The instant Gideon saw his lover, standing straight and without a hole in her chest, it was straight tunnel vision.
His desire for revenge got kicked to the side and he wanted nothing more than to go and embrace her. And so he did.
Ignoring the weakness in his body, Gideon limped over to Lisk who also ran to embrace him.
"Your okay! You're alright!" It wasn't clear whether he was saying that to Lisk or to himself, but the tears streaming down his face made it obvious just how happy he was.
