Chương 94: Chapter 12

He stood up and tidied his clothes. He looks down and put back the small box in his pocket. "Rackie, can I propose again?" he asked again. I move forward to make him look at me and I grin at him.

"You can have more takes if you want, what I want to say earlier is I want you to stand because you look like you are in a pain besides, I don't want someone kneeling in front of me. I am not a god; you can simply do your proposal by standing in front of me or sitting next to me as long as you are comfortable. You don't need to do your proposal like how it is seen by others, or how people expect it. You just need to be sincere in what you do and that's enough." I said as I hug him to comfort him from the rejection that he felt.

"Okay." He said then pulls out the small box again, open it and look at me. "Abstract Wrightwood, marry me." as he says it, he pulls out the ring and holds my hand, waiting for me to answer. I smile at him and gently nod as my way of saying yes. His hands are shaking while putting the ring on my finger. He kisses my hand and hugs me.

I also hug him. "Isn't it nice that you do it your way?" I said as I tap his back.

"Yes, much better than the first one." He replied as he sniffs.

"Hey, are you crying?" I ask as I try to pull away to see.

"Rackie, you don't know how you made me happy. Thank you."

"I just nod, Terric. I should be the one to thank you for waiting patiently with me, for loving me, for giving me all you can just to make me feel I am enough. I hope, soon… I can give that back." I said.

He shook his head. "Your yes to this proposal as my soon-to-be wife is more than enough. The thought that you'll try is enough."

Before we drive back to River's house we went to the Paradise bakeshop to buy some sweets for River and Lily then visit the Go brothers.

"What's up?" Wise was the one who welcomed us.

"We're fine. We are just here to visit you." Master replied.

"Good timing! My brother wants to ask you something about the invitation card. He was about to call you but maybe he is busy. Come inside first so you can talk to him." Wise said.

When we went inside, their house is messy. Wit is on the dining table sleeping with all the papers around him, an open laptop in front of him and his phone is blinking. Wisdom was sitting on the couch but he is sleeping as well. I look at Wise who was trying to tidy up the papers on the floor.

"Sorry, Rackie for the mess, we aren't usually like this. You know how Wisdy is strict when it comes to tidiness. Wit's exam is near that is why for the past few days he is doing all the things he can so he could pass while this brother here has had a lot on his plate over the past few months. I don't know what is going on with him but he isn't in himself lately."

I nod. "Well, we won't stay any longer if they are like that. I think Wisdom will call me if it's urgent." Master said.

When we were about to go, Wisdom open his eyes. "Oh, good timing, Master!" he said. then he searches over the papers on the center table. "I was thinking about what your whole name is since we want to put your whole name on the invitation card. I was so busy that I forgot to call you earlier."

Master looks at him with amusement. Well, I could see what was he thinking with that kind of look. I won't mistake it, he thinks: I wish I could be that alert after waking up from all the workload. "Master Majesty is my given name, Hegemony is my middle name and Meander is my last name," he replied.

I blink a few times and then look at Wisdom who is a bit shocked from hearing his name. "Wow! Your parents thought of your name," he commented.

"Well, not really. My brothers were the ones who name me. As you can see, it starts with my brother King. Well, my mother was the one who name him; Victor just came from dad because he said it is next to mom's name, Victoria. It is his way to honor my mother's labor. As for the name of my brother Duke, it was my brother King who name him Duke although he was just four years old at the time, then the second name Sovran came from the area where there is a supreme political power that was held during that time.

"As for my name… Duke gave me the name Master because when they saw me, the nurses were too many to serve when I was born so it seems like I am their master or something. During the time I was born, King was nine, when he heard Duke as if I am a master, he called me your majesty. They both insist to name me master and majesty so our parents didn't have the chance to name me. I believe they wanted to name me, Count Lourd." Master explains.

"Now that you mention it, why do they call you Lou?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Because of the Lourd, although it is not on my name dad wants to call me that name so it became my nickname in the house, which made River and Charact call me as well."

"Wow! Your name has its history. If you were named by your parents, Count Lourd, then Rackie what will you call him instead of Terric?" Wise asks unexpectedly.

I laugh. "Let me think… maybe CL or Ou, since both of the names have the letter o and u, the only difference is C and L, and NT and RD, right? If I put those differences together, it'll be Cnt Lrd which will be nothing but letters."

"I've been thinking, why Terric?" Wisdom asks.

"Oh… To shorten the word I made, Masterrific because his cooking skills are terrific." I replied.

"Anyway, we have to go now before dinner; we will fetch the twins to our friend's house. You can call me anytime if you have other questions."

When we finally got to River's house, we were a bit shocked that her house is open so we hurried to see River was pushing a man away from her. Master was the first one to move and pull the man away from River while I help her stand up. When I look behind me, Master was about to punch the man but I called his name to stop him because I saw Lily crying in the corner with the twins.

"Lou, I am okay." River said. "Ikon, leave," she commands then went to where Lily is.

Master loosens his grip and pushes him. "You heard her, now get out of here," Master said.

"No, I will not leave unless I knew who the father of those twins she showed me was."

Master and I look at each other and he smirks at me. I guess, our plan worked… it's just that we didn't expect the outcome to be like this. River went out again to get the twins from her playhouse of Lily. The man named, Ikon wants to follow River but Master stops him.

"One more step and I will not hesitate to punch you," Master warns.

"You are out of this, River, and I—"

"We no longer have anything to do with each other, Mr. Ikon Limn." River said firmly. "As I said, we may have one common concern that is Lily but you don't have the right to know who I will love and give myself to."

I saw Ikon was trying to control his anger. "Just let me know who is the father?" he asks as if he is about to cry.

"I am," Master said confidently, well that's because he is the father of the twins.

The moment I glance at what Ikon would look like, he suddenly punches Master and Master lost his balance. When I saw Master hit his head on the edge of the center table, I lost all my rationale and attack him with a kick. I can hear River asking if Master is okay while I am still attacking Ikon who was able to keep up with the kicks and punches I am giving. Then, I felt a strong grip behind me.

"I am fine." He said as he try to catch his breath. "River said that she only send the picture to him with the caption, Lily with the twins," he whispers to my ear. I turn to look at him and check his head, it's bleeding. "I am fine; I am more worried because you are bleeding way too much than I am."
