Chương 403: 8.3 Magical Cat Familiar

Lu Yizhou awoke to the sensation of something rough and wet sliding against his cheek. Startled, he snapped his eyes open only to come face to face with a pair of… slit ruby eyes? 

"Meow~" The fluffy pure white cat snuggled closer to him, purring with its long tail swishing back and forth. Still a bit disoriented, Lu Yizhou reached out to support the chubby feline and stroked its warm silky fur, making the cat purr even harder. It was… very soothing, to say the least.

He soon grew alert enough to scan his surroundings. He was in a narrow room that only contained a single bed which he was laying on now. The ground was shaking slightly beneath him and a glance outside the small window beside him showed the blurred moving scenery of green mountain hills with the sky dusted in amber hues of the setting sun far in the distance.

A guess popped up in his mind.

He was in a… train berth?
