Chương 138: Skaar Line(One Piece/Marvel)-2
Charlotte Linlin was feeling… something. Specifically, she was feeling something on her face. Whatever it was, she didn't like it. Yet it also felt rather familiar too. Like she had felt whatever it was she was feeling before, long ago when she had… oh.
She was feeling hurt.
The feeling on her face was… pain.
How long had it been? How long had it been since the last time someone had actually managed to hurt her? Maybe since the first few years of her voyage with Streusen? She wasn't sure how though... definitely not the marines and their puny weapons. Yet this weirdo with green skin had managed to actually make her feel pain with only one punch.
How... interesting.
"This day just might be interesting after all." The pinkette said as she got up from the ground, intending to go back to the bar and gave the green skin a piece of her mind.
"You!" How fortunate that the green skin also had the same idea as her. "The price of coming near my soul is heavy!" He yelled as he ran towards her, each of his steps causing the island to shake violently.
"Zeus! Prometheus!" Linlin yelled and her homies appeared by her side. "Battle mode!"
"Yes, Mama!" They chorused together before the cartoonish sun became a huge ball of raging fire and the fluffy cloud turned into a dark storm cloud with purple lightning coming out of it. And then they both stuck to her arms.
"Drop dead!"
"You first!" And then her fist, covered with Prometheus' flames, clashed with the green skin's fist and the island shook once more for a moment before Linlin found herself overpowered and flung away once more.
"This is getting ridiculous." She muttered as she got up. She was proud of her physical strength, she had been strong enough to punch through ships as a kid after all, so getting overpowered again and again was starting to get on her nerves.
"Heavenly Bonbon!" She cried out and had Prometheus spit out several fire balls at the green skin and grinned as she saw them hit him. But her grin faded as the smoke cleared and showed that green skin was still standing, except he was no longer green skinned. He had a gray skin instead, a shade that was similar to rocks.
"A devil fruit?" She asked herself, wondering what kind of fruit it was. Ishi Ishi no Mi perhaps, except she heard that fruit was meant to allow one become one with rocks and controlling them, not turning their skin into it.
"Don't get distracted, bitch!" The now gray skinned green skin roared as he jumped towards her, which gave Linlin the perfect chance to deal with him.
"Zeus!" She yelled as she thrust the first with the cloud homie forward.
"Yes, Mama!" And the living cloud took a deep breath before expelling a huge gust of wind. Angled at the perfect angle to send her opponent far away from her.
Right towards the sea, where the green skin sunk with a huge splash.
"Heh, shame it ended this way. Had fun though, wish I had gotten your name." She said as she looked at the sea before turning around and walking away, already thinking about what she would be eating later on. Streusen could make an eclair, she hadn't had those on weeks after all, or maybe a soufflé could be nice too.
Her thoughts of many many different types of desserts she wanted to eat were interrupted by a huge splashing sound and the island violently shaking once more and as she turned to her back; her eyes widened to size of dinner plates as she saw green skin standing before her, water dripping from his hair as he glared at her.
"How the hell…" Linlin's question remained unfinished as the green skin punched her in the gut, this time with his fist glowing a bluish white, and sent her flying away once more.
"Remember this!" She could hear him yell while she was in the air and her eyes widened as he appeared before her once more, in the air, with his hands locked together and glowing with bluish white light once more.
"I am Skaar! And I'm the strongest one there is!" And then he smashed his hands down at her and sent her to the ground at a ridiculous velocity.
And as she crashed to the earth, felt her bones and started to feel her consciousness fading away; she made a decision.
She would have this Skaar, one way or another!

"Stupid pink hair." Skaar grumbled as he felt the wind in his hair, having been sailing away from the island where he had defeated the pink haired and very violent woman for a few days but still rather grouchy about their fight.
Merely remembering the fact that she had tried to reach to his soul made him angry but he tried his best to keep his anger in check. It wouldn't do well if he lost control of the Old Power and made his makeshift raft, made out of a cliff from the last island he was using Old Power to move, fall apart in the middle of the sea.
A problem solved soon when he landed on the next island, unfortunately that brought another problem which was the fact that he had to control himself if he didn't want to sink the island.
Stupid puny islands.
Speaking of puny, a lot of people were going towards the ship with lots of luggage; and despairing faces.
"Hey." He said as he walked up to an old men in a line waiting for a ship. "Why is everyone leaving?"
"Oh it's terrible." The old man said with a sigh, seemingly unbothered by Skaar's appearance. "Some sort of demon took residence in the near mountains and it comes down every night to ransack our homes and steal our food. And no one in the island is strong enough to fight the demon off, he showed that very clearly." The man said, tears gathering around his eyes but Skaar was not listening anymore. He had heard what he wished to hear.
Now it was time to see whether this 'demon' was worth playing around with.
