"delicious! You're still a good cook, mom!" Daisy exclaimed, praising her mother for the wonderful dish she served.
"Hahaha, stop complimenting me, you know I get shy." Daisy's mom laughed with a lady-like demeanor and said.
"I'll leave you guys first, I'll just rinse these utensils first ok?" Daisy's mom stated as she stood up and gather all of the plates and other utensils on the table.
"No, I'll help," Daisy said as she also stood up and helped her mother at the dishes.
"You boys talk for a bit, I'll be back quick" This was the last thing Daisy said as she headed to the kitchen where the sink was.
Tobi and Blue were left as an awkward silence surrounded the table.
"so....do you like pokemons?" Tobi decided to break the silence as he initiated a conversation with the kid.
"I love pokemons!" Blue who was still a child answered honestly especially when the topic is about pokemons.
"Really?! So does me! in fact im a trainer!" Tobi took the chance to get more close to this gifted child.
"You're a trainer?!" Blue exclaimed as his eyes sparkles, he look down toward Tobi's waist, and there it was, a four Pokeball hanging in his belt.
"A Pokemons! can I see them, please?!" He once again yelled in exaggeration while begging Tobi to release his pokemons.
"You can see them but...."
"but?...."
"I can't release them indoors, your mom might get angry." Tobi explained why he can't release his pokemon.
"Then let's do it outside!" Blue suggested and without even waiting for Tobi to reply, he dragged him outside.
To didn't fight back and let Blue drag him outside which just make his plan easier.
"We're in our yard, it's spacious here so no need to worry about damaging anything, now can I see your pokemons?" Blue explained in a hurry as he couldn't wait to see his sister's boyfri-*cough* friend's pokemons.
Hearing this, Tobi no longer hesitates and releases his pokemons one by one.
"Come out!" He yelled as four silhouettes are shaped in front of them.
"Scy!"
"Zu~"
"Eggxe~"
"Phanpy!"
Scyther, Zubat, Eggxecute, and Phanpy respectively exclaimed as they got out of the Pokeball.
The three Pokemon Tobi caught back in the forest while Scyther was the one he kidnapped back in Viridian Forest.
Tobi took an extreme vigilance for this mission as he decided to leave his main pokemon, Torterra, Azumarill, and Rhydon in the Viridian forest where they'll continue to train and bring a whole new set of Pokemons.
He knew that blatantly showing his Ace pokemons in the public would cause some problems in the future.
Tobi's pokemon's strength was unusual especially since he only started his journey, for the rich family it might not be a problem but for a commoner like Tobi, it might raise some eyebrows.
The Alliance would gladly open their arms wide to those talented people but Tobi was much more than that.
As soon as those arrogant high-class people learned about Tobi's Pokemon bizarre improvement, they will one hundred percent try to snatch it.
"Wow! Cool!" Blue's eyes sparkle even brighter as he stares at Tobi's pokemon who was already starting to get uncomfortable at his stares.
"A Zubat, Scyther, and an Eggxecute!" Blue who was a Pokemon fanatic recognized three of Tobi's pokemons.
"What pokemon is this?" Blue asked while pointing at Phanpy.
It wasn't odd Blue did not recognize Phanpy who originally originate in the Johto region.
Even though the Alliance was trying to bring back pokemons from Johto to Kanto, the people were still trying to adjust and their knowledge about each other was still lacking.
"This is Phanpy, a pokemon from Johto." Tobi introduced Phanpy's species to Blue who listen earnestly.
"Cool!" Blue exclaimed after learning about Phanpy's species.
"Can I play with them?" Blue begged Tobi as he look at him with hopeful eyes.
"Ok just be careful." Tobi didn't mind as he gave Blue permission without hesitation.
"Yehey!" Blue happily exclaimed as he raises his hands and run toward Phanpy.
He rides in Phanpy's back as they play robber and cop where Scyther and Zubat act as a robber.
Blue and Tobi's pokemons played for a while taking a break feeling a little tired.
"Blue?! who's pokemons are these??" An old man wearing a white coak and was around his early fifties asked Blue as if they were close.
"Grandpa! This pokemons was from brother Tobi!" Blue explained while pointing at Tobi in his right.
"Oh? can I ask who this young man was?" Blue's Grandpa also known as Professor Oak asked Tobi.
"I am Tobi sir, Daisy's friend." Tobi also recognized Professor Oak and introduced himself politely perceiving how dangerous this old man in front of him was.
Professor Oak was an extremely influential person and was popular all around the world as the World's best Professor to the point that many people only knew him for that and forgot his former title.
'Kanto Champion'
That's right, Professor Oak was a Trainer and not only a normal trainer but a Champion which he held for 5 years before deciding to retire and become a scientist instead.
"Daisy's friend?! has she come home??" Professor Oak was stunned hearing about Daisy's arrival but quickly compose and remain calm which didn't last long.
Cold sweat dripped in his back recalling his promise to Daisy about her pokemon.
" *Ehem* Nice to meet you!" Professor Oak greeted as he raises his hand forward for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you to sir." Tobi didn't shy away and gladly took Professor Oak's hand and shake it.
Professor Oak then looks around as he observes Tobi's pokemons one by one.
"Is this all your pokemons?" Professor Oak asked after noticing how well trained the pokemons were.
His eyes were focused on Scyther perceiving the potential it possesses.
Even though Professor Oak doesn't possess a cheat skill like the system, he was experienced enough to discern Pokemon's potential just by looking.
'His future won't be simple.' Professor Oak speculated noticing Tobi's pokemons potentials.
"Grandpa!" The two heard Daisy's voice from afar as they turn their head in the sound direction and saw her waving.
"Daisy!" Professor Oak shouted in excitement seeing his Granddaughter after a long time as he ran toward her with his arms open wide.
He tries to hug Daisy but unfortunately, she dodged as Professor Oak hugged nothing but air.
His face slammed into the ground as his face was covered in the dirt of shame.
"Hmph!" Daisy pouted as she still hasn't forgotten Professor Oak's promise which he didn't fulfill.
"Where are my pokemon?!" Daisy said in an angry tone with a fierce face scaring even Blue who was watching from afar.
"I-it's in the Lab!" Professor Oak finds it hard to talk as he stutters in fear while sitting in front of Daisy.
"Come on, let's get your pokemon quick!" Professor Oak stated as he stood up and immediately head toward his lab which wasn't far from the Oak villa.
"No need to be harsh." Tobi stated while gently patting Daisy's shoulder as they follow Professor Oak in the Lab.
"H-hey wait for me!" Blue hurriedly said as he also head to the lab.
