do that." Ratchet scoffed at the idea as they looked at him.
"Who knows? It's not a bad idea. I've read a lot of comics about it. One of the casual things about a hero's origins is that they always build their own gadgets. Emily could do the same." Miko said as she saw that it was a great idea.
"Miko's right. You guys have a lot of Cybertronian tech. Maybe you could help her with that." Jack said since he saw the prospect of Emily with a battle suit on.
"This isn't a human story, Jack. This is the real world. Enough foolishness, so please let me go back to work." Ratchet said as he went back to his project. Emily sighed dejectedly at this but knew that he was right.
"Ratchet is right. It won't work. Let's just forget about it." Emily told them as she tore the drawing from her sketch book and started to draw a new one.
The kids sighed and went back to what they were doing before as Arcee, who felt that Ratchet was out of line, went to give him a piece of her mind when she saw Emily tore the paper that had the drawing away.
"You just had to say the first thing that came to your mind, did you?" Arcee sent Ratchet a stern look as he looked mildly surprised but sighed when he noticed that Emily was drawing something else other than the drawing of the battle armor.
"I'm sorry if my methods of straightening these kids out don't suit you." Ratchet said as Arcee put a servo on her hips.
"It's not a question if it suits me or not. Have you forgotten that Emily got injured? First it was Megatron and then the shadow zone. What's next?" Arcee said as she gave him a small glare as Ratchet gave her a look.
"You speak as if I have forgotten what happened to her. I care about Emily a lot." Ratchet said but Arcee was trying to keep herself from smacking his helm.
"If that's what you think. Fine. I'm going outside. I need some air." Arcee told the others before she walked to the entrance of the base and transformed and drove away to clear her thoughts.
Miko made sure that Emily and the others weren't listening before she started talking in a whisper to Raf and Jack since she wanted to help Emily out as she snatched the crumpled paper.
"Hey, guys, I got an idea." Miko whispered as Jack and Raf looked at her.
"I'm not sure I like the sound of that." Jack whispered since every idea Miko has always doesn't come out right.
"Hey Emily's right. A suit could help her." Miko rolled her eyes at Jack before getting to the point as Raf looked curious but doubtful.
"Miko, this isn't a comic book you know. It's not like you can give her a suit." Raf whispered as Miko suddenly had that little spark in her eyes as she grinned as a plan formed in her mind.
"Maybe we can. I think I have some old costumes I wanted to get rid off plus some Halloween costumes." Miko whispered as Raf figured what Miko was trying to say.
"I think I have some too." Raf whispered as he wanted to help their friend.
"What about you, Jack?" Miko whispered-asked the 16 year old as Jack gave her a look.
"Are you serious? I'm 16 years old. I don't do tricks or treats anymore." Jack whispered only to get a small angry look from Miko.
"Okay, I might have some old costumes." Jack whispered as Miko gave him a doubtful look as he rolled his eyes at her.
"What? I never said I didn't like to wear costumes on Halloween." Jack defended himself quietly.
"Yeah right. Look, here's the plan. We all go back home and bring Emily those costumes and some comic books if we have them." Miko explained in a whisper to them her plan as Jack and Raf looked at her in confusion.
"What for?" Raf whisper-asked.
"Duh for inspiration. Artists need inspiration." Miko whispered only for them to get startled when Emily spoke up.
"Uh, guys? What are you talking about?" Emily asked in confusion as she noticed that they were whispering something.
"Nothing! What are you talking about? We weren't talking. It's not like we have a plan. Right, Jack?" Miko grinned nervously as Emily was eyeing them suspiciously with curiosity.
"If we do, I wouldn't know anything about it." Jack said.
"Same here." Raf agreed as Emily eyed them a little before shaking her head.
"Okay? I'm gonna go back to draw my sketch." Emily said as she started to continue her sketch.
"That's a... good idea. Perhaps we could accompany you. art project. Hey, guys, how about we go to our homes and bring the stuff?" Miko said as Jack and Raf looked at her in confusion. What was she talking about?
"The stuff?" They both ask as Miko looks at them.
