He was brought out of his daze when he heard her laughing "Who'd have thought one moment you're a robber trying to rob and slit my throat open and the next you wanna be a confidante? she asked sarcastically.

Somehow, he was enticed by the way she was distressed, it made his heart melt, and for some reason, he felt like protecting her from all her demons.

Without thinking, he pulled her into an embrace she was too exhausted to fight back so she burst into tears and cried on his shoulder for what seemed like hours.

When she had calmed down, she looked at his shirt which was drenched with her tears and started apologizing for the inconvenience but he told her it was no worries. She thanked him for being a shoulder to cry on in her distressed moments.

He offered to take her back home which she accepted, she didn't trust herself to drive home safe from all the drama that went down today.
