Chương 17: Chapter 17
When the door opened Raven was in disbelief, another girl she didn't know was staring at her. Raven felt her blood start to boil, Damien had another girl in the room and had the audacity to kiss her.
Before the girl could say anything, Raven pushed the door open and didn't care. She walked into his room, and when she saw he wasn't in there.
But she could see someone in the bathroom, she opened the door and Damien didn't seem to be fazed when he saw her enter.
He was just wrapped in a towel, but she didn't care, she was here to confront him. She stood in front of him,
"What is this Damien?"
Damien's hand reached out and he touched her neck, "they look like hickies to me."
Raven slapped away his hand from her neck, "You know what I am asking Damien, you never left a mark on me. Is that what you meant when you said about Roman not being able to touch me?"
Damien grins, "I know but I felt like it this time."
Raven lunged at him but he blocked her hand, he pulled her closer, "Why are you angry Raven, if you didn't want this then you should have refused last night."
Raven fumed even more at his words but more at herself because she knew that he was right about that, she was the one who was supposed to reject Damien.
"Why did you do it, Damien?"
Damien shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know."
"You don't know? Wow, so this all means nothing to you but just a twisted game to you."
"Does it mean something to you, Raven?"
Raven looked at his face and definitely saw that there was no emotion of him wanting her back, but she had to take the chance,
"Yes Damien it did, I thought you and I would eventually become something."
Damien touched her hair, "You are quite the beauty I won't lie but relationships are not my style."
The words were like a blow to her, they hurt so much more coming from his mouth, which means she meant nothing still to him.
Raven stood frozen, her eyes flickered onto him, and saw that he was waiting for her to say something. All she saw was surprising her, he seemed to be relishing in her being hurt over him. He seemed glad, actually glad that she was in torment over him!
Raven pulled herself together, she would crash later, "I understand."
Raven walked out of the bathroom and went to her room, she went and showered. She was truly hopeless, she had really thought Damien would change for her yet again.
She got dressed in comfy clothes and went to the kitchen to get some food and medicine for her headache. When she got everything that she needs she went outside and sat by the patio.
She ate and drank the medication and closed her eyes to the warmth of the sun.
Raven wondered where the sun went when she could not feel it anymore, she opened her eyes and found Damien standing over her.