"Yeah you know the stuff needed for our art project?" Miko said as she gave a wink and Raf and Jack instantly knew what she was trying to say.
"Oh, right that stuff." Jack said as he stood up as Emily watched them go down the stairs.
"Yeah we should go get it." Raf said as Miko look to Smokescreen.
"Hey, Smokes, think you can come with us?" Miko asked as Smokescreen looked at her in confusion.
"Uh, sure. Bumblebee and I can do that." Smokescreen said as he stood up as Bumblebee came up as he whirred in confusion but showed them that it was okay if that was what the three wanted.
"Okay, guys, let's do this." Miko grinned as Smokescreen nodded.
"You got it." He said as both of him and Bumblebee transformed as Jack and Raf got in Bumblebee and Smokescreen's vehicle mode.
"Ratchet, open the ground bridge." Miko said as Ratchet gave Miko an incredulous look.
"What? Are you serious? The ground bridge is used for important transportation. It's not a public bus." Ratchet told her sternly as Miko rolled her eyes but she was really serious.
"Oh, come on, Doc. It's important. Please, please. Do it for Emily." Miko said as she gestured to Emily who took a break and seemed to have taken a small nap.
Ratchet thinks about it as he glances at the resting form of Emily who was slightly curled up around Bolty before coming to a decision. He doesn't like it but seeing how Miko and the others are determined to help their friend. He can't seem to say no to that as he sighed.
"Ah... very well. Just call me when you want to open a portal back here." Ratchet said as he put the coordinates and opened the ground bridge.
"We will. It shouldn't take long. Let's go, guys." Miko gave Ratchet a thumbs up before getting inside Bumblebee and the two mech drove through the ground bridge.
They came out of the portal and appeared in an alleyway.
"We're here." Jack said as he came out of Smokescreen along with Miko and Raf to discuss the plan.
"So what's our plan?" Jack asked Miko.
"We separate. We each go to our homes, bring the costumes with you and we'll meet back here as fast as we can." Miko told them the plan.
"Bee can take me and Miko to my home." Raf said as Bumblebee whirred.
"Smokescreen and I will go to mine." Jack said as Smokescreen opened the door for him.
"Hop in, Jack." Smokescreen said as Jack got inside before Smokescreen drove off in the direction of Jack's house.
After they left, Raf gets inside Bumblebee and waits for Miko to get in as well.
"What are you waiting for, Miko? Get in?" Raf looked out to her as Miko shook her head since she knew the direction of her host parents' house from where they were.
"Don't worry my host parents' house is not too far. I'll get there in no time." Miko said before she took off running to the house's direction as Raf shrugged while Bumblebee rolled up the window.
"Let's go, Bee." Raf said as he buckled the seatbelt on.
Bumblebee whirred as he closed his door and locked it before he started driving towards Raf house to complete the little mission.
Meanwhile at Oregon, Optimus along with Cliffjumper, Bulkhead and Wheeljack were walking through the forest of Oregon.
"Man. There's a lot of trees here. How far is the signal?" Wheeljack said before asking Bulkhead who has the scanner.
"Very far." Bulkhead said as Cliffjumper sighed.
"This is gonna be a long mission." Cliffjumper said before he noticed something and went to it whilst hiding in the trees.
"Remember, Autobots. We cannot be seen by humans." Optimus told them whilst admiring the plant life of the forest.
"Lucky for us. I found a way to get there fast." Cliffjumper said before whistling for them to come over as they stop.
The others turned around and went over to check what Cliffjumper found and found a perfect way to get to the location. The forest was close to a road and it was perfect.
"A highway. Nobody sees us." Bulkhead said with a grin.
"We can drive the whole way." Wheeljack smirks as Cliffjumper grins back.
"Good work, Cliffjumper. Let's not waste anymore time." Optimus nodded to Cliffjumper before he transformed and drove down the highway.
"Thought he'd never ask." Wheeljack smirks before transforming into his vehicle mode with the others in their vehicle modes and drives down the highway and quickly catches up with Optimus.
