Erza and Eudoxia were rummaging through the cabinet when I arrived in the kitchen and they didn't seem to have any luck in finding what they wanted.
"They're not going to be in any of those," I said as I walked past them. "From what I remember all the candy, cake, and other sweet treats were kept here."
I opened the door to the panty then after a quick search found what I was looking for. I pulled out a packet of plain iced cupcakes and a variety tin of cookies. Erza's eyes lit up when she caught sight of them, and she rushed over immediately.
"Are you sure it's only an echo?" I asked as Erza opened up the tin.
Eudoxia chuckled. "Yes, I'm sure, now what do you have there?"
I handed the cupcakes over and watched for the next five minutes as they tore through the snacks. Erza somehow managed to finish all the cookies which was quite a shock since i could only manage a few before I felt sick. As for Eudoxia, like she'd down with the pizza she gobbled the cupcakes down in rapid succession.
"Now that we're done, can we head back to the travel room?" I asked. "I'm interested in checking out the universes we have to choose from."
Eudoxia agreed and Erza and I followed her back up to the third floor and to the travel room, which was what I was going to call it for now. Maybe I'd think of something else alter, but there was no rush. As we headed to the room, I couldn't help but notice Erza glancing at me every so often.
"Are you ok, Erza?" I asked curiously.
"I'm fine," she replied, though there was a hint of something in her voice that I couldn't recognize.
We arrived at the travel room and Eudoxia quickly made her way to the table and placed her hand on the orb. From the nebula of swirling color, the four dots of light rose up.
"These are the four you have to choose from," She stated. "We can glean some information about them, but only a little bit."
"Anything that can help me decide," I replied.
Eudoxia's eyes narrowed in focus then the dots of light expanded into four oval screens. They were all black, but then a moment later, the furthest dot to my right changed and the darkness faded to reveal a scenic forest. It looked pretty normal at first, and I was about to move my attention to the next screen when a figure burst through the trees. It looked like an armored man. He was limping, and the reason why soon became apparent as four small greenish figures burst through the tree after him. It didn't take long to recognize them as goblins. They were small green-skinned humanoids, and two of them had clubs in their hands, while the others held large rocks.
"So fantasy I guess," I remarked as the scene faded into black. "The fact we've got you Erza and I've got blade powers could mean that's the one we go with. If they have goblins then they might have magic."
"The chance to fight with my blade against opponents does sound good," Erza replied. "Though we should view the other three as well."
I turned back and nodded to Eudoxia who narrowed her eyes ocean again.
The second screen showed what I could only describe as a giant figure made out of water fighting a bunch of odd-looking humanoid creatures. I couldn't see much detail, but I could tell they had blue skin and were wearing little clothing.
"Water world? That's definitely not it. I'm not a good swimmer and if I've got the devil fruit weakness then I won't last long."
"I can fight in water, but not as effectively as on land," Erza noted.
The next screen showed a city in the middle of a firefight, except there were people flying around flinging bolts of energy at one another, and large mechs fought in the skies. That piqued my interest since a more modern world could be easier to traverse.
The last was probably the oddest of them all since it seemed to be a world of crimson sand, bare of anything else. It reminded me of pictures of the surface of Mars.
I thought about each world and it wasn't hard to come to a conclusion. The water world was off since it was too risky, and the desert just looked desolate and while the modern world seemed ok, I didn't like my chances against any potential futuristic tech so that left the fantasy world. Erza and I could easily pass ourselves off as bounty hunters or mercenaries and our clothing wouldn't stand out too much. Erza would certainly ft in there, and I could already imagine her ripping through a horde of goblins with ease
"I think it's the first," I said as I turned to Erza. "You're coming with me, what do you think?"
"I agree," She replied. "It seems most familiar to me."
"How about you Eudoxia?"
Eudoxia quirked an eyebrow. "I'm not going to be coming."
"Yes, but I still value your opinion," I replied.
She blushed slightly at my words. "Very well then. I think your choice is very sensible and your reasons seem sound, though I recommend you rest before you depart. That will also give us some time to finish what we started."
I gulped at her words, and my cock twitched in my pants. "G-good point. Erza, you can pick any of the second-floor rooms to stay in if you want."
"Can I not stay with you?" She asked.
"You want to stay… with me?"
I was baffled, but then I remembered what Eudoxia had said about my companions and what my subconscious had done. With that knowledge, it made a lot more sense.
"Ermm, you can if you want to, but erm…"
Eudoxia sighed. "Me and David here are going be having intercourse, and we'd like some privacy if you don't mind."
"I see." Erza nodded. "Well then I shall give you your space, but in return when I lay with him you shall do the same for me."
"Of course," Eudoxia replied.
When she lay with me? Did that mean what I thought it meant?
"Come now, David," Eudoxia purred. "Let's go to your bedroom."
I muttered a soft goodbye to Erza as Eudoxia dragged me off.
